Thank goodness he's not like the others, it would have broken my heart. He's the Papa Bear of nomadic life and was the one who inspired me to get out of a 12 year abusive relationship. He was the first, that I know of , to highlight and bring awareness to the plight of aging women and their need for affordable housing options. (Boondocking, car living, tiny house, etc.) There are good genuine people in this movement.
$600 a month would have been just for rent in most places. Instead she gets to travel, eat and live while meeting new people for that amount. Great interview.
Once again you have shown us that it can be done on a dime! Crystal is an example of a smart, confident beautiful woman. She’s some I will definitely follow!
Well, shut my mouth! I've seen Crystal's videos and never realized her vehicle was a minivan NOR that she was old enough to have an adult son and grandbaby! How marvelous to see this interview - thank you!

From an old white buzzard (I’m 76), I am very impressed with you and your good choices in life style. I wish you good blessings and safe keeping as you travel and enjoy some years of your life. I’m guessing that you are an encouragement to a lot of people.
I think what you are doing is courageous. I have always wanted an RV What you and a other single women are is teaching a new generation, that things are just that. Love you😄. My only complaint is the you length of some videos.
Hey Crystal, I like that saying. Not homeless houseless, for now, by choice. I'm planning on mobile homing this spring. I plan to save money, buy land, and build a small house on it. I have the advantage of working at night, so I'm hoping stealth parking may be easier to stealth park during the day. Seeing women like you....focused, goal oriented, and motivated by the freedom and independence of owning a truly mobile home helps me a lot. Thanks so much for posting.

She is a very nice person who is living life on her own terms. That is wonderful. The world needs more strong, independent people like her! It would be a better place.

In other words, I don't spend money I do not have...and that is truly freedom! I live slowly and deliberately as I prepare to make that final transition into a nomad van-dwelling life. Awesome Crystal you keep on doing you. You don't have to worry about the hussle and bussal of the world. You are a smart woman. At least for a few months, save some money and decide if this is a good choice for them or not. I happen to have a relative who is newly homeless due to life issues and sometimes sleeps in their car. But let me tell ya, after seeing how many of you live so well in your homes-on-wheels, I think it's fantastic! I've told him, "make it your home, temporary or not." My other family members think it's dangerous and "sad", but I'm like, watch these videos!! There's such a great way to do it! Kudos to you all living free and your own way! And keep the vids coming, I can't get enough of 'em! Haha. Now personally, I don't think I'll ever be house-less because my husband is 6'8 and around 380lbs, so there aren't many homes-on-wheels short of a mobile home that'll fit him! Haha, but carry on! Blessings all.
