Thank you for this. We usually go to Playa Del Carmen and are not afraid to walk around day or night. We were thinking about switching it up and trying Cabo. There have been news reports of murders in the area. We aren’t afraid per se but just doing research. Thanks for sharing your experience.

It's funny you say that because I've read in the news that Playa del Carmen is a place to visit with caution, LOL. I think it's just people without proper knowledge blowing things out of proportion. Thanks for watching!

Hello Tamarr!! Thank you for sharing that walking tour!! It looks awesome!!
At no point did I remotely fear for your life hehehehe.
We are in Palm Springs currently; finishing up the condo prep as the first guests arrive in about a week.
I dropped my boss's plane off this last week. He had forwarded me an article about the new procedures about flying into Mexico. So, when the plane is finished, I will re-engage him to see when and where they are thinking! Our last talk was Loretto.
    Have a great weekend

Hey buddy! Glad you enjoyed the walking tour! Don't worry, my life insurance is up to date. Happy you weren’t fearful for my life LOL. Condo prep sounds like fun. I hope your guests don't arrive to find you still deciding on the perfect throw pillows 😊.
      Have a fabulous weekend!

Nice walking tour! Our last trip in July , after spending 5 days in Cerritos and Todos Santos, we did a day trip to Cabo. Fun change of pace and to to hit the shops and some lunch but we were all ready to get back to Cerritos and in the water. Place is special!

I’ve been to Cabo many times. It’s like any American City. During the day it’s fine but at night you should go with more than one.

I'm visiting Cabo right now but lived here for 4 years. I've walked on all the streets you are walking and felt totally safe. However, I wouldn't walk around at night by myself just like I wouldn't walk around a lot of places in US after dark. Use common sense!

Thank you for your comment! We completely agree. Using common sense and being aware of your surroundings is always important, no matter where you are. Enjoy your time in Cabo!

Would you recommend to negotiate for tours in the marina or should you book at the resort?

I definitely recommend negotiating at the marina. We did that about a month ago with success.

Too bad that you couldn't interview anyone, but you yourself proved that you could walk around safely even while you were recording so it wasn't a total wash. I had expected, as you did, that there would be throngs of people, I wonder where they are?

I think my wife would be terrified to even go to Mexico much less walk around there trying to find someone to talk with. Me, I talk to everyone. Love the look at Cabo.

Real estate isn’t worth it when the infrastructure is so poor
