As luck would have it, they agreed to make the trip to Tel Aviv, and hired a fantastic crew of local cameramen and technicians. We are all very proud of the final result." Hey now! A Geoff Barradale fan! I was never a Vitamin Z fan and do not know how he got on the Parsons/Wolffson radar, but his voice and delivery was perfect for this song. Anyone else singing it is just wrong, like anyone trying to do any of the songs done by John Miles or Lenny Zakatek or Chris Rainbow. You can't touch 'em.
I think Chris Thompson also did a great job in 1994/1995. And then there's the version from Eric's Gaudi musical, which is obviously done in a very different style.

This is ok except for the singer. I am sure Geoff Barradale would have done it, he can't be that busy managing the Arctic Monkeys. Plus he is a Geoff. All Geoffs rock.
Hey now! A Geoff Barradale fan! I was never a Vitamin Z fan and do not know how he got on the Parsons/Wolffson radar, but his voice and delivery was perfect for this song. Anyone else singing it is just wrong, like anyone trying to do any of the songs done by John Miles or Lenny Zakatek or Chris Rainbow. You can't touch 'em.
I think Chris Thompson also did a great job in 1994/1995. And then there's the version from Eric's Gaudi musical, which is obviously done in a very different style.
I saw them a few days ago and thought it was perfect. Not the original lineup but close enough. Zero complaints from me! I'm still high from that show! 🎵🎊🔥🎉🎶
