Want some sweet potato eat some...Want some rice have some! But just remember everything in moderation. I honestly think you are stunning and your figure is amazing❤
i agree sooo much!!! somedays I eat a lot (when I go out, when there are parties etc) or I crave unhealthy food. i do not forbid myself that. but i would say 85% of the time I eat healthy and in moderation and I maintain the same weight! :)
This is really good advice!!! I hope Bella sees this because there's so many people who will feed (pardon the pun) info about diets and fads like keto etc. and how well they work and I'm sure they do for the short term but you'll end up putting the weight back on if you're not eating a balanced diet and doing the minimum recommended daily exercise (30 mins moderate-vigorous) each day!

You can eat anything as long as it’s in moderation. And don’t focus too much on the numbers because muscle weighs more than fat. LOVE YOU! as far as your diet just stick to whole foods!! so yes rice sweet potatoes, salads, lentils, unprocessed meats, (down down on dairy). When you goto the gym, do your cardio first and then stretch and then you divide your weight lifting into three days (you can do cardio 6 days a week and weight lifting 3 days a week), do arms one day, legs one day and core one day and just look up exercises to do for each section and pick 5-10 of them and do like 8-10 reps 3 times

I've been going to the gym almost everyday for 2 months now and what really pushes me is seeing results almost immediately, I just feel so much stronger! and I find the more often You go the easier it gets because it just becomes a routine. And as to what workouts to do in the gym, there are loads of videos on yt just try some out and stick with the ones you prefer and then after you get more comfortable and confident you can branch out and try new workouts that are more challenging! Kea Lynn haha Australia is very different. Our semesters go from generally March- June and then depending on the degree, they have a certain amount of weeks break (for me, I have 8 weeks break) and then they go back in July until November!

I go and do 5 minutes cardio and than smash out some machine workouts (i watch whitney simmons for my weighted workouts inspo) and than a little ab finisher (bc i ain't doing a full ab sesh). but you kinda just gotta figure out what vibes for you best. i also love HIIT but i can never be bothered to make up a lil circuit. also, watch sarah's day bc she has sick as 15 minute workouts to do at home (& you can do the gym)!! good luck
Hey Bella! I’m so excited to hear that you’re starting a fitness journey because I used to be all about that but I kinda got lazy. But you’re inspiring me to start again! I would meal prep chicken tenderloins, bell peppers, and brown rice/ quinoa for lunch/ dinner. For breakfast I usually would have an açaí bowl with fresh fruit on top and it was so filling and so yummy! And as for the gym, everyone’s body is different but what worked for me was running about a mile everyday, and doing a lot of weight training, it worked really well for me to lose weight and tone my muscles! I started going to the gym recently too, figuring out what to do is tough but literally just watch what other people do and see if you can too, and I also got 3 sessions with a pt to help me with specific exercises for my goals, which would help you heaps so look into getting a PT session at least twice xx
if you leave the nyx eye pencil in the freezer overnight it hardens and it’s way easier to sharpen then bella! i had the same problem cause it’s so good but so difficult to use cause it’s so big ! 💛
BELLA! At the gym it depends what equipment your gym has / what you personally want To target and stuff but when I go personally, I always start with cardio, I can't run because of my knees but I usually walk up hill on a treadmill with a sand bag on my back, or do the stairs, cross trainer, spin bike, rowing machiene etc, (I usually do 3 of them for 10 minutes each and mix it up) THEN! TONING AND WEIGHT STUFF- it's soooo worth asking the gym staff to show you different machines to help with toning because they're so fun and it adds variety! I always love leg press for your bum & legs, I also love doing kick backs with the machine (I don't know what it's called :() and the ab crunch machine! My gym also has ropes which are good for arms and MEDICINE BALL SLAMS! They're so fun and good for your arms. The workout app 'PUMP' has some good workouts for abs and stuff if you wanted to do mat workouts! Also with eating just keep your diet as balanced as you can but try to cut out junk food/sugary stuff, also eating less carbs always helps me drop weight. Eating protein (like eggs or quorn or beans) after workouts is good for your muscles. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!! excited to watch your fitness journey (although I already love your figure!!!!!) Lots of love

