yes lol, if you are good at inteleon, there is not really *anything* anyone can do about it. I think a character having almost 0 counterplay, even if it's at the high/top level is unhealthy. It's a sniper that also cripples tanks heavily from a completely safe distance. And if the healer (opposite side of inteleon) doesn't play perfectly, you're basically guaranteed to be at a massive disadvantage. In addition, unlike every other sniper, inteleon is much much harder to punish due to being able to avoid point and click through invisibility, and by fell stinger being such a potent escape option. (Not enough people talk about how powerful being able to avoid point and click is passively, and only think of how easy it is to see inteleon even when invisible)
That damn laser makes it unironically better because it randomly disappears sometimes, making it impossible to tell if they're still aiming at you, then you lose half your health to an invisible projectile, all because of the awful code for the tall grass.
I mean Snipe Shot can be aimed from behind and the player just flicks 180 degrees towards you. That’s how skilled Inteleons can deal 4k damage from 10 kilometers away. I played the lizard myself and got the hang of it in like 5 games (cuz i’m a mew main). The increased FOV is insanely good too

I feel like if anything they need to slightly adjust Inteleon's Sniper passive. If you nerf the crit ratio a bit most of Inteleon's issues as a character dissapear. Unite not as impactful, basics not as overwhelming, Snipe Shot not that big of a nuke. BUT knowing the devs, if Inteleon gets nerfed, it's getting annihilated.
Also the fact that Inteleon is a ranged character, with a Unite that Bush Checks/Gives you 2k autos, and a long range escape skill, really dampens the "skill" part. I've always been of the opinion that Melee Pokémon, specifically certain speedsters, require much, much more skill.
The broken thing about Inteleon is that it can take you out even at close range bc of its boosted basics. It has so much damage at close range as it has at long range, something that the other sniper in the game doesnt have. You shouldnt be able to get out of a speedster range and kill with two or three boosted basics(which it can charge really quick using FS and going insivible almost immediately). Even its unite its bs bc if you dont have any way of creating distance (something most attackers, support dont have) you are down in 2 basics. Edit: also, one of the broken things liquidation had was getting to shoot 2 basics and using the third one to finish of the 40 to 50% left of hp on the enemy

If you can land all those shots, you reap all the rewards. That requires high skill i’d say. Also zoroark does not instantly die if you miss a feint attack lol, full heal and illusion exist

It's easy to miss the snipe shot, it's true, but you have 3 chances in 5 seconds to deal 9k damage without charging the move. It's way too much. They should nerf it to 2k per hit and increase the cooldown.

Its not that the Regi's are bugging out on Inteleon. Its that everytime you go invisible, it considers you as no longer fighting and thus resets as you saw. Only work around is if you can have team member keep it locked down while you snipe from afar or if you hit the regi with fell stinger
From what I’ve seen the main issue here is close scope damage which yeah is wack, but the basics are way more crazy than snipe shot in this regard honestly a lot of mages can do a lot of damage up close with their abilities that’s fine he is only able to finish you off because of he 1k+ basics he has. Furthermore if you’re up close it makes more sense to spam autos since that’s higher dps overall. Nerf autos and maybe water gun but please don’t touch snipe too much. I also saw someone say to lower the crit multiplier and yeah that could probably work, it hurts snipe shot but they could just buff the hitbox.
Here's why I think as a sniper main who plays both Inteleon and Decidieye. I've a little less win rate on Inteleon and Decidieye a 1% less, 52 on deci, but 51 on Inteleon because it's hard to carry on inteleon. You need to realize that nerfing snipe shot will make Inteleon useless. 1. It cannot pierce enemies hence you need to rely on your team heavily, 2. Your secures can be blocked 3. If enemy even has a single speester they can keep jumping on you, there's nothing you can do about it. 4. It's the highest skill move and has to have high reward. But there's still a thing they should nerf, it's ability to auto target without charging, they can definitely nerf that to keep it high skilled. But if they nerf too much of it's damage it'll be completely useless, why play inteleon in that case when you have decidueye that can pierce through targets and have CC unite. Also, inteleon's early game can be nerfed.
Adding to this, they should nerf crit counters on inteleon instead of snipe shot. Early game aside that is literally it's biggest bonus if the damage is nerfed or it gains crit counters less fast would be much better than touching it's stats or even water gun. Feels like water gun is op because of the crit counters and tearful look

