I hear both of you. Once Laura gets under your skin, there is NO looking back. It is like her music gives off invisible highly addictive fumes when you play it!!! No doubt in my mind that she is singing in Heaven these days :-)
This is such a good Song from her - i can`t understand why it wasn`t a Hit! Maybe that`s the reason i never found that Song on any Greatest Hits CD from her!
I'm a forever fan of Laura Branigan. Her music was there for me in my youth and I am eternally grateful to hear her music that I couldn't afford to buy. I wiil be putting them on my Ipod as quickly as possible to have with me. She's in my heart and prayers. She and her music is one of my dearest beloved friends. God Bless Laura B and all your fans.
I love this song! It connected with me when I was very young and often in a 'dark lonely' place; all the many times that I kept replaying this song brought much catharsis into my life. It takes a very special person and talent for someone to be able to do that. What a blessing she was and still is to many of us out there. Laura Branigan Forever!!!
A great video of Laura. I totally agree with the last 4 comments, this is a great song especially when you listen closely to the words. I like TF1,s comment, Laura always looked good. She had such a variety of great songs from cranking tunes to dance music to heart melters, you choose, she sang it and sang it well. I guess I should have chosen Branifan1 as my webname.
"Hold Me", the song should be remixed, retaining original elements. Then it should be released to the Dance market on both CD-single and as Digital download. This song is too fabulous to be unknown by the general public! Then, it will become the major hit it deserves to be!
Great song! Thanks so much for posting this! I like Laura running to the drums at 2:52, its cool. I will buy Hold Me when it is re-released (hopefully this year) This is a great song, it gets a lot higher ranking in my book than it did on the airwaves. Nice comments everyone. We Love You Laura!
Laura had LOTS of different looks. I think her hair's kinda cute in this one. TF1 (who's not a big shoulder pad fan either ;) but thinks Laura ALWAYS looked great)
Cool comments LowC, thanks for the warning about the Barkless Dobermans! I will remember that! Heh heh lol :) That is Quite the look at 2:45 WOW is right! :) Laura was quite the Hottie :) But she was always a Lady, something the younger crowd can't seem too figure out how to be. We Love You Laura!
One of my favorite Branigan songs. I think having Spanish Eddie as the first single from the album was a mistake and even with this as a great second single didn't revive the album. It never lived up to Self Control released one year earlier.

Never understood why this wasn`t a Hit! I really love it! Hard to find it on CD - so many Greatest hits CD`s but always without this Song!

A rare example of the industry allowing the best song to go to the best singer.

Hold Me is a terrific album that just about went unnoticed.
Its part of her charm that she did her own thing and wasn't trained to do every little thing like most artists now.
i must correct myself, she did some EXCELLENT 80's move ! she taught me how to feel the rythm

Shes pure artist rip
Indeed I wish they would. It's the only one I don't have and although she is my fav artist the cheapest I have found this album is £50.
I miss you laura.
I bought mine for like $5 on ebay when I was in high school. I was pretty lucky I guess. Do you have all the songs? I can share.
how about her song "find me"? it's more sad and beautiful, can anyone uploaded it?
Dude she has a mullet and she's wearing shoulder pads... ?? :-) But I must say she was one of the best singers around.
