I’ve used this knife for 2 years now. No problems at all. I do pro lawn and landscape work. This knife does it all, from cutting trimmer line and plastic pots to branches and weed roots. Even bagged a few moles and a snake. The sheath is great it retains the blade and doesn’t jam-up. Made a little Velcro retainer strap to wear it as a boot knife. I would give it an 8.5.

Guess I'll have to buy one now. I have a Milwaukee fastback folding utility knife with the locking screwdriver. I modified the retention for the phillips head/flathead reversible bit. I changed it from a wire thing that I didn't really like to magnet epoxied in the bottom. It works great and I have beaten it up thoroughly. I carry it just about every day. Milwaukee makes surprisingly good knives. Who knew?

I had been looking at this knife for a while too, so I got one about year and a half ago. Wasn't thrilled with the sheath, but it is not unusual to have a great knife come with a so-so sheath. Love the sharpness and balance and light weight. I didn't test with a ferro rod because I'm more interested in it's use as a low cost fighting knife. Thank you for the fire test! Mine was under 20 bucks at the time. Inflation! Milwaukee Tools has a number of knives that are of interest outside their intended use.

Taiwan is a major point of strategic military significance to China in the same fashion Hawaii is to the United States. Imagine if China made the same claims about Hawaii. Personally, I would like Taiwan to have independence but the reality is China will not let that happen. Finally, that knife should be made in the U.S.A.

Yes. I've had mine for a couple years now...I saw it on sale at Home Depot... I was originally looking for a sheath I could modify for holding my chisel in my tool belt which was just too wide... So the knife and sheath now reside on one of bags.
I thought the same thing a good cheap knife for miscellaneous duties.

Funny story, being a cutlery guy for many decades, I had to purchase one also, just because. No comments, just added it to the collection.

These knives are great I literally use it every single day at work. $15 at my supply house. Holds an edge well and is incredibly tough. Needed to be sharpened before i used it because the blade was just rough sharpened from the factory. It was def still sharp out of the package and ready to go im just picky lol

Well this is REFRESHING! It is great to see a good review on a name that we know, made well and doesn't cost $200 or more. It is easy to get hung up on the name brands, the types of steel, the handles... And they are all high cost $$$. And then I am reluctant to use the thing or get it dirty because of what I spent on it. I am happy to see a great knife that I can take everywhere, get it dirty, wash it off, and it's ready to go again. Boom! Thanks for the informative demo and info about the fully-encased full tang. After seeing this review, I am going to get one today. Thanks!

That would make a good work knife for a diver with the two different blades in one

I bought one of those quiet a few years ago and the package claimed it to be for working thin sheet metal(ductwork) ,an unusual combination of light weight and toughness not seen often.

I bought one of these at our Home Depot last year for the same reason. What I like about it is that it's tough, sharp, and if I lose it or it gets stolen, it's easy to replace. Awesome knife.
