Great band and song. Anyone who plays the drums and sings at the same time deserves so much credit because it takes so much out of you playing drums and to sing on top of it as well it can leave you a real mess for a while, especially when so much effort, heart and soul goes into it like this
They're actually from Belgium (Leuven - not very far from where i live) and signed on US label Sargent house. I saw them live last year and it was quite an experience - huge sound for a trio and Stefanie is both badass and emotionally moving on stage. Thx for the great reaction, I'm happy you loved it.
Thank you I will be doing more and next time I will record it in mp4 my computer died had to reinstall everything and forgot to set it to mp4 and I always like bands that put their heart and soul into it like they do and the next one I do iwill say they are from Belgium lol!!
Hi Mr B! I just found out about your reaction to Brutus. I love this band. I saw them live in Paris in 2019 and it was amazing. I have their first two albums on vinyl. Keep it on, I like your channel
It is a truly powerful and moving song which is why I think it is so underappreciated because it is basically metaphorically about the betrayal of the values and morals that you stand for. This song really could not be more relevant right now to the United States.
I bought the album on the strength of this track. She sings every one at the top of her voice which makes it a very gruelling experience. I've never listened to it since. You'd be better listening to Alcest from France.
Great band, super underrated and both of their albums are solid in my opinion. Nice reaction, Stefanie the singer/drummer rules and sings exceptionally well live for a drummer/singer. Band has a huge sound for a 3 piece.
One of my fav bands 😢
Yes they are very good.

Yup Stefanie rules, also shoutout Brann Dailor from mastodon, that dude is a freak.

Brutus rules, hope the album they’re recording now blows them up because they deserve a lot more attention.
