From the last couple of events and their bugs, it seems Crytek doesn't playtest their own game. Otherwise I can't explain how such obvious OP things get into the game.
It's pretty disgusting for anyone the dabbles in the bow/crossbow. Even the throwing weapons are absolutely cracked with this trait. Gonna miss it for simple ease of use for retrieving stuff from AI.
this trait is the most fun I have had with the game in a long time. i hope it stay after the event ends. and i konw a lot of people are screaming its op. but in reality i see maybe one person a match running it not including myself. its a pretty niche perk only applying to 3-4 weapons and 3 tools. and the crossbow is the only weapon i would consider "meta"
as an xbow enjoyer the blademancer trade is insane :D especially with the steel bolt buff Looks like its also great at the bow, sadly i never managed to play with it
If they kept this as a perk but modified it to not work on players I would still use it 100% of the time. As someone that always uses retrievables this would make quality of life so much better.
would be fine on players if it took a second to pull and if the player started the bleed stoppage then no extra damage. so you could get the kill but it would take a lack of knowledge or extreme pressure to make it work.
Thoughts? I think it needs a minimum range distance to pull (ex. 50-150m). The distance pulls are not nearly as problematic and opens up more threatening beyond medium range combat, especially with the steel bolts change. The bow/crossbow already perform well in the short to medium, throwing knives are stronger on their own than ever, throwing axe is still fine and the throwing spear works again with blademancer but they already uber nerfed that one - so be it if you cant blademancer it and accept its chest/head only.
New to game, it's cant find any info about this trait and what tricks shooter means. Do I have to play as the tricker shooter hunter (as in this trait is exclusive to that single hunter) or Do I have to unlock the trick shooter troupe on another hunter to be able to equip the trait?
@REXNOR_TV i been binge watching your mastery video's! Weirdly enough not once even seen an event video so thanks for telling me about it because I wouldn't have found it for awhile
I wouldn't mind if this trait stays, with a few adjustments. Either don't do dmg to hunter's with pulling or a fix amount but very low like maybe 10. Normal pulling however should still do the damage! Also finally people playing the normal arrows and not just mortar you to death. That aside, I have yet to die from the pull dmg this event, Manyard S and Krag S and Shredder are more concerning to me.
Mabey make it so it doesnt do direct damage but it resets, and lengthens the stop bleed, and medkit timer. And aplies heavy bleed? Giving you more time to push them, and punish hunters that run in the open instead of staying close to cover.
I love using it, but I also think maybe it's a little too strong? Though at the same time, I'm not sure how I'd suggest a nerf to it either. There isn't a lot of room for counter play if you get hit and have to stop the bleed except to rely on them not having it or kill them before they can use darksight, provided you don't get outright one shot (though if they're playing like you, that's easier said than done). Maybe make the pullout slightly longer on hunters? Idk, but it is much less of a pain than Rampage + Infernal + Necro solo's back in Tide of Corruption, and you can still play around it if you know what you're dealing with. Wall bangs, ambushes, successful flanks, or long range. Truthfully, I'm much more concerned about the Silenced Maynard Sniper than this trait lol.

@@jimjimjim362 Maybe make it so you actually have to aim more instead of just pulling up darksight in the general direction. At the very least they should make it so berserker and this trait doesn't stack.
Yea, I havn't even been killed by it yet, and I play alot! They cry and say OP but the real problem is themselves. They lack the understanding of tactics, strategy, and counters because they refuse to use thier brain and actually think. It is not OP, but it does lower the skill gap, which i do not support. Arrow pulls used to be much more difficult, and by making it easier you have lowered the felling of acomplishment. When the chalenge is larger, the expenetialy larger the reward is.
@jimjimjim362 it is OP and I've never died to it but I've gotten so many kills I shouldn't have because of this triat. It is ridiculous that it does damage to enemy hunters. As long as you hit someone you can kill them it doesn't matter if they are behind cover 90 meters away and healing they still die because I can hit E
I really love the atmosphere of the event but shit like that makes me not wanting to play this. This doesnt feel like hunt anymore, also now they made it EVEN faster to recover a bar with those dumb syringes.
hate it, it's like a mid range shotgun, and i think it's overpowered. the only counter for this is running away to gain some ground and hope opponent will stick a head out, but if you've already lost friends in a fight there, you can just forget about them
Do they even bother with play testing this game before a patch? We need more broken skills and broken weapons, I am sure that it will work out fine. I was playing in a trio yesterday, we all had crossbows with this bullshit skill, I played 10-12 games and lost only two of them. Usually my win/loss ratio is about 50% in six star lobbies. It was super easy to hit people with a fast metal bolt, especially inside the compound. Most of my kills were from the pull out, like 80% of them. I've never seen more broken mechanics in this game, I hope they fix it quickly, because if it's going to be like this the whole event I'll rather pass. Also note how many people are running around with crossbows and bows at the moment. There are sometimes lobbies where almost every player has a crossbow or bow, this alone shows a lack of balance.
What do YOU think about the new "Blademancer" trait? Is it too strong? Let me know in the comments! 💪
You can clearly feel the influence of this call of duty manager. They should change the name "Call of Showdown"
Its fine if they add a defensive trait for the blade pull out akin to bulwark/explosive and bloodless/bleed or hornskin/blunt dmg
Your teammate can wait in dark sight with a bow as well and it insta-pulls the arrows.

