I have so much respect or your cattle haulers, I drove coast to coast for 54 years, heavy haul, tankers, reefer, van, skateboards, dumps, but never any livestock or people. I just had my wife watch this. She said 99.9 percent of people have no idea what you guys do. She has a lot more understanding of trucking since we met 14 years ago. Thank you so much for sharing this with the world, Last of the Cowboys... like Tony Justice sings about.
Never imagined a live stock trailer had so many moving parts inside. This was very educational. I love learning what is involved with jobs I’ve never done. Thanks for the video
I loved watching this - such a beautiful trailer with so many great features. I liked how you described what you were doing as the task progressed. Something oddly satisfying to see the trailer being washed clean.
It's interesting to see the interior of other trailer setups. Out west I run a trailer set straight for fat cattle. The top deck goes all the way up across the nose, no dog house on the back step which lets us run taller cattle back there and the belly is a tiny bit lower to the ground to give a little more room in the belly. Wish I had that crank deck though when I was running calfs. One too many times forgetting to move then and having to pry them apart after freezing together lol.
We use to use a scraper to go down the length of the runners first then use the hose. We got it done pretty fast and didn't get anywhere near as dirty.
If someone has asked this question previously I apologize in advance but what does it cost to wash out 2,000 pounds of cow crap from your trailer? The water bill alone has to add add up not counting your time and effort. Thank you for sharing this video with us and keeping America rolling. Stay Safe
You’re not in the garden fertilizer business. I think that’s a crime. Go buy a bag of garden fertilizer and you know it’s like dug up from an oil dump not a cattle barn. And then you don’t wear a hazmat suit to clean that trailer. Boy boy. You get my respect for doing what you do.
Nice truck and video!! How I can get into livestock trucking? Got my own authority but not a jaula. I have experience with vans, roll off, tankers, flat bed and live floor trailers. I love hauling garbage and tankers maybe because the challenges. But I really I think I will love hauling livestock. Every time I am next to a livestock trailer with cows I just remember my childhood days in a dairy farm close to my house. I ask the owner when the milk truck or feed truck was coming so I can be there to watch the loading or unloading process 😂😂😂 what are the insurance requirements to haul livestock? It’s there companies that rent trailers?
@@VaughnDallasVance do you have a extra trailer for rent? I have to renew my insurance at the end of this month. 100,000 cargo insurance it’s ok? Or have to be more?
Been there , done that , many times like you probably have back in the 90's Watched the whole video, I wanted to see if you did a good job , you did !👍 From an old bull hauler 😂
The side doors in the center are used for access. Or to remove dead livestock. It’s also used for loading for day old calves. The side door on the back of the trailer is used for loading at some places in California that cant be backed straight into
If a boss assigns you.the job to hose out crap from a livestock trailer, you're on the.boss's shit list. Cleaning out crap from a livestock trailer is truly a shit job.

Dude Much respect for you. Ain't no way I could handle that.
I would have on full rain gear.
@@johndeere8594 me too and some type of fresh breathing air gear like scuba gear or something. lol
Never knew it was "self service" 😂. Thanks for the education,.....safe travels sir.
As my Dad used to say. "Don't worry it is clean poop. It hasn't touched the ground."
I think I got E. coli from watching this. Much respect to you.

Anywhere from 50 bucks to over 200 dollars
I bet the grass grows nice & green around your wash out area.
You are correct

You’ll need to know someone first most of the time. Insurance is similar. And there aren’t big companies that lease trailers.
How much does a new cattle pot lease for per month?
@@VaughnDallasVance do you have a extra trailer for rent? I have to renew my insurance at the end of this month. 100,000 cargo insurance it’s ok? Or have to be more?
Never knew how hard it was to clean the trailer God bless drive safe

That's amazing never knew that cows would crap that much 2000 lbs man that's a lot of crap to deal with is that for every trip? Thxs
Damn you let that get shotty. Lol
Like the old saying goes ; EVERYBODY wants to be a BULL HAULER --- TILL it's time to do BULL HAULER SH#T ...
This is just 1 of those reasons ... 🐂
2:56 how in the world did that poop get there, right, mid side
How do u find your loads Do they have brokers?
How in the world do you do it in the winter with the cold metal and everything freezing?
What are the side doors used for? Access?

Thank You for your time. I appreciate your work and professionalism.
I don't know how I got here. I know I don't want to be here, and yet I'm still here.
Do truck stop washes like blue beacon do wash out of these types of trailers?
Blue Beacon will wash the outside of the trailer. The inside is washed out elsewhere
How often do you have to do it?
6 to 10+ times a month
Great video
DAM SOME CAME THROUGH MY PHONE 😂
😂
What is the cost of a nnew trailer like yours. ?
$120,000
Man that’s a nice trailer
Question how come you don't use a hot pressure washer
I do every now and then
Cattle haulers must make stupid money. I never see one without a custom truck and I never see one going under 100mph
You have my respect
No F’n way. I’ll stick to heavy wreckers well that’s until you need a pull out to f the ditch lol!!! Stay safe driver!! 👍👍👍
Oddly Satisfying!
It's a dirty job but somebody's got to do it !
I would think a pressure washer would be better use less water
That’s a lotta cow dookie
Why wash out the trailer? Grow some grass for the cattle on the way to the auction or slaughter house!😂😂😂
16:05 you just got a new subscriber. 😅
Some coveralls would be a nice investment considering all the back splash getting on your clothes
If my math is correct that's a whole ton of crap.
That’s one nasty & stinky job. WOW. Not for me. Lol!
Id start with rubber gloves .😮
Stumbled across this while eating a bacon cheeseburger. Oh boy!
😂
Makes a person think twice about that burger for dinner.
Ribeye is better
Respect!
Looks like fun other than the smell and splash back lol
Is this why Rib-eye steaks are so expensive? You get payed for this? Just wondering. St.Paul,Minnesota.
Rib-eye steaks are expensive because 4 companies own 85% of the packing plant market.
@@VaughnDallasVancehow about cull cow meat is it cheap, hope those 4 companies won’t control
Thats good poop. Organic!
1 day you should weigh before you wash out and then weigh afterto see how much shit was in the trailer
I hope you wash your hands my friend 😅
It's a shitty job, but somebody's got to do it.

Why you not wearing gloves 😮 😂
Why would u not wear rubber gloves...holy cow!
The company should invest in a soaking pit.
What a big big mess
Bruh i can understand shorts
but no gloves come on
Blessing towards you !!!!!!
Ya wouldn’t a pressure washer with maybe a soap if some sort, just an FYI. I’d be in a full hazmat suit. You is crazy
It is a pressure washer
It must take a while
Dirty job fuq my life
