I think I realised Capitano's plan. He wants to force Ronova into a tight spot - he wants to be the one punished by using her powers instead of Mavuika because then Ronova would have to decide whether he must die, or he stays with the immortality curse which are both a consequence of her powers. It will also keep Mavuika alive. I think by he either hopes to humiliate her or force her to end his misery (and we know it is possible to lift the curse since Clothar died). It also explains why Mavuuka said he wants the Gnosis for other reasons than the Tsaritsa. I am almost sure all of his story leads to that point.

2:27:25 About mimics, there is a natlan world quest where you find a warrior that help us fight abyss in ochkanatlan, but in the end it turns out he was a mimic of a warrior that died under rock fall. And after he understand that he is a mimic then he attack us and we kill him.

When we ge to ochkanatlan we kill 4 or 5 mimics and "mimic warrior" help us every time, but in the end we find warriors body and mimic go crazy.
One of the weird Simulanka parallels I noticed in Natlan is those random areas where you have to return color to them? It feels like there should be something else you can do with them too but so far I haven't been able to figure it out.
@@cortinasmiguel4573 Yeah I know about that. That's a different puzzle. With this one there are areas rendered completely colorless and you need to return the color to them. I did that part already but there are also broken pieces of something there that register as interactable with the elemental sight but that you can't actually do anything with as far as I can tell.

On the topic of Faruzan towards the end on the stream, I'm pretty sure time did pass for her it's just that her body was in a stasis. So in her mind she actually has lived for 100 years, those were just added to her lifespan. But as ashikai said, she should continue to age normally from now on.
Just a personal thought from me - if we don't go to Snezhnaya proper in 6.x, that DOES NOT mean the Archon quest takes a break. Hear me out - what if, as Chapter 6 is titled "Everwinter without Mercy" and we still don't have "Truth Amongst the Pages of Purana" (as even the Chinese text is different for it, so it's NOT a retranslation unless they did it for ALL languages) that the Fatui launch the war that has been increasingly foreshadowed since Signora's death (remember her threat "Your precious Inazuma shall burn!"), and burning of the Irminusl in Sumeru. After all, Stuzha does mean "freezing cold" and it would make sense for the Fatui to bring the bitter cold of their plans to the rest of the nations without mercy, thus having all the new areas, but also tackling Chapter 6.

@@RyuRyoka13 It's retconned because - dottores clones appear in the irminsul vision, but they were erased in sumeru act 5 - they're talking about the experiment of blasphemy (turning scara into a god), further confirming this vision took place before sumeru act 1, yet she never mentioned it to us when we met her - the description of lazzo says "collei, who didn't have dreams in a long time, has had strange visions during her midday nap" This whole passage doesn't make sense, since in sumeru act 2, we found out the Akasha is the thing stealing the dreams from sumeru's people, yet collei lives in gandharva ville and never wore one, so it doesn't make sense that this is her first dream in a long time This means this whole trailer was created before they finished writing sumeru's story. So certain details are inaccurate, and since they left the collei vision and the burning Irminsul out of the ingame story, it can't happen anymore due to timeline inconsistencies.

I had theorized that the ball game in the first Natlan trailer would replace the combat, but I had theorized that it would’ve happened earlier to keep fueling the flames without going into the building night kingdom since the wayob’s were corrupted. And at that time I thought Mavuika was going to open the tournament to outsiders, since they specifically stated previously that Traveler could not compete, and Mavuika would challenge Capitano to compete with the gnosis on the line, but use his inclusion to generate more flames for Natlan. But I gave up on that idea when it didn’t happen and the story went a different direction.

And I thought of the Journey To The West story with the Monkey King. In that story there is a white horse companion that is actually a dragon in horse form.

And Mavuika was in the sacred flames. I think she was still conscious of the outside world through the wayobs in some sense, or can look back in time to some extent. But it’s hard to say.
All the knowledge from the Pyro archon gets handed down to the next one. So I'm sure Citlali was causing a enough of a ruckus 100 years ago to be included in that passing of information

