Tom! I tried replying to the donation you sent through PayPal but it won't let me message you. Just want to thank you for the contribution mate.. very generous of you. Thank you 🙏
Enjoyed the bull fights. They all looked young but spirited.. Nice seeing some of the familys at community center. Hard to choose when you have family to feed. Any work when you can. ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
Todd, That bullfight you captured spontaneously at the massive festival some weeks was my absolute first view of unedited bull fighting from anywhere - just blew me away! Now again on this one, mate! Stelar coverage, my good man! I’m so looking forward to slow travel through that amazing country, Todd, and my desire to do so is in part due to mostly yours and Neenie’s coverage of it, but also my own experiences of a remote Isan Khon Kaen village for 10 days in 2019. The bit of research I’ve done suggests it’s really just political borders that separate these people that are far more the same than say we Canadians and the Americans. Such lovely friendly people the Isan/ Lao peoples! Thanks for all you and Neenie do mate - God speed! D🇨🇦
When they bring the bulls close to each other and lock heads, its bascailly the same as two strangers walking by in opposite direction and they bump shoulders. That when the fight starts.
Thank you very much for the nice video, the scene of running away from running bull just made me think of my kid age almost 30 year ago running with nothing to care, except saving my own life from bull.
Hi Todd and the gang, great vlog as always. The bull fights were the best so far, much better than the ones at the New Year Celebration. The people at the village hall were all so appreciative of the gifts that they were given, as always. I loved your descriptions of the bulls "White arse" and "Shitty Arse". 🙂I guess that the guy with the bucket and flannel who wipes the bull's horns does this to ensure that there is fair play and that the horns have not been smeared with anything that may cause harm. Thanks for sharing and may God Bless you all always. 😀❤🙏
I hope that my little contribution will help with food and clothes on your next trip. I do enjoy the videos as it gives me an insight that I would not otherwise see. Keep up the great work that you and Neenee do. Take care and stay well.
Aahhh.. that was you! Thank you! Tried sending you a msg on Paypal but you must have your settings for no messages, so I pinned a comment here at the top hoping you would see it. From the same neck of the woods as I.. Cheers mate, much appreciated 😉👍
Great video. Bulls are well looked after , obviously the guys take much pride in their animals. Loved your commentary, very descriptive 😅. Keep up the good work.
"Hello from USA" Hey Todd, if you're in PHA LAVEC you're in the same area near my last home before my parents migrated to the U.S. in the late 70s :( Wow! Amazing video :) 👍😮
Hi Todd, long time watcher and thumbs upper, first time commenting. LOVE your adventures and charity efforts. Question 😬 I'm thinking of taking the train from Vientiane > Vang Vieng > Luang Prubang. Is it worth travelling further north by rail? I don't have a Troupie. 😊
For sure it is! Nong Khiaw is only 3 hours further north by minivan. Your hotel/guesthouse in LP can organize this for you and have you picked up. Beautiful village.. from there catch a riverboat up to Muang Ngoi. Guaranteed you'll love it 👌
There'd be very few videos on RUclips if we were to only "reference" every little sensitivity.. and it's not just cultural, it's natural. Bulls do this with or without humans present.
Get a grip! Nobody was pleading.. we were giving! How can they be there gambling when the poor we were helping were at the Nai Bans office. Not real bright 😏

Love your commentary on the bull fight a bit of a hidden talent 🤔

Oh.. and thanks for commenting 😁👍
hi guys
The final match looked like a draw. 👍🏻
It bullfighting at different level. A little more civilized. What is the object of this contest. The winner and loser ? All the best. Jim and Harriet
Bulls showing their dominance. The weaker of the 2 will turn and run when he knows he is bested. These bulls are very well taken care of Jim. 👌😉
The Bull fights were a disgrace and there was no need to showcase.Yes it might be a cultural thing but a reference would have sufficed.

Pleading poverty...but have money to gamble on blood sports.!

Todd there is always a negative mind around. Keep up the good work.
