Hey GOAT, I am a big cube enthusiast from argentina, I average: 3x3: 14.00 4x4: 48.00 5x5: 1:27.00 6x6: 2:50.00 7x7: 4:40.00 I DONT KNOW how to lower my times, I am "stuck" for almost 6 months now. What would you say to someone in my situation? I really want to get better at 6x6 and 7x7, and also it's not like I cannot get better in general, I bought a clock 8 days ago and I'm already averaging 14 seconds with a 10.11 pb. I'm watching your videos but most of the intermediate techniques are second nature to me, maybe I´m turning too slow? How did you started turning so fast?
@@daferade You should realize how many pauses you do. If you are efficient getting very good at 7x7 should only require a bit more than 4tps which is very little. So reducing pauses is the main thing to focus on. If your solutions are already good the next thing to focus on should be reducing redundant moves like doing U moves to search for pieces. When your solutions feels comfortable you can focus on lookahead. To increase lookahead in edges actively looking for pieces might be helpful until you just see them without actually looking at them. Also based on what you average you probably don't do a lot of solves. Doing solves helps a ton. And based on your 3x3 avg I suggest you learn OLL and PLL and L2E algorithms. Keep grinding boss
@Mark-ww1vf I cube since 2014, averaging 25 solves a day 6x6 and 7x7 combined. (with my working hours is pretty difficult) I really appreciate that you took the time to answer! I'm almost full OLL and I am full PLL right now. Do you recommend learning specific OLL/PLL algorithms for big cubes? Thanks!!!
How do I improve at big cubes? Currently averaging high 50s on 4x4, 1:45 on 5x5, 4:20 on 6x6 and 8+ on 7x7. No matter how many solves I do I just can’t seem to lower my times. I average high 11 on 3x3 so I know my big cube times are absolutely trash
@@banditfishing1558 I think there are multiple things. Of course the things to improve are movecount and tps. So look at example solves of cubers faster than you to see what they do because they most likely have a lower movecount than you. Playing around with the cube and trying creative solutions especially in centers also helps a ton. To increase tps in big cubes you mostly wanna decrease your pauses because you cannot turn as fast as on a 3x3 or 2x2 etc. To do that i only do regular speed solves because slow solves are boring. I think you drastically underestimate the amount of solves you should do, there are days where I do over 70 7x7 solves. Of course you cannot do that because it would take too much time if you avg 8 minutes. To increase the tps potential you obviously need good hardware, I recommend the aofu wrm, picube core mag aofu wrm, meilong v2m or picube core mag meilong v2m. And of course you pair up these cubes with lubes to improve them even more.
Do you know any 4x4 algs. I just learned the 4x4 tutorial from Jperm a frew days ago and now I can solve it in 3 mins. I only have the OLL and PLL alg sheet where do I find algs for other steps ❤
The stages before 3x3 stage usually don't use specific algs, at least I don't, it is mostly intuitive. The only algs you really need are oll parity and pll parity.
sorry for the comment spam lmao but which aochuang do you like better, the triple track or the double track? I trust your opinion since you are a seasoned 5x5 solver
Nice Solves bro👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻, me, in 4:26 sec i solve only a 5x5😅😅
wtf this is actually fast af
that 6x6 solve was so clean 😮
@TomasFreireSC lucky
This is actually insane

@daferade algs that mostly use RUF moves are very good

You can do it for sub 4:20. I believe in you.

What did you do to become so good at edges? Slowsolve? Your lookahead on edges are crazy!

fr tho my edges have always been better compared to centers
I mean... Good for you then😂
Bro my PB on 7x7 is literally 4:36. How can you do every event in the time it takes me to do 1
Turn fast and pause less, i have probably done a lot lot more solves than you, so enough time to improve
Legend thank you mate