My problem with Star Rail story telling versus Genshin or ZZZ is they sideline the translator for the player to have you play as people who know the world, know how things work, and use as much terminology as possible to make my eyes glaze over. Also the walls of text in Simulated Universe...my ADHD don't got time for that.
Simulated Universe is really an inefficient way to communicate lore like it basically extends the time of the SU cycle by dropping a whole text wall before I can progress.
I really enjoy all those walls of text SimU gives us. Even if 95% of it won't be relevant in the story any time soon, it paints a nice picture in my head about life in the universe
SU / DU wall of text lore feels like taking genshin's long important world quests, and removing all the good parts off it, leaving us with texts, more texts, and vaguely related combat. It made the lore shown there about as skippable as lores from books, but at least books don't show up in your face when you're fighting an oversized bug for pulls.
The US is a machine that simulates the past of the universe as closely as possible. It makes sense that the information is so confusing and enormous, after all, we are talking about millions of years of events who have been affected by various entities that aim to destroy history infos, like Mythus (the Enigmata and THEY followers), Aha (the Elation), the IPC itself, Polka of the Genius Society's, etc. And the US itself is affected by the passive power of the Aeons, which confuses the system even more. It would be a terrible worldbuilding mistake to digest information (like Genshin does), taking into account that HSR is a game with a more serious narrative and the scale of the events are much larger and more impactful because of how big the scope of this game lore is.
On the "People in China killing cats because of Scara" thing. Yes, the insane levels of Scara-hate is very real, though I will add that in the grand scheme of things, the level of hate for a fictional character is not exceptional in China. That said, last time I checked, it was a singular incident of the cat situation, yes it happened, but it was a single person who killed a single cat (who was swifty doxxed afterwards). I dunno how the claim became a group of Scara haters across China just wandering around killing cats. (The pun was unintentional) Also, it wasn't just "Chinese Incels" hating on Scara. Infamously, a few Scara mains groups in China were just generally hostile towards other character mains. One of these conflicts you could find is a post on Reddit for would be the Xiao-Scara mains beef. The whole thing was just a mess. Honestly, I've wondered if anyone who's not sensational with covering these things has ever done a breakdown of the whole situation, whether on YT or Bilibili.

Genshin is in totally different universe that is isolated from honkai universe. All those seemingly connections we have now are mostly Easter eggs by nature. And the hypothesis that they share a universe, in my opinion, really kills the fun we are having from Genshin lore
Someone didn't do Honkai Impact 3rd Nagazora chapter it seems 😂. For your information, in that chapter a certain thing happens and Otto Apocalypse is able to see through multiple worlds at the same time the main world that he saw on his monitor screen was Teyvat and Dvalin. It was shown that early to make the connection solid that Teyvat is definitely connected to the Imaginary Tree. Also Mavuika at the end of Archon Quest mentions power from beyond the world hinting at Skirk's power meaning Abyssal/Quantum power, all I will say is please don't act like this, Genshin and Star Rail aren't their own games they have always been part of the Honkaiverse since the beginning

Plus capitano also has dragon stuff on his design and he has that heart too and hearts seem to be important to dragons... Idk, I didn't really think about this too deeply before. I only tried to make more concrete connections while writing this comment. Maybe i misheard the dragon voice (since it also sounds like Xbalanque as that one comment said) but somehow, I really thought Capitano being connected to that dragon would be one of the popular predictions for 5.3 so I was surprised it didn't come up in the discussion of Capitano's role this patch. Even if he doesn't end up being directly connected to that dragon, maybe we'll still end up fighting him? He seems dead set on kind of dying (pun intended). Genshin has a thing with their playable skeletons and non playable ones for their models, it's one of the reasons as to why theres a set for npcs and a set for playable characters and Capitano is 2 heads taller than the tall male model and so far the people of Genshin have been very adamant into not wanting to add more sizes for playable models. Scaramouche since the beginning had a Short male playable model and skeleton, Tartaglia too, Arlecchino too, Dottore also has one so he's more likely to be playable than Capitano, and for the look of things Sandrone, Pantalone and Columbina can also have playable sizes. So thus far Capitano is not going to be playable for any foreseeable update, not even Snezhnaya 😢😢😢 things could change but it seems that in terms of what they have planned for the Harbingers it seems that they made their mind into what they want to do with them since "winter's night lazzo".