Girl, honestly, go to a nutritionist and get a personal trainer if you’re confused about healthy eating and working out. I don’t know how gyms work in Australia, but where I live, you get a “personal trainer” (they are not there with you every time you go to the gym but they orient you with workouts and stuff) and they give you a routine according to your goals. And a nutritionist can really tell you how to eat taking in consideration your health status! Everyone can tell you how you should eat because it worked for them, but you gotta find what works for you and not get sick on the way (which happened to me when I started trying all this different shit to loose weight)! I’ve tried sooooo many ways to loose weight and actually be healthy, and I followed many people’s advices but NOTHING EVER WORKED FOR ME! Except going to a nutritionist, trying their diets and being oriented by a physician to know how to work out! With what I’m doing now, I can eat anything I want and it isn’t such a hustle for me to stick to eating healthy. I love your videos Bella and I hope you figure all this out!

When I don’t want to go to the gym I remember a quote “I will do whatever it takes to love myself”. For me the best way to lose stomach fat is to eat vegetables and protein for every meal. My most basic meal prep is chicken, veges, and brown rice or steak, potatoes, and veges. I mostly lift in the gym and instagram workout videos are a big help!
What helped a lot when I started weightlifting was watching a video on RUclips and following it along. The first person I started watching was Nikki Blacketter (she is very knowledgeable). There’s also many other rlly good RUclipsrs that post workout routines that u can follow along. As for meal prep, it’s mainly that u want balance. Ppl like to say that basically everything is bad for u but honestly if it’s homemade and ur using good ingredients then ur fine
the 21 day fix is a really great way to lose weight. its all about portion control and it definitely works. you can get the containers on amazon and the booklet online too. good luck with your journey! strength training and cardio definitely help with losing weight as well.
I can relate to this so much! I have literally lived across the road from a free gym for a year and a half now and I still havent gone because I have no idea how to use the equipment and what for etc. I also got implanon and put on 15 kilos but I am also aware that I eat a lot of crap and am a heavy drinker.
Hey Bella, in terms of what food you can eat if you want to lose weight it's all bs when people say "don't eat this, don't eat that", it's honestly about calories in being less than calories out, so eating more hearty low cal meals where it's more than 50% vegetables is good! Plus increasing daily walking significantly can really help to reduce fat loss and don't be afraid of the weights at the gym, they are great way to tone up and burn loads of calories!! love you so much x
Hey Bella, loving the makeup and if you want to learn more about what to eat whilst trying to loose weight try the F45 eating plan cause loosing weight is mostly on what you eat. When you go to the gym hit up cardio by warming up and train the muscles.
My fav motivation tip is to find a sporty smelling perfume/body spray etc to put on before you exercise. You can then condition yourself into being motivated and going each time you use it. I tried that for the first year I got into the gym...that was about 11 years ago. It worked well for me 🏋️♀️
When I first signed up for the gym, all I did was run on the treadmill for 45min. Then my friend told me it’s good to start with some weights to get your body and muscles moving. So I recommend to start doing a few reps of simple leg, thigh, arm weights, even some quats. Then a good 30+ run/ bike. This workout is more for a everything in one. Some days you can focus more on weights or cardio. Make sure you take breaks with weight, otherwise you’ll ruin your muscles. Also if your gym has a sauna or steam room, I would finish up with that. I had the implant in my arm also and tbh it changes your behavior as a whole. There were other factors in my life but I was always overly hungry, it messed with my hormones really bad. I switched to the low hormone IUD and it’s been so great, not only do I not eat like a crazy person but I took workout classes and my work is being on my feet a lot but I dropped just about the 40 lbs I gained on it. When I had the implant I felt like nothing I did helped me lose weight and I played sports growing up and I have always worked out and it was just debilitating. I would recommend having a conversation with your doctor about that. As for working out, if you can afford a trainer for a couple months it would probably give you a better idea or if your gym has workout classes (like kickboxing, yoga, pilates, etc) I would take advantage of those. For food you could buy some cookbooks, it would help you stick to certain goals you have. Also weight watchers really helped me in one point in time, it really helps you scale down and get an idea of portion sizes and good food groups. There are also cookbooks through weight watchers but also there are meal prep cookbooks too. I think amazon would be your best bet:) Good luck on your journey!
Im on a weight loss journey too and honestly when it comes to healthy eating im taking a holistic approach to it and being more conscious about what kind of food i put into my body. So i eat out less and I dont eat junk food.

