भले ही जयराम या उनकी पार्टी को लोकसभा चुनाव में आशातित सफलता नही मिली, लेकिन सभी सीटों पर हार के बावजूद अब झारखंड विधानसभा तक पहुंचने के लिए जयराम और उनके प्रत्याशी जिह तोड़ मेहनत में लगे हैं. इसी बीच जयराम महतो को लेकर बड़ी अपडेट सामने आई है ,अपडेट ये है कि अब जयराम एक नहीं बल्कि झारखंड के दो विधानसभा सीटों से अपनी किस्मत आजमाने वाले हैं. बीच में चर्चाएं तेज थी कि जयराम भाजपा के साथ मिलकर चुनाव लड़ेंगे और राज्य में तीसरा मोर्चा भी जयराम के नेतृत्व में ही तैयार होगा, लेकिन जयराम ने अब इन सभी अटकलों पर विराम लगाते हुए बताया है कि उनकी पार्टी विधानसभआ चुनाव में किसी भी अन्य पार्टी से समझौता बिलकुल नहीं करेगी.
