@@myname-mz3lo idk i just think he lets himself go and shows his true colors. i dont think theres a lack of experience. i see where youre coming from and i agree with you in most cases, but to me it seems that jacob isnt going to go down the same path simply because the way he expresses his true self through music is by not being to much of a critic and taking every idea he comes up with.
@@myname-mz3lo also saying stuff like that makes it seem like you're saying jacob doesnt put much thought into his stylistic choices or where his dicography is moving, which i find very odd seeing as jacob is (from what i can understand) a person who puts alot of thought into everything he does.

You know, his music isn’t necessarily my style, but as a producer and musician and all around music creator, the dude really is incredibly talented. Everything he does, he does extremely well. Even the speed with which he navigates through Logic is impressive.

My mum was a musician and I grew up around music, play multiple instruments and always felt like music was my reason for being here. My dad was a soldier and sadly I followed in his footsteps rather than my mums and ended up hurt and after being medically discharged, back in the U.K., depressed and addicted to drugs. I’ve been ignoring the keyboards, imac with logic, maschine, thousands worth of software including komplete ultimate etc but this has inspired me to get back into making music. Thank you.

OH MY GOD, when he just sped it up 10:40 !! How does just that change the feeling so much, wtf?
Familiar relationships in a new context!
Because he's speeding it up with Varispeed, which means that the song not only changes tempo but also key. Changing key will always drastically affect the "feel" of the song.
Actually the varispeed is set to 5.6 steps, so it's transposing to somewhere between G and Ab..Very powerful! And it seems like he's not starting out at 440Hz concert pitch after all. It's 10cents below. So the varispeed 5.60steps leads pretty much exactly to half sharp g. The B-section is transposed 4 halfsteps below to E half flat.at 18:51 (not the exact key from the start).