But still the pokemon is not as insane as something like Dragapult or Glacion, and is the only attacker whose all skills are single target and high skill, so 95% or more than that are not even playing this pokemon so not teaching it is fine. I would say not touch it because not a lot of people play it anyway because it's expert level difficulty, if they nerf it even less people will play it and suddenly it goes into Dragapult memorial tier where 1% or less people plays it.
Just make it rely soley on Snipes and Liquidation. Nerf Basic attacks by sizeable amount and maybe nerf fell stingers range. The basics does so much damage to even Cookie stacked defenders. Just take for example another character like mew who does barely any damage with basics, Not saying nerf inteleon to that range. Maybe to the range of delphox or gardevoir basics.

Intelions passive is probably top 5/3 most broken passives in the game and thats mostly it, theres not much to talk abt, that shit buffs him so much, like, he is more dependent of his passive more than Zacian is from its golden autos I have a really good idea for Intelion that devs will not even think about it lol, Intelions best item is choice specs and that item buffs his snipe so much it is crazy, 4k+ crits only exist because of that too, if you ever sniped a defender you know that your first snipe deals more damage than the second one, they could make him item dependent by nerfing his scalings / base damage / crit multiplier (any of these is good) to a point where he could only deal massive damage when he has the item up, it would add so much more depth to him while balancing him I see a lot of people talking abt a fell stinger nerf, i think a +1 sec of wait in the cd after hitting a wall would be better than a range nerf Slowing down his unite move passive recharges could be good too but at this point it is too many nerfs
Wow this was the most fun I've had in unite since Mew. Just tried this, don't have maxed emblems so my SP just got to 18. Not sure if it needs nerfed or not, most opponents are just too stupid to move around rather than walk in a straight line. First match, I kept getting annihilated by a Gardevoir. But I did put off some crazy snipes. But again because they weren't moving or just walking in a straight line away from me. Literally any CC just utterly destroys you.
Snipe shot dealing around 3k damage or more, i get it ignores sp def but that does give decidueye's spirit shackle a run for its money. The indicator to snipe shot is there but sometimes u don't even see the move itself when offscreen. That even happens to talonflame ult when offscreen and u won't even see the indicator of that move. The critical hit damage granted from the critical hit counters is technically the main issue.
His fell stinger is one of the best movement move of the game that's sure, but his snipe make him motionless. I'm really good with umbreon (I don't play mean look) and sniper inteleon is one of my favorite target (I know that umbreon is busted too tho). I think the main problem is (like always) team work. If someone with good mobility chase inteleon regardless of the rest of the ennemy team, he becomes wayyyyy more managable. This game kind of prove my point, no ennemies were after you.
Reduce the damage of partially charged snipe shot and increase the cooldown of either snipe shot OR fell stinger. (preferably snipe shot cooldown) Reduce early game water gun damage.
Inteleon is my most played Pokémon & I put a lot of time into the liquidation build so I understand how to use the Pokémon but I can tell you that using sniper shot can be quite difficult to pull off sometimes. High Dmg but also requires some skill
MIght be a hot take, but I would nerf fell stinger/acro. Make the cooldowns longer, reduce the range of the grapple, only give 1 boosted, and start the cloaking for another instead of giving 2 (in stinger's case, acro can get two if you bounce off a enemy mon and 1 off a regular mob). If you nerf the mobility and amount of crits it can do, you can still let it hit 2k's with autos and snipes, but less often if you need to be out of the fight for longer to charge them. It also means it doesn't get to kite melee's quite as hard and lets you punish with speedsters/all rounders.
I got 13 kills from inteoeon when my team had a good trevenant, whenever my hp dropped and i wanted to retreat, that trevenant pushed them back with horn leach and i just hide in bush and snipe shots just became one shots, one snipe enemy down
Well i do think inteleon basic attack should be nerfed but u can't complain if u come against a snipe shot inteleon pro player as ur enemy and after getting killed u said oh it is broken because those who don't know how to play it, they keep missing their snipe shot and just basic attack the whole time and eventually lost the match and we all know that inteleon is one of the most squishiest Pokemon and u can counter him in many ways and think about glaceon also its literally just pressing buttons
The snipe shot itself is op. If you ever play against it you notice how 1 snipe brings you down to half health as an all rounder and 1/3 hp as an attacker