1:11:00 I agree with the analogy, but I would say that HSR is a game that appeals more to those who love lore, because there we have thousands of options to theorize, study and learn more about this universe. For those who have played Genshin since the beginning (and love following lore) know how agonizing it is to wait an entire year for a Dains Quest (which only has 1 per nation arc cycle 😢) and get there and they never answer our questions and only add more questions. This is annoying, and after 4 years of neglect it tires us, because we know that the lore is good and huge, but (for a exemple) we still had to wait 3 years to be introduced to a Seelie (Nabu Malikata, a queen seelie❕) and we had almost no relevant information for us who are thirsty for development in the lore (and in our theories) and this is revolting, because it seems that we are stagnant doing thousands of quests and at least 80% are irrelevant (lore wise). And it is exactly for this reason that I, a person who loves to read, theorize and learn about the lore of a universe that I love, feel better served with the "banquet" that HSR proposes. And by the way, I must add that the writers on the Honkai team are doing a better job than Natlan and Fontaine team's (I love Fontaine, but it's disappointing to see impactful things happening and not have relevance in future AQ's). PS: The Traveler is the worst protagonist in Hoyoverse, the writing and development of this character is disgusting.

I was thinking because Childe's Foul Legacy Transformation is those 2 elements and since she was his teacher maybe she taught him that? Also the Whale fight uses Hydro and Electro elements in the fight and that is his Master's pet. So maybe those are the 2 elements The Foul and his disciples use?

you can actually pick two colors at once and it should mix and give you a new color like blue+ red= purple

After all, Stuzha does mean "freezing cold" and it would make sense for the Fatui to bring the bitter cold of their plans to the rest of the nations without mercy, thus having all the new areas, but also tackling Chapter 6.

This whole passage doesn't make sense, since in sumeru act 2, we found out the Akasha is the thing stealing the dreams from sumeru's people, yet collei lives in gandharva ville and never wore one, so it doesn't make sense that this is her first dream in a long time
This means this whole trailer was created before they finished writing sumeru's story. So certain details are inaccurate, and since they left the collei vision and the burning Irminsul out of the ingame story, it can't happen anymore due to timeline inconsistencies.

I had theorized that the ball game in the first Natlan trailer would replace the combat, but I had theorized that it would’ve happened earlier to keep fueling the flames without going into the building night kingdom since the wayob’s were corrupted. And at that time I thought Mavuika was going to open the tournament to outsiders, since they specifically stated previously that Traveler could not compete, and Mavuika would challenge Capitano to compete with the gnosis on the line, but use his inclusion to generate more flames for Natlan. But I gave up on that idea when it didn’t happen and the story went a different direction.

@ashikai For the white horse, I had thought it may be connected to the Bamboo forest book with the mysterious woman with Golden Eyes. The story strongly implies she is a horse spirit or adepti. And I thought of the Journey To The West story with the Monkey King. In that story there is a white horse companion that is actually a dragon in horse form.

And Mavuika was in the sacred flames. I think she was still conscious of the outside world through the wayobs in some sense, or can look back in time to some extent. But it’s hard to say.
All the knowledge from the Pyro archon gets handed down to the next one. So I'm sure Citlali was causing a enough of a ruckus 100 years ago to be included in that passing of information

My problem with Star Rail story telling versus Genshin or ZZZ is they sideline the translator for the player to have you play as people who know the world, know how things work, and use as much terminology as possible to make my eyes glaze over.
Also the walls of text in Simulated Universe...my ADHD don't got time for that.
Simulated Universe is really an inefficient way to communicate lore like it basically extends the time of the SU cycle by dropping a whole text wall before I can progress.
I really enjoy all those walls of text SimU gives us. Even if 95% of it won't be relevant in the story any time soon, it paints a nice picture in my head about life in the universe

SU / DU wall of text lore feels like taking genshin's long important world quests, and removing all the good parts off it, leaving us with texts, more texts, and vaguely related combat. It made the lore shown there about as skippable as lores from books, but at least books don't show up in your face when you're fighting an oversized bug for pulls.
The US is a machine that simulates the past of the universe as closely as possible. It makes sense that the information is so confusing and enormous, after all, we are talking about millions of years of events who have been affected by various entities that aim to destroy history infos, like Mythus (the Enigmata and THEY followers), Aha (the Elation), the IPC itself, Polka of the Genius Society's, etc.
And the US itself is affected by the passive power of the Aeons, which confuses the system even more. It would be a terrible worldbuilding mistake to digest information (like Genshin does), taking into account that HSR is a game with a more serious narrative and the scale of the events are much larger and more impactful because of how big the scope of this game lore is.

Yes, the insane levels of Scara-hate is very real, though I will add that in the grand scheme of things, the level of hate for a fictional character is not exceptional in China.
That said, last time I checked, it was a singular incident of the cat situation, yes it happened, but it was a single person who killed a single cat (who was swifty doxxed afterwards). I dunno how the claim became a group of Scara haters across China just wandering around killing cats. (The pun was unintentional)
Also, it wasn't just "Chinese Incels" hating on Scara. Infamously, a few Scara mains groups in China were just generally hostile towards other character mains. One of these conflicts you could find is a post on Reddit for would be the Xiao-Scara mains beef.