Starting your fitness journey ... Personally when meal prepping you just have to figure out what route your going for if your going to do a calorie deficit or track macros the app I recommend is “lose it” but overall just make better healthier choices like eating leaner protein (salmon tuna grill chicken) healthy carbs ( sweet potato brown rice quinoa ) if you get tired of brown rice like me feel free to eat white rice never restrict yourself ! Healthy fats (avocado nuts ) get your fruits and veggies. Exercising it gave me anxiety the first couple times I went to the gym because I didn’t know what to workout sometimes how to do it but what I recommend is doing the basics lunges squats biceps curls tricep deadlifts bent over rows just focus on getting a good form use little or no weight when starting of then progress to variety of exercise for one or two group muscle a day. In your fitness journey you learn what works best for you you learn more and more as you keep doing it it’s all about patients and consistency! 😊🙌🏼 I hope this helps
Bella, when it comes to trying to lose weight, the worst thing you can do is completely cut out certain foods. You may do okay for a short time, but the likelihood that you'll be able to keep it up is extremely slim, which is why so many people gain back the weight that they lose. Everything in moderation! I've lost 30 pounds (around 13.5 kg) so far this year just by eating less and exercising more! Counting calories and using a fitness tracker to keep track of your calorie burn is the best way to lose weight, in my opinion. Set a reasonable deficit to aim for (I try for 500-1000 daily), and go from there! Also try subbing out certain foods for healthier alternatives, like whole grain bread for white bread, spaghetti squash for pasta (one of my favorites!) or brown rice or quinoa for white rice. The healthier substitutions have more nutrients and fiber, which will keep you feeling fuller longer!
Totally agree on health sites contradicting each other food wise, but something that’s always helped me to keep weight off is to eat as fresh as possible (cooking a lot of your own meals) and to avoid food that has more than 6/7 ingredients on the label. The less processed the better!

first off you look amazing!! I've been going through the SAME exact thing this for this past year. changing pills, i gained some weight around this time last year ( when i was changed to a higher does pill) & yes, it drives ya crazy! just know you look beautiful!
Hey Bella! I’m not a professional or anything, so i’ll just talk from my experience and what I learnt from nutritionists and bits and pieces from the internet (and my studies, I’m studying medicine). So my situation was that due to stress I stopped caring for myself, I ate a lot of bad stuff and processed food and I had no time to go to the gym, literally the only thing I did was walking to the metro 10’ and that was it. So I gained some weight (I’m 1’62m and went from 52kg to 57kg) and I know it wasn’t a lot, I wasn’t fat, but I had no muscle whatsoever and I just didn’t feel comfortable in that weight. So I started my journey: - I reduced the amount of free sugar I eat, that means sugar, honey, anything with added sugar... but not fruit, as it’s not only sugar, it’s also fibre and vitamins. The world health organisation recommend no more than 25gr of free sugar a day, you’ll see everyone eats a lot more than that. - I stopped eating normal flour, that means bread, pasta... and instead I eat wholegrain bread and pasta, and in general products that contain whole flour, potatoes and rice. - I eat when I’m hungry, not 5 meals a day, as it’s commonly believed to be healthy. That’s actually a myth, and it has been confirmed that it’s not healthier. I try to be regular with my meals though. - I went to the gym! First two days a week, then 3 and now 4. The thing is i get bored if I just move random muscles in those machines, and I also hate cardio, so I started doing weight lifting. I recommend you to watch some youtube tutorials on how to start, but I assure you, you’ll get stronger and more fit in like no time, it’s also very entertaining. Some easy excises are dead lifting, hip curls, squats, bench press... It’s commonly believed that if you start lifting weight, you’ll get a “masculine” body, that’s simply not true. For me, it’s the best way to get fit. - I went to see a psychologist. I always had anxiety issues, but I never thought I had an actual disorder, turns out I do, and I think it’s very important to treat mental disorders, just like everybody would go see the doctor if they got the flu. It’s helped a lot with how I manage stress situations and life in general, as you’ll sure know, anxiety is a condition that affects every aspect in your life. It’s been almost 6 months since I started this journey, and not only am I more confident in myself because I got fit and lost that extra weight, but because I learned that my ultimate goal is to stay fit, no matter how much I weight, I learned how to listen to my body and how to understand it and that has helped me a lot with other issues. I’m ver very happy you decided to start this wonderful journey, because I know you’ll be so so happy once you realise how much you can push yourself, how much far you can go. it's soooo worth asking the gym staff to show you different machines to help with toning because they're so fun and it adds variety! I always love leg press for your bum & legs, I also love doing kick backs with the machine (I don't know what it's called :() and the ab crunch machine!
My gym also has ropes which are good for arms and MEDICINE BALL SLAMS! They're so fun and good for your arms.
The workout app 'PUMP' has some good workouts for abs and stuff if you wanted to do mat workouts!
Also with eating just keep your diet as balanced as you can but try to cut out junk food/sugary stuff, also eating less carbs always helps me drop weight. Eating protein (like eggs or quorn or beans) after workouts is good for your muscles.