They should make it fair by reducing the damage and making the hit box a bit bigger, if they nerf it its gonna be unplayable because the shots are pretty hard to hit. And maybe the crits on basic attacks can be reduced a bit also for unite also.

If they removed the 'Quick Scope' aspect of Snipe Shot (By making it take 0.5 seconds of charge up minimum before you can fire) and toned the critical damage back a *little*, it wouldn't be quite as egregious as it is right now.
Honestly I think the devs should nerf the quick scope damage because if done correctly you can do basic attack, quick scope, then one more basic attack which melts squishy pokemon... But no other nerfs... Like if you hit a snipe shot from its max distance you should do that much damage... You earned it
You need to have a crit counter in order to deal damage and have to charge the shot and hit the shot... being rewarded for managing that its a good thing... maybe a damage nerf ? sure, but don't nerf the thing to the ground, Decidueye has the same thing with less drawbacks and i don't see people crying for it. Also you can nerf the basic attack damage as well, but those are two different things, Inteleon unite is ridiculous because of it.

They need to fix inteleon. Snipe shot is so unbelievably buggy right now because the projectile and laser can hide in tall grass for some reason. It moves so fast thay if the projectile goes invisible, it wont be visible until making contact, leaving the target crippled and incredibly confused where the invisible projectile came from.
And for the snipe shot nerf...i am not sure about it. I mean of course a pro esport player manage to make this "i target into the opposite direction and then in the last moment i turn around and hit my enemy with a snipe shot"

A high skill cap doesn’t give you an excuse to deal 3-4k damage from a move at like a cool down of 1-2secs. No one is asking a nerf it to a ground nerf but it’s damage basics as well as snipes to reduce by small amounts like 100 and 500 respectively. If we go by these players logic dodrio shouldn’t have ever been nerfed and dragonite and mew too. And snipe shots isn’t even close to some of the top mons’ skill ceilings in the game.

actually, spirit shackle is better. it has a ton more maneuverability. Since the addition of charging charm, its even better. Plus, with the wider hitbox, i can hit multiple enemies instead of just one. Also good to steal ray, where it goes through players unlike snipe shot.

Its Crit basics are so insanely ridiculous you can 1v1 auto attackers with just that. Fell stinger gives insane mobility for how spammable it is and also gives free crit charges. When an enemy gets close to deciduye you just pray that he doesn't land his cc as you use shadow sneak(12s cd btw mewtwo's psystrike has less cd) and espeed. Inteleon gets an uninterruptible move that pulls it to walls every 3s. And inteleon is one of the best attackers in early game. It's insane how this mon has been S tier since release.
They need to nerf it's crit multiplier. It's dumb for a character that has sure crits. This would make the Liquidation build even worse, so they should buff it while at it. Also, Fell Stinger needs less range and/or +1s of CD. It's too spammable, so Inteleon always has escaping tools and crits.
A good nerf/ rework for intel I’d say is to make crit counters harder to gain and set a time limit on how long they last before expiring that way you have to juggle you resources to get the huge damage out put.

Snipe Shot deserves a nerf. Not to playability, but to effectiveness. It should deal a little less damage. Decrease the Scaling by maybe 5-10% and remove a charge until Snipe Shot+ There's no good reason to have multiple charges at a low level. It should deal a lot of damage, but you should be punished for missing.

