5/8 11/16 wrenches on a 9/16 bolts 😂. You guys are having way too much fun. Thanks fellows. Kinda have forgotten what those old combines look like inside since the rotors have been out for a while. 😂😂🤦♂️🤦♂️.
Cracking video Dylan, really interesting to see the insides of the beast. Yous are being really thorough and I don't blame you when you're this far in it makes sense to check everything for wear and replace. Can't wait for the next video..
Great video boys !!! , I have done a couple of those feederhouse jobs ,certainly pays to replace all bearings and high wear parts while youre in there......good work !!
Nothing really looked that bad in there from what I could tell. But that's what it takes to keep a machine working like it should. Somehow I knew the blue wrench would be making an appearance!😆
@@DylanJoyceFarms Hate to hear that about your neighbors. Glad y'all missed out on that. I seen some pictures from Martin that was awful. We had some rough storms but other than power out and a few trees to clean up out of the fields nothing like what y'all got.
Been there done this, but rewarding first day in the field. Check that shoe auger pan closely. I can’t remember if my 6620 or 9500 there were busching that would wear out and ya keep the concave set where ya wanted it. 😎
Just Wow 😮😮😮 I can't even imagine digging that far in!! Man I was thinking the same thing about the time the concvat let loose....thats gonna be fun to put back in!! What a job that was it seemed!! I dealt with some 15+ year old soybean dust, so I can imagine how bad all those beards were in the TN heat I'm sure!! 🥵🥵 Did you end up replacing the shoe augers? Worthington Ag Parts, passed by that yesterday headed down to the coast, in goldsboro NC. I hope to stop in there one day! Man that stuff had to be expensive, but a drop in the bucket compared to a new machine!! Hope it all went back together well!! Looking fwd to seeing more on this!! Thank you for bringing us along!! 😁😁😁🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍🌽🌽🌾🚜🚜
Great video. Do you leave the filler plates out for all crops? Would lining the shoe augers with 1/8 inch poly be an option. Saw a guy do that to his 4400. Maybe the 9400 metal is thicker.
Yes, I do leave the filler plates out for every crop. I like running them in corn, but it's so much trouble that I don't mess with putting them in. We run two sets of.concave inserts, though. We ended up buying new show augers and the pan.
Man just watching y’all pull all the excess trash out of the combine has me itching… and when you’re sweating your butt off it makes it all the more worse lol.
Y’all went deep this time, you’re definitely in the bowels of the ole girl…she should run like a sewing machine after all the new parts👍🏻

Glad you’re keeping Bob busy😂😂😂🎉
I enjoy watching u and ur brother I learn something from u and ur brother that helps me on my farm
I appreciate that
@@DylanJoyceFarms ur welcome
Man that's gonna be new as the day it was made my friend. God bless
Great video Dylan keep them coming.
And the fun really begins when you put it back together
We did the same thing to our 9500 last year. It's a decent amount of work but not terrible. We used an epoxy paint on the grain pan.

Keep up the good work. You’re getting there.
Slowly but surely
That looks WAY easier when y'all do it

The blue wrench got used a lot on this project.
@@DylanJoyceFarms Always comes in handy!! Hope y'all didn't get much flood damage.
@fordsfarms1297 Our farm didn't receive any flood damage, but I have some friends that weren't so lucky.

I didn’t know that your combine doesn’t have a rotor in it.

We ended up putting pretty well everything new from the straw walkers forward.
@@DylanJoyceFarms That's awesome!! Thank you sir!!
A lot of hard work we changed our 7720 from rasp bars to spike we just planted beans.
I bet it would really eat the beans after that.
I love tearing stuff apart and putting it back together now is the time to fix it you inside of it?
Bryant Combine Parts they in Indiana they had all rasp bars for my 3300
Silver seeders are so much easier to work on. 😀😀.
I won't argue that point.
You guys need one if those one inch cordless impacts like what we have, it’d take those feeder house bolts out fast
What brand did you buy? We have a 1 inch air gun but hated to pull it out for just two bolts.
@@DylanJoyceFarms it’s a big IR, 3000 pounds of brake away TQ.
Sounds like what I did to our combine this summer
Paint that special tool red because it works.😂😂
I'll leave it rusty. Matches the rest of our stuff that way.
The more you take apart the worse it gets. That’s combines for you lol
Even though it's a lot of material, it's amazing that straw can wear something that much.

The worst part of putting it back together is getting in a hurry and realizing you have to take it back apart lol
I’ll take a set of those super deep well sockets. Do you accept credit cards?
5% convenience fee
Where in Indiana did you have to go for cylinder bars? Hope our Hoosier state helped you men. Great video
Franklin, Indiana, is where we traveled. We actually went to an LG field day up there, too. We might have had a touch too much fun one night.
That’s right. That tends to happen
Trimpe hard faced, Best around!
He definitely has a good reputation.@@KyleMundy
Looks like an old Goodyear forklift
I don't know any of the history on it, unfortunately.
How do y'all like that electric pressure washer?
We love it for small jobs. Keeps from having to drag the big one out.
Those engineers design stuff that way because they know they will never have to work on them. Get it out the door.
It is John Deere. got to have lots of shop labour charges
We are doing the work ourselves
Let the fun begin...NOT!
Lots of not so nice words have been said. Especially in this extreme heat.
Man just watching y’all pull all the excess trash out of the combine has me itching… and when you’re sweating your butt off it makes it all the more worse lol.
At the end of the day, it feels like you are coated in dust.
