That's a level of detail i wouldn't have expected from an auto-thingie.
It'd be cool if there was a type of slider you could use after placing your units to visualize the distance traveled after 6-10 seconds of time passing. That way you could perfectly line up where you want your units to be by the time they get close to the center line of the board.
Been loving watching these Sean. This took me right back to watching starcraft 2 videos and strategy guides from you.

Emp on the snipers can help slow down rhinos and disable tech so the hackers can work better
Then they just take the tech that makes them immune.
hackers are the best counter to rhino, he was just too slow on getting the hackers down, had bad positioning with those first hackers, and took shield when he desperately needed range.
Also vertical shield fangs are the best at delaying rhinos

I acknowledge the joke but I would immediately re-hire if this conversation happened.

Day[9] and I exact same reaction to the mobile beacon plays. This guy is way better than I am.
I can never understand the rhino vs hacker matchup - I had a game where i was the one with a super rhino at like level 4/5 and my opponent built one hacker. Figured what good will that do if you aren't damaging the rhino anyway. It got hacked in one second flat, couldn't understand why and that one pick swung the whole game.
Tried the same against rhinos myself and hackers didn't do a thing against them. I don't get it.
hackers benefit immensely from attack boosting items and levels. That’s why day9 almost always either is an elite specialist or buys the elite reinforcements at his tower before getting hackers.

This feels like stream sniping to me. The opponent made a series of very unlikely predictions that bypassed Day9's defenses.
I think the leaps to those specific solutions for "defend the rhino" were a bit too on the nose. It's possible it's not ghosting, but it's reasonable to be suspect in this case.
Nothing unlikely about any of his predictions. Mobile beacon on rhino is fairly standard, you'll never see a rhino in play without it. It doesn't take a genius to see that the opponent has the option to choose Orbital Javelin to take out the highest threat unit on your board. Lastly selling that rhino made perfect sense because those hackers were definitely gonna hack it on the next turn and then he'd be screwed by his own rhino.

One idea against the rhino is electromagnetics. Shuts down the regen that gives you so much trouble.
If I recall correctly EMP does not disable equipment, only techs. It does slow them down though which is key for hackers. Until they get photon coating.

Time ran out (top center UI) so both teams took damage based on units left. This is to prevent drawn-out situations of two slow, low damage armies that can't kill each other, or Stormcallers shooting at missile interceptors forever.

I would've upgraded the Sledgehamners with EMP to stop the Rhino.
EMP doesn't stop; it merely slows.

That dude was 10000% ghosting, though, ghosted so hard he outsmarted himself. He heard day9 going melters, immediately sold the rhino to buy a bunch of wasps to rush them in and try to counter it. Not to mention the perfect reads and predicts - people playing at higher elo than this don't even predict that perfectly. And a guy who is willing to sell a level 3 regen rhino that has been winning you the entire game, just to buy a bunch of shitty level 1 wasps, to invest in bad replicate flanks that are already protected...yeah he isn't good enough for those reads.

Tons of hackers on the field, and now they have shields? I might've predicted them adding 3 more hackers and absolutely no longer being confident that they won't take my Rhino, and knowing that if they take it then that's game for me.
Those decisions make sense to me. The only thing that might compel me to think he was watching stream would've been the wasps. idk

I'm a little baffled by other people proclaiming there was no way someone could have had simple thoughts. Like you're getting shot through a wall in Counterstrike where usually people shoot through because people sit behind it and you're absolutely sure there must be hacks.
Or someone rushes you in an RTS when you're susceptible to a rush and you're like: Oh yea, they must have known I'm not preparing a defense because of cheating!
All those moves looked pretty straightforward to me as just a viewer who gets a rough grasp of the game from seeing it. Fortresses? Might be a Melter coming. No AA? Probably air. Flank unsafe? Flank maybe. Mass Crawlers would wreck and Subsidized Crawlers available? Maybe that.
It's such a weird attitude to me. "How would they know I'm in the only spot where it makes sense to be? Why do they pick the thing that would have the highest chance to defeat me based on the available information?! Cheater!!!
The red arrow when you place the unit should have some kind of speed animation relative to the unit speed.