Girl, honestly, go to a nutritionist and get a personal trainer if you’re confused about healthy eating and working out. I don’t know how gyms work in Australia, but where I live, you get a “personal trainer” (they are not there with you every time you go to the gym but they orient you with workouts and stuff) and they give you a routine according to your goals. And a nutritionist can really tell you how to eat taking in consideration your health status! Everyone can tell you how you should eat because it worked for them, but you gotta find what works for you and not get sick on the way (which happened to me when I started trying all this different shit to loose weight)! I’ve tried sooooo many ways to loose weight and actually be healthy, and I followed many people’s advices but NOTHING EVER WORKED FOR ME! Except going to a nutritionist, trying their diets and being oriented by a physician to know how to work out! With what I’m doing now, I can eat anything I want and it isn’t such a hustle for me to stick to eating healthy. I love your videos Bella and I hope you figure all this out!

When I don’t want to go to the gym I remember a quote “I will do whatever it takes to love myself”. For me the best way to lose stomach fat is to eat vegetables and protein for every meal. My most basic meal prep is chicken, veges, and brown rice or steak, potatoes, and veges. I mostly lift in the gym and instagram workout videos are a big help!
What helped a lot when I started weightlifting was watching a video on RUclips and following it along. The first person I started watching was Nikki Blacketter (she is very knowledgeable). There’s also many other rlly good RUclipsrs that post workout routines that u can follow along. As for meal prep, it’s mainly that u want balance. Ppl like to say that basically everything is bad for u but honestly if it’s homemade and ur using good ingredients then ur fine
the 21 day fix is a really great way to lose weight. its all about portion control and it definitely works. you can get the containers on amazon and the booklet online too. good luck with your journey! strength training and cardio definitely help with losing weight as well.

I can relate to this so much! I have literally lived across the road from a free gym for a year and a half now and I still havent gone because I have no idea how to use the equipment and what for etc. I also got implanon and put on 15 kilos but I am also aware that I eat a lot of crap and am a heavy drinker.