That just makes genshin less appealing than it currently is. Genshin doesn't need to rely on this kind of world building to build up tension.
Someone didn't do Honkai Impact 3rd Nagazora chapter it seems 😂. For your information, in that chapter a certain thing happens and Otto Apocalypse is able to see through multiple worlds at the same time the main world that he saw on his monitor screen was Teyvat and Dvalin. It was shown that early to make the connection solid that Teyvat is definitely connected to the Imaginary Tree. Also Mavuika at the end of Archon Quest mentions power from beyond the world hinting at Skirk's power meaning Abyssal/Quantum power, all I will say is please don't act like this, Genshin and Star Rail aren't their own games they have always been part of the Honkaiverse since the beginning

He's shown in the trailer with souls around him saying he's going to bring them(?) to the promised place. Ororon says he doesn't sleep. There's that npc guy we keep meeting and fight alongside with in ochkanatlan but end up fighting against in the end. There's also the corrupted Rimac in the Xilonen tribe quest book. Plus capitano also has dragon stuff on his design and he has that heart too and hearts seem to be important to dragons...
Idk, I didn't really think about this too deeply before. I only tried to make more concrete connections while writing this comment. Maybe i misheard the dragon voice (since it also sounds like Xbalanque as that one comment said) but somehow, I really thought Capitano being connected to that dragon would be one of the popular predictions for 5.3 so I was surprised it didn't come up in the discussion of Capitano's role this patch. Even if he doesn't end up being directly connected to that dragon, maybe we'll still end up fighting him? He seems dead set on kind of dying (pun intended). Or well, maybe not really dying, but ending things, whatever form that ending may take.

I suddenly remembered that I thought this while watching the livestream so I checked and the camera angle of Capitano swinging his sword fighting Mavuika in the 5.0 trailer is similar to the angle when the dragon swings his sword in the 5.3 trailer. Their lines were also kind of similar. Even if we don't get dragon!Capitano though, I thought it was still a nice detail.

1:31:03 since I saw Capitano's Model I said: the skeleton and mesh for him is not a playable one, same with LaSignora. Genshin has a thing with their playable skeletons and non playable ones for their models, it's one of the reasons as to why theres a set for npcs and a set for playable characters and Capitano is 2 heads taller than the tall male model and so far the people of Genshin have been very adamant into not wanting to add more sizes for playable models. Scaramouche since the beginning had a Short male playable model and skeleton, Tartaglia too, Arlecchino too, Dottore also has one so he's more likely to be playable than Capitano, and for the look of things Sandrone, Pantalone and Columbina can also have playable sizes. So thus far Capitano is not going to be playable for any foreseeable update, not even Snezhnaya 😢😢😢 things could change but it seems that in terms of what they have planned for the Harbingers it seems that they made their mind into what they want to do with them since "winter's night lazzo".

1:11:00 I agree with the analogy, but I would say that HSR is a game that appeals more to those who love lore, because there we have thousands of options to theorize, study and learn more about this universe. For those who have played Genshin since the beginning (and love following lore) know how agonizing it is to wait an entire year for a Dains Quest (which only has 1 per nation arc cycle 😢) and get there and they never answer our questions and only add more questions. This is annoying, and after 4 years of neglect it tires us, because we know that the lore is good and huge, but (for a exemple) we still had to wait 3 years to be introduced to a Seelie (Nabu Malikata, a queen seelie❕) and we had almost no relevant information for us who are thirsty for development in the lore (and in our theories) and this is revolting, because it seems that we are stagnant doing thousands of quests and at least 80% are irrelevant (lore wise).
And it is exactly for this reason that I, a person who loves to read, theorize and learn about the lore of a universe that I love, feel better served with the "banquet" that HSR proposes. And by the way, I must add that the writers on the Honkai team are doing a better job than Natlan and Fontaine team's (I love Fontaine, but it's disappointing to see impactful things happening and not have relevance in future AQ's).
PS: The Traveler is the worst protagonist in Hoyoverse, the writing and development of this character is disgusting.

I was thinking because Childe's Foul Legacy Transformation is those 2 elements and since she was his teacher maybe she taught him that? Also the Whale fight uses Hydro and Electro elements in the fight and that is his Master's pet. So maybe those are the 2 elements The Foul and his disciples use?