If you can land all those shots, you reap all the rewards. That requires high skill i’d say. Also zoroark does not instantly die if you miss a feint attack lol, full heal and illusion exist

It's easy to miss the snipe shot, it's true, but you have 3 chances in 5 seconds to deal 9k damage without charging the move. It's way too much.
They should nerf it to 2k per hit and increase the cooldown.

My one problem is that most snipe shot users don’t know how to use snipeshot; often missing or not knowing about how obvious it is to see.
Its not that the Regi's are bugging out on Inteleon. Its that everytime you go invisible, it considers you as no longer fighting and thus resets as you saw. Only work around is if you can have team member keep it locked down while you snipe from afar or if you hit the regi with fell stinger
From what I’ve seen the main issue here is close scope damage which yeah is wack, but the basics are way more crazy than snipe shot in this regard honestly a lot of mages can do a lot of damage up close with their abilities that’s fine he is only able to finish you off because of he 1k+ basics he has. Furthermore if you’re up close it makes more sense to spam autos since that’s higher dps overall. Nerf autos and maybe water gun but please don’t touch snipe too much. I also saw someone say to lower the crit multiplier and yeah that could probably work, it hurts snipe shot but they could just buff the hitbox.
Don’t nerf Snipe Shot. You’ll kill the Pokémon completely. You can nerf basic attack damage but but not the skill.

Here's why I think as a sniper main who plays both Inteleon and Decidieye. I've a little less win rate on Inteleon and Decidieye a 1% less, 52 on deci, but 51 on Inteleon because it's hard to carry on inteleon. You need to realize that nerfing snipe shot will make Inteleon useless. 1. It cannot pierce enemies hence you need to rely on your team heavily, 2. Your secures can be blocked 3. If enemy even has a single speester they can keep jumping on you, there's nothing you can do about it. 4. It's the highest skill move and has to have high reward.
But there's still a thing they should nerf, it's ability to auto target without charging, they can definitely nerf that to keep it high skilled. But if they nerf too much of it's damage it'll be completely useless, why play inteleon in that case when you have decidueye that can pierce through targets and have CC unite. Also, inteleon's early game can be nerfed.
Adding to this, they should nerf crit counters on inteleon instead of snipe shot. Early game aside that is literally it's biggest bonus if the damage is nerfed or it gains crit counters less fast would be much better than touching it's stats or even water gun.

But still the pokemon is not as insane as something like Dragapult or Glacion, and is the only attacker whose all skills are single target and high skill, so 95% or more than that are not even playing this pokemon so not teaching it is fine. I would say not touch it because not a lot of people play it anyway because it's expert level difficulty, if they nerf it even less people will play it and suddenly it goes into Dragapult memorial tier where 1% or less people plays it.

I have a really good idea for Intelion that devs will not even think about it lol, Intelions best item is choice specs and that item buffs his snipe so much it is crazy, 4k+ crits only exist because of that too, if you ever sniped a defender you know that your first snipe deals more damage than the second one, they could make him item dependent by nerfing his scalings / base damage / crit multiplier (any of these is good) to a point where he could only deal massive damage when he has the item up, it would add so much more depth to him while balancing him

Wow this was the most fun I've had in unite since Mew. Just tried this, don't have maxed emblems so my SP just got to 18. Not sure if it needs nerfed or not, most opponents are just too stupid to move around rather than walk in a straight line. First match, I kept getting annihilated by a Gardevoir. But I did put off some crazy snipes. But again because they weren't moving or just walking in a straight line away from me. Literally any CC just utterly destroys you.

Snipe shot dealing around 3k damage or more, i get it ignores sp def but that does give decidueye's spirit shackle a run for its money. The indicator to snipe shot is there but sometimes u don't even see the move itself when offscreen. That even happens to talonflame ult when offscreen and u won't even see the indicator of that move. The critical hit damage granted from the critical hit counters is technically the main issue.

