Lots of great cars coming out now mind, although for me maybe the refreshed model 3, the BYD Seal or the new hot hatch ID3 are at the top of my list, however my Chevy Volt is still going strong and does my daily drive in EV mode so no rush.
yea same, resolving one problem at expense of another problem...
it doesn't matter that it doesn't cost fuel of any kind, if the price goes 10x high
That’s a lot of money for a toaster 😂
Tesla can’t flog FSD if the fresh look requires the updating buyer forking out again .
Short term profit thinking Elon has wedged himself.
Why believe the Tesla gaslighting from the Twit. Suggestions of great things by year’s end is an annual expectation never delivered on.
@@heardbutnotseen1529 No? The Roadster and Sapphire won't even be in the same market and the Roadster will blow the Sapphire away in performance.
10:16 Tesla, POS is not on my list. IDK why Tesla is even in here for Top-10. Ioniq 6 and Genesis EVs will dominate in 2023 in spite of EV credits not being taken. Bring it on, Ioniq - the higher the price, the more we want!!
Hyundai will not build enough for them to dominate the market even if they are 10 times better than Tesla at half the cost.
@@brownro214 They already are 10 times better and at half at cost than Tesla.
6:36 that's an interesting interior for Tesla Roadster
Audi A6 Sedan is an amazing car... I wouldn't mind to have one for sure...
audi a6 avant etron, so looking forward
brooooo we really are about to have flying cars!!! We live in the future!!!
The world of cars is changing forever. Legends of old gasoline, good-sounding, turbocharged JDMs will be left behind and these cars everywhere will be the "jdms" of new generations...
I’m not sure your information on the federal tax incentives are in line with what the has been in print on the federal web site.
I can't wait for the corvette 2025. I put away 300k for it.
The One that most interest Me is the Promised Honda Prologue.........May be a long wait.........But I want One that sits up straight........Aerodynamics be dammed.................Paul
Where's the BYD U8 & U9?
A golf ball has dimples on it to reduce drag. Suppose exterior of an Electric Vehicle had these same dimples for this reason?
How can you not include Lucid.
Not enough charging infrastructure. Ecstatic with free upgrade to an EV in Orlando (it had 1/4 charge). Researched 2 hours to find one charger 2 resorts away. Sat for an hour in the car to get enough charge to drive the family to dinner. Dropped family off after dinner and went to the charger at 10. It was taken so I limped back home. Barely made it to the charger at midnight and was so relieved to find it available. I walked 20 minutes home. At 5 am, walked 20 minutes to get the car and someone unplugged it to charge their car. Thankful it was back at 1/4 charge - enough to get back to MCO at 6 am and switch to a gas car so we could get back to vacation. Drove without A/C to preserve range. My sister (actively researching electric cars and was having a charging station installed at home) was horrified. We went from can't wait to try it to can't wait to get rid of it in 12 hours. We concluded Hybrid but not electric. Rent an electric car for 2-3 days before buying one just to see if it even works in your area. Can't imagine an electric pickup in a rural area.
should have added cadillac lyric
How do they handle on snow and ice roads in the mountains? Winter can be brutal in the Rocky Mountains
FYI I currently own a Genesis GV60 here in Canada, with all-season tires. Even in severe cold, handling is not an issue. The E-GMP platform is +4,500 lbs., so it stays planted even on ice. However, battery range is a different story...
@@frozenrobert5735 Your first mistake as an Amateur driver, All season is a fallacy, driving in real winter conditions requires Dedicated Snow Tires. Go check all the Videos on driving in the mountains in BC, Colorado, the Sierras, tests done by professionals, you are under a dangerous illusion, you are listening to garbage advice. Your lifespan in winter is an accident waiting to happen.
@@frozenrobert5735 You can’t plant rubber on ice and not slide. Even if you had a 20 wheel drive , ice is ice you will slide off the road, maybe studs on winter tires will be better. Ooh, ooh! Gotta have one of those Ys with the SpaceX Package, for sure! Vroom, Vroom, Vroom, YeeeeeeeeeHaw!
And that Tesla truck/boat is also a Must Have vehicle.
2023 is a really exciting year for the EV market!
magnifico.💥💥💥💥💥💥
I’ve already made up my mind on getting the Chevy Blazer SS EV. I want to be one of the first people to have one.