💪 The bow is probably on par if not better than the crossbow in the current state of the game!
On top of that berserker doubles the pull damage, it's crazy
Yep, same way it’s always worked for arrow pulls!
@REXNOR_TV By the way, is pulling dmg the same for all types of projectiles and throwables or not?
as someone who mains throwing knives as my melee this trait is absolutely the GOAT
I feel that all the way. No more wasted time looking for stray knives or arrows.
💪
great video and big props to your friend for the great vibes and crazy good support gameplay!
Glad you enjoyed it! ❤️
I'm so glad you can turn on darksight boost now! It still feels very very wrong to use darksight while having boost and not wasting it.
Yep! Been asking for this for ages! 💪
Remember when I suggested this trait, but for spears and axes as well? I feel like I had a slight advantage influence with this trait haha
Can't say I remember, but it's a cool trait! 🤣
I feel like they should probably half the distance of blademancer but they thought levering needed a nerd instead lol
😅

Baldemort. XD Bow-nor. lmao Rex you're killin me
😂😂😂
You always make me want to use the bow and then when I do I remember I'm terrible at it. You make it look easy which it definitely isn't.
😂❤️

Wouldn’t be a bad change 👍
Since it's easy to retrieve it, then it's a great time to USE THE POISON ARROW. Pretty please, i love your videos
Poison arrows have bad hip fire accuracy which is why I don’t play them 👍 Thanks! ❤️😁
"pulled out of her...shes almost dead" lmfao
🤣
Love hearing a London accent on Hunt ❤
👍
Been waiting for this video!
😁❤️

Update: I died all day to steelbolt crossbow pulls 🙃
Seems like the opportunity players finally found out.
Yeaaaah, our hero used his mother tongue. I like it. Keep it up
😂
you might already know this but rachtaz found out that with berserker the pullout will do double damage
Always worked like that for arrow pulls, and this is the same mechanic 😊👍
@@REXNOR_TV Oh hell ya, ill keep that in mind for later matches after the event lol, hope they keep blademancer tho, love that perk

@@REXNOR_TV Yep! That is a fact.
thank you Rex

Gonna have a lot of fun of grumpy players that will say: "It's op" for this thing actually being used like in a 1/100 rounds XD

Anyway to buy it at start ?
It’s an event trait. You can get it for free at any supply point or at the circus! Check out my event update video 💪
I am convinced that this update was made with you in the devs mind :D
😂❤️
And it doesnt give away your distance when you pull. definitely op
👍
How do I unlock and activate it?
Event pledge boxes!
Blademancer is Good but with Berserker its just plain OP.. extra 70 damage from the pull with Berserker!
Yep! It’s the same as regular arrow pulling 💪
!addquote I do pull out a lot more than your typical person.
Did I say that? 🤣
@@REXNOR_TV you did!
The trait is so good…. Ridiculous!!!
💪😂
how you can have blademancer ?
Event trait. Check out my event video!
How do i get it
Event trait. Check out my event video!
They need to remove the pull out damage! From behind cover is too op to kill if hit.
😂
Asked for 10 more arrows each kind, Devs re NO.
Now its kinda endless...
I think first time ever poison arrows will seen in game?
?
I absolutely love the blade blademancer trait, I wish it was a permanent trait
Hell no it's trash men
💪
fun video :D

Hunt Bowdown
💪
Your videos led me to main bow. Now I am 5* and everyone I encounter is ping abusing or chinese. :C the cost of success on US WEST
🫤
I would take the ping hit to play on us east man.
SHHHHH no its not busted, it's good and we need it permanently in game.. don't tell crytek its broken.
Yes yes 😏
Get berserker with it and it's broken.
It’s the regular arrow pull mechanic. Berserker has always worked 😊
@REXNOR_TV Yeah, but now you can kill people at much longer range using berserker.
@ True 👍
An excellent trait for bush campers with bows...
😴😴😴
I sit in bushes all game and kill people its soo funny how they have no idea where the shots come from 🎉
is that your wife Rex? :O
Nope! It’s Misseos, one of my mods 💪
@REXNOR_TV ok then.. you better keep pulling out,....

those areows.

Recovering bars is necessary. I think most people like that addition 🤷
@REXNOR_TV why is it necessary? Why wasn't it necessary before?
I love using it. But it is horrible to die to. Not fun at all
😂
It’s not op at all. Just don’t get hit
