If You've beaten Spelunky 2... how many hours do you have in it? 25 hours and I'm still at level 5
Got the normal ending 60 hrs in and got the secret one 90 hours in.

It took me 120 hours to get my first win. 200 to get the hard ending. I am currently at 320 and I am nowhere near mastering this game. I love it.
At about the 95~ hour mark, I cleared 7-99 for the first time. What a rewarding journey this game has been!
I beat the first ending at 100 hrs, and the second one at 120 hrs. I'm now at 235 hrs and I've gotten every achivement but five, none of which were gotten in multiplayer.

Great review, I have played a TON of this game. Your complaints are totally valid, missing controls and stunlocks are annoying. But it is an amazing game to git gud at.
It's been a while, I should pick this game up again!
@@IndieLad I'd highly recommend it, just a run or two a day and you'll start to slowly master it.

I'm considering buying Spelunky 2, but i want to know if the first is better (if you have played it) and if i would like ït since i love Gonner and other Rogue-Likes.
I haven't played the first one, but I plan to review it once my spelunky 2 sounds have healed lol.
From what I've seen, the second seems better - but take that with a grain of salt!

The first one is a more... "Pure" experience. In theme and gameplay, and there are a lot of people that really fell in love with the first. However the second is MUCH more polished. As a new comer the only difference is the first game is actually easier. But I'd argue the 2nd is the better game.
