Wow, what an incredible insight into the sweet potato harvesting process! It's fascinating to see how both traditional cultivation methods and modern technology come together to produce such a delicious and nutritious crop. The precision and care in every step of the process are truly impressive!

Sweet potatoes 🍠 are delicious and healthy. I use them for cooking , baking and to make desserts. For me I just boil them, they taste good with coffee or tea.😋

I would like to know what they do with their waste products i.e
    1. Water used to wash the potatoes.
    2. Pulp from processed potatoes.

It was nicely filmed but I wish you explained a lot more. Captions stopped when you left the field and got to the distillery.

I never thought I could see plants actually tortured. I have known that Japanese can torture trees to become bonsai miniature, by starving them, brutalizing them and cutting off their roots regularly. But i have never seen potatoes being tortured, from cutting seed potatoes, to tormenting the saplings, and shoving them into plastic holes on the ground before coming back to tear off all the leaves and.... Just plant the poor thing and let them bear you fruits/tubers, instead of forcing those things into so may horrible stages.

That's nothing. I was a farm boy. You should see what we do to that poor silage! LOL

@@davidbwa i know David. i know..... but it does not make me feel any better. torture and needless abuse of a living being is never easy to witness.

I can see where you're coming from, but it's important to note that these techniques are designed to maximize yield and efficiency rather than harm the plants. Farmers use these methods to ensure the crops grow in optimal conditions and produce the best results, especially with modern agricultural demands. While it may look intense, the process aims to provide food for millions while making the most of the land available.

@@kiwigarden2024 "Optimal conditions," eh? Nazis also used these same methods to make sure that human race grew on optimal condition without the "untermensch" soiling their growth. pls do not whitewash their brutality. Food can be grown aplenty without those horror technics. Tens of millions of tons of potatoes are turned into industrial raw material each year, cause there are too much of them in the world. it is for money that those monsters do it, and also to satisfy their personal lust for torturing and killing. btw/ they also mass slaughter dolphins annually, turning the ocean water into blood. And what is that for again?
