    Caps and resists (capacitors and resistors) are not put into the CPU using lithography. The lithography just makes the transistors and other processes add those components (usually microsoldering from my understanding).

      Caps I don't know, but resistors they do. Same way they make the "wires" just in a squiggly line instead if a direct connection

    • @deang5622
      @deang5622 Год назад +7

      @@loligesgame They generally don't make resistors on digital integrated circuits.
      The value in ohms of a resistor on an integrated circuit die is determined by the ratio of the length to height of a rectangle.
      Resistors take up a lot of area.
      Yes it is possible to take a very long thin rectangle and make it more compact by having it create a line which turns left and right repeatedly but it generally is not done.
      It is a more efficient use of the area to use a transistor and tie two of its pins together and design the dimensions of transistor to give you the resistance you need.
      The wiggling of traces on dies is more likely to be an interconnect trace carrying a digital signal which we then wiggle back and forth along its length to introduce extra timing delay to fix a timing problem.
      Capacitors we certainly don't put on to a digital integrated circuit die, because they take up far too much area.
      And we generally don't need them.
      If you remember your capacitor formula,
      C= (Aε0.εr)/d
      you will see that the capacitance is directly proportional to the area of the parallel plates.
      They are too costly in the amount of area they need.

      @@deang5622 Mostly true, but don't forget about trench capacitors used in CMOS logic and some memory circuits. Since we usually only use high and low values, the resistors between gates usually arent that important and are mostly not considered. The only example I can think of is inside an ADC, but I would be surprised if they actually use resistors with precise (+-5%) values in there

    • @deang5622

      @@gaelas4853 DT's aren't used in CMOS logic but for DRAM memory cells.
      They refer to the process technology as CMOS but CMOS logic uses both P channel and N channel MOSFETs and doesn't require capacitors to operate.
      The DT capacitors are a way to reduce the surface area required for the capacitor of and keep the die area down, as the die size is a major element of the manufacturing cost.
      DT's didn't exist when I was in the semiconductor industry.

    Fairly exotic part, probably only found in upscale equipment, which makes sense for a channel that's about recovering gold.

    Jesus Christ Is Our Only Living God and the Only way to get to Heaven is through Him.
    He gave His Life for us, at lest we can do is take time to find out why He would do that for Us.
    He Loves us, and only ask to Believe in Him, and turn away from the sinful ways, We all sin weather wishing someone died or actually killing them, it is the same in Gods eyes. He loves us and will help us change our ways just by asking. He is coming real soon for His followers, Please don't be left here for the wrath to come upon the wickedness of this world. Just look around. He died for our sins, He lived a sinless life and we killed Him, hung Him on a cross tell he died, then buried Him, and He rose up on the third day then ascended to Heaven. Please Believe in Him