There will be a lot more choices soon, and that should also improve range and features. What about crash testing and safety? The Aptera would great as basic autonomous transportation but the issue of safety as well as load capacity could be factors limiting sales Also, integration of solar panels might also be utilized by other manufacturers.
Only Lightyear and Aptera are designing the cars for solar.
My 2021 Tesla Model 3 Performance is going to be the last car I bought… Quick enough 0-60 in 3.1 sec and efficient to have big range at a good price/performance/efficiency level
I know the Wu ling is not new this year but I like the $5,000 dollar price tag... and so would many others...
WHAT? you aren't addicted to cars to spend$70,000 for a hunk of plastic? For Shame!
Lightyear 2 orders open today - pricing only $40k. Deliveries in 2025? No money down required. See Electrek for further info and pics.
Appreciate your list but what people want is much much more affordable transportation
It is totally doable with electric platforms
The days of spending a huge amount of your income on transportation is Over
And once the Chinese manufacturers get a foothold the Legacy manufacturers and the rest will adapt or die
We need comercial fuctional capable service vehicales as will 600 mile range
Looking forward to the Chevy Equinox EV
I want the Hyundai that looks like a Delorean ❤
Aptera Solar EV is my fravorit car with the big batterie
SLOPE-Y roofline 11:13 (production quality ffs?)
When is the Sony Vision coming?
The Aptera is the most future oriented, while the Audi e-tron is the sexiest one (in my opinion).
what of the mercedes benz EQS model I expected to hear something about them in this video
Will Mullan bring their cars to market? Walmart gave them a big order
Looks like a golf cart to me....I'll take a big block V8 thank you
Fast electric vehicles can out-accelerate any big V8 and will do it without the noise, pollution and waste. They are NOT golf carts!
17 x cheaper would mean the consumer would be paid 16 x the amount, i.e. -16 times the cost of the model you are comparing it to. What you mean is 1/17th the amount.
Fisker Ocean all the way. Nothing close to it for the price.
byd u8 > cybertruck

In about 5-7 yrs there will be a much bigger battle to make a
Correct. Companies in the near term need cars that can help them recover the outrageous R&D costs involved in making a car unlike anything they've ever made and racing to improve the tech to be more and more competitive with ICE for range, convenience and affordability. But as tech improves and costs come down, cheap models will become available. It'll progress much like flat screen TVs.
Now reduce prices 5k and give me one without a freaking movie theater on the dash. I like to look at the road when I drive and don’t see why I have to spend so much money on something that has no use whatsoever to me…
I'll take the *Audi,* please.
When will the Tesla roadster be available to the public?
Can you drop more details on their speakers?
“Aptera me” in their 60kWh ( 600 mi range) While the other choices would surely be a beautiful “ other car”😉
Is Elon Musk as CEO of Tesla producing cars for racing or for family use? speed is not the criteria, price, fast charge and range is the main aim of any family, period
Geezus! Was that her styrofoam head rolling around??
I also like that three wheel car.
That's the Aptera, designed to be the most energy-efficient possible vehicle without being impractical.
Lotus looks like of copy of NIO EC series...
The Aptera should be sub $20k asking price for basic vehicle, asking for $26k is a bit rich in my opinion.
Looks dangerous to me. Don’t think I would trust it with my
Family
@@yoreltrust4059 To be fair, I personally would not class it as a family car, more for an individual or couple. The 3 wheel set-up has many virtues for stability and rigidness.
O i forgot sea water batteries fire ,example florida cars caught on fire,in Penn in a snow storm the only cars left behind were electric
This company has only succeeded in introducing only electronic elements as well as other vehicles on the market. My question is when this company and other vehicle construction companies will create new mechanical technologies different from the ones that exist today.
Definitely the VW I7 or the Audi A6 avant
You missed out all the MOST EXCITING ones: AION Hyper SSR 1288HP, delivers 1.9 second to 100 kmph performance at $180 thousand , BYD U9 can do the deliver the same performance for the same price, BYD U8 SUV has 1,000 HP, float on water for 30 minutes, U-turn on the dot, and crab-walk eliminating parallel parking, All coming in 2023.
