@@seattlemicroscopedentist8626 thanks doctor Is it celling mout safe and strong for the scope....! I'm planning to go for celling mount for my extaro 300 doctor.. Need your further suggestions doctor regarding celling mount....
@@k.rdentalhospitaldindigul4506 Hey there. Yes, they are very safe IF they are installed correctly. What type of scope are you planning to install? Each company has specific brackets to use for ceiling mount. In a couple of instances I have had to have an engineer come in and look at the site and give recommendations. If it is not installed correctly, a couple of things can happen.. 1. it could drop out of the ceiling (not good...ive had it happen) 2. it picks up vibrations of adjacent heating ducts/air conditioning units.
I no longer do root canals... its a choice. My endodontics is fantastic! I do however occasionally have to go into canals for developing post spaces etc. If i get a good case to show you I will document it.

@@seattlemicroscopedentist8626 PERHAPS try to demo a MORA - I have been using Zeiss for about 10 years (first pico, now extaro) - I couldn't work without MORA - my extaro has both the doc port (beam splitter) and the MORA interface. I thought only endodontists used scopes without MORA, because they don't need to change their line of sight much since they only make access preps.
Well done doc! Great video with a ton of helpful info!
Brandon Walker thank you Brandon! Glad you found it helpful.

Where is the next video? :)
slowly but surely.. been a bit busy with patient care.
What is the price in dollars
depends on the microscope type, manufacturer and what you chose for accessories. I purchased one used for $12K and new can be upwards of $60K ...
@@seattlemicroscopedentist8626 ls it your extaro is used one you purchased $12000...
@@k.rdentalhospitaldindigul4506 😂 😂... no. that was an old used pico
Doctor in your extaro
Don’t you have mora interface.!
you are correct - i do not on this scope... such a great tool for ergonomics if you have the space and ability to add it.
unfortunately, I do not have a mora interface. It interfered with my beam splitter for my camera system. Not ideal but I manage. Thanks for asking.
