You can wash it in the machine - I just did for the 3rd time with the big one
Fully understand why you purchased these 2 bags as they are so adorable. Can fit in so much and yet look so stylish. All the presents from Kat are so cute and she is so thoughtful with every item she picked for you.

Depends on how big your notebooks are but no the mini size would likely not fit notebooks.
