- Police dismantled pro-Palestinian encampments and made arrests at the University of Pennsylvania, MIT and the University of Arizona. With graduations getting underway across the country, Pomona College moved its commencement off campus because protesters occupied the stage where the ceremony was to be held. NBC News' Liz Kreutz reports.

You negate your first Amendment rights when you hinder the rights of others. That includes blocking roads, entrances to establishments and promoting violence.

Law enforcement has an obligation to halt whatever it is that’s stopping people from carrying on with their lives. People like you think that you can disrupt society and still fall under the category that is “we the people”. I never said that the tents were causing violence. Do I have to get into why the encampments are being removed? Or should I post up a tent at your local park and see how it effects your children? Where in the constitution does it say that you have the right to hinder the rights of others? Blocking roads hinders a persons right to travel.

Nobody cares about protests but you obviously cant set up encampments and universities have the right to enforce the rules. Nobody cares if they protest just do it somewhere else where you have a permit to do so and dont impede on others rights it’s not that hard. And there is a heavy military presence cause there are school shootings each year.