His fell stinger is one of the best movement move of the game that's sure, but his snipe make him motionless. I'm really good with umbreon (I don't play mean look) and sniper inteleon is one of my favorite target (I know that umbreon is busted too tho).
I think the main problem is (like always) team work. If someone with good mobility chase inteleon regardless of the rest of the ennemy team, he becomes wayyyyy more managable. This game kind of prove my point, no ennemies were after you.
Reduce the damage of partially charged snipe shot and increase the cooldown of either snipe shot OR fell stinger. (preferably snipe shot cooldown)

Inteleon is my most played Pokémon & I put a lot of time into the liquidation build so I understand how to use the Pokémon but I can tell you that using sniper shot can be quite difficult to pull off sometimes. High Dmg but also requires some skill
MIght be a hot take, but I would nerf fell stinger/acro. Make the cooldowns longer, reduce the range of the grapple, only give 1 boosted, and start the cloaking for another instead of giving 2 (in stinger's case, acro can get two if you bounce off a enemy mon and 1 off a regular mob).
If you nerf the mobility and amount of crits it can do, you can still let it hit 2k's with autos and snipes, but less often if you need to be out of the fight for longer to charge them. It also means it doesn't get to kite melee's quite as hard and lets you punish with speedsters/all rounders.
I got 13 kills from inteoeon when my team had a good trevenant, whenever my hp dropped and i wanted to retreat, that trevenant pushed them back with horn leach and i just hide in bush and snipe shots just became one shots, one snipe enemy down
Well i do think inteleon basic attack should be nerfed but u can't complain if u come against a snipe shot inteleon pro player as ur enemy and after getting killed u said oh it is broken because those who don't know how to play it, they keep missing their snipe shot and just basic attack the whole time and eventually lost the match and we all know that inteleon is one of the most squishiest Pokemon and u can counter him in many ways and think about glaceon also its literally just pressing buttons
The snipe shot itself is op. If you ever play against it you notice how 1 snipe brings you down to half health as an all rounder and 1/3 hp as an attacker

They should make it fair by reducing the damage and making the hit box a bit bigger, if they nerf it its gonna be unplayable because the shots are pretty hard to hit. And maybe the crits on basic attacks can be reduced a bit also for unite also.

If they removed the 'Quick Scope' aspect of Snipe Shot (By making it take 0.5 seconds of charge up minimum before you can fire) and toned the critical damage back a *little*, it wouldn't be quite as egregious as it is right now.

You need to have a crit counter in order to deal damage and have to charge the shot and hit the shot... being rewarded for managing that its a good thing... maybe a damage nerf ? sure, but don't nerf the thing to the ground, Decidueye has the same thing with less drawbacks and i don't see people crying for it. Also you can nerf the basic attack damage as well, but those are two different things, Inteleon unite is ridiculous because of it.

They need to fix inteleon. Snipe shot is so unbelievably buggy right now because the projectile and laser can hide in tall grass for some reason. It moves so fast thay if the projectile goes invisible, it wont be visible until making contact, leaving the target crippled and incredibly confused where the invisible projectile came from.

Decidueye takes more skill if you think about it. Its squishier does less damage with the snipe had weaker autos has a worse unite move and has no mobillity unlike fell stinger

actually, spirit shackle is better. it has a ton more maneuverability. Since the addition of charging charm, its even better. Plus, with the wider hitbox, i can hit multiple enemies instead of just one. Also good to steal ray, where it goes through players unlike snipe shot.

Its Crit basics are so insanely ridiculous you can 1v1 auto attackers with just that. Fell stinger gives insane mobility for how spammable it is and also gives free crit charges. When an enemy gets close to deciduye you just pray that he doesn't land his cc as you use shadow sneak(12s cd btw mewtwo's psystrike has less cd) and espeed. Inteleon gets an uninterruptible move that pulls it to walls every 3s. And inteleon is one of the best attackers in early game. It's insane how this mon has been S tier since release.

They need to nerf it's crit multiplier. It's dumb for a character that has sure crits. This would make the Liquidation build even worse, so they should buff it while at it.
Also, Fell Stinger needs less range and/or +1s of CD. It's too spammable, so Inteleon always has escaping tools and crits.

A good nerf/ rework for intel I’d say is to make crit counters harder to gain and set a time limit on how long they last before expiring that way you have to juggle you resources to get the huge damage out put.
