When I was there, one of my favorite activities was spending evenings at the tiki bars and meeting people from all over the world. If I had had the place to myself, it would have reduced my enjoyment immeasurably.
I hear you, definitely our favourite part of any trip is meeting new people and hearing their stories although we had 5 weeks in Belize and so we didn't mind 3 nights to ourselves much. There were still many friendly locals on the island, just no other tourists.
@@oftbtravel Five weeks?! Wow, that's awesome. I was there only for one week. I want to go back eventually. When I do, I will definitely make sure to return to Tobacco Caye! BTW, if you've visited Thailand, perhaps you're aware of Koh Phi Phi. If not, and you enjoyed Tobacco Caye, you should research it. You might like Koh Phi Phi for many of the same reasons, just as I did. Safe travels! ✈️ 🌎
Omg I am DYING to travel this looks amazing!! I’ve been reluctant to spend the money and not be able to do what I want but your video made me realize I NEED TO lol
I really wanna love belize but dude its always winter there man! That wind ruins it! Listen little dude had a gull on winter puff jacket on! Im wearin that now in British winter! Belize weather aint easy m8!
We are going to Belize in the spring, do you think there is enough activities on Tabaco Caye to keep a teenage boy entertained due to the lack of tours? My husband and I would be fine with or without, we would love to just relax. But he has so much energy!
It depends on how long you would be staying, I think if you were there for a week then he would be bored by the end of the week. That is, if they aren't running any tours. If you only stay for 3 or 4 nights, he could definitely find enough fun stuff to do. We spent full days just snorkeling right from shore and the paddleboarding around the island took up a lot of our time as well.
We got lucky apparently. I got it in no problem, but others said they had theirs' taken at the boarder. I do believe you can apply for a permit that is relatively cheap though and maybe just say that you will be filming some promotional content to advertise Belize to help push your application through.
@@oftbtravel ok.. I plan on bringing my Mavic Mini so pretty small. I might talk to the place we stay at to see if they will grant me access to film their property so application can go through.
@@halefamilypartyof5 ya tell them you will send them some pics in exchange for their help of something. Then apply for the permit and forward them the confirmation that you will be filming that resort. I think that would work great

Any issues getting your drone into Belize?
