Syracuse formed an important city in the Mediterranean Sea after being built by the colonists of Corinth in ancient Greece in 734 C. The Apollo Temple and the Temple of Athena (later transformed into a cathedral) built at that time still exist today. Now Italy's important tourist town is rated as a "three-star tourism recommendation" (the highest level) by the Michelin Travel Guide.
锡拉库萨由古希腊科林斯的殖民者于前734年建後形成地中海的一个重要城市。那时建成的阿波罗神庙和雅典娜神庙（后来改造成大教堂）至今还存在。現在意大利重要的旅游城镇，被《米其林旅游指南》评为“三星级旅游推荐”（最高级别）。