Hey Bella, in terms of what food you can eat if you want to lose weight it's all bs when people say "don't eat this, don't eat that", it's honestly about calories in being less than calories out, so eating more hearty low cal meals where it's more than 50% vegetables is good! Plus increasing daily walking significantly can really help to reduce fat loss and don't be afraid of the weights at the gym, they are great way to tone up and burn loads of calories!! love you so much x
Hey Bella, loving the makeup and if you want to learn more about what to eat whilst trying to loose weight try the F45 eating plan cause loosing weight is mostly on what you eat. When you go to the gym hit up cardio by warming up and train the muscles.
My fav motivation tip is to find a sporty smelling perfume/body spray etc to put on before you exercise. You can then condition yourself into being motivated and going each time you use it. I tried that for the first year I got into the gym...that was about 11 years ago. It worked well for me 🏋️♀️
When I first signed up for the gym, all I did was run on the treadmill for 45min. Then my friend told me it’s good to start with some weights to get your body and muscles moving. So I recommend to start doing a few reps of simple leg, thigh, arm weights, even some quats. Then a good 30+ run/ bike. This workout is more for a everything in one. Some days you can focus more on weights or cardio. Make sure you take breaks with weight, otherwise you’ll ruin your muscles. Also if your gym has a sauna or steam room, I would finish up with that. I had the implant in my arm also and tbh it changes your behavior as a whole. There were other factors in my life but I was always overly hungry, it messed with my hormones really bad. I switched to the low hormone IUD and it’s been so great, not only do I not eat like a crazy person but I took workout classes and my work is being on my feet a lot but I dropped just about the 40 lbs I gained on it. When I had the implant I felt like nothing I did helped me lose weight and I played sports growing up and I have always worked out and it was just debilitating. I would recommend having a conversation with your doctor about that.
As for working out, if you can afford a trainer for a couple months it would probably give you a better idea or if your gym has workout classes (like kickboxing, yoga, pilates, etc) I would take advantage of those.
For food you could buy some cookbooks, it would help you stick to certain goals you have. Also weight watchers really helped me in one point in time, it really helps you scale down and get an idea of portion sizes and good food groups. There are also cookbooks through weight watchers but also there are meal prep cookbooks too. I think amazon would be your best bet:)

Im on a weight loss journey too and honestly when it comes to healthy eating im taking a holistic approach to it and being more conscious about what kind of food i put into my body. So i eat out less and I dont eat junk food.

Personally when meal prepping you just have to figure out what route your going for if your going to do a calorie deficit or track macros the app I recommend is “lose it” but overall just make better healthier choices like eating leaner protein (salmon tuna grill chicken) healthy carbs ( sweet potato brown rice quinoa ) if you get tired of brown rice like me feel free to eat white rice never restrict yourself ! Healthy fats (avocado nuts ) get your fruits and veggies.
Exercising it gave me anxiety the first couple times I went to the gym because I didn’t know what to workout sometimes how to do it but what I recommend is doing the basics lunges squats biceps curls tricep deadlifts bent over rows just focus on getting a good form use little or no weight when starting of then progress to variety of exercise for one or two group muscle a day.
In your fitness journey you learn what works best for you you learn more and more as you keep doing it it’s all about patients and consistency! 😊🙌🏼 I hope this helps
Bella, when it comes to trying to lose weight, the worst thing you can do is completely cut out certain foods. You may do okay for a short time, but the likelihood that you'll be able to keep it up is extremely slim, which is why so many people gain back the weight that they lose. Everything in moderation! I've lost 30 pounds (around 13.5 kg) so far this year just by eating less and exercising more! Counting calories and using a fitness tracker to keep track of your calorie burn is the best way to lose weight, in my opinion. Set a reasonable deficit to aim for (I try for 500-1000 daily), and go from there!
Also try subbing out certain foods for healthier alternatives, like whole grain bread for white bread, spaghetti squash for pasta (one of my favorites!) or brown rice or quinoa for white rice. The healthier substitutions have more nutrients and fiber, which will keep you feeling fuller longer!

Totally agree on health sites contradicting each other food wise, but something that’s always helped me to keep weight off is to eat as fresh as possible (cooking a lot of your own meals) and to avoid food that has more than 6/7 ingredients on the label. The less processed the better!

About for the contradicting diet info, I think it just depends on people's bodies, some people do good high carb, some people do good on high fat, or some balance between the two (as long as they're healthy carbs and fats), you can just experiment and find what works best for you :)
first off you look amazing!! I've been going through the SAME exact thing this for this past year. changing pills, i gained some weight around this time last year ( when i was changed to a higher does pill) & yes, it drives ya crazy! just know you look beautiful!

Hey Bella! I’m not a professional or anything, so i’ll just talk from my experience and what I learnt from nutritionists and bits and pieces from the internet (and my studies, I’m studying medicine).
So my situation was that due to stress I stopped caring for myself, I ate a lot of bad stuff and processed food and I had no time to go to the gym, literally the only thing I did was walking to the metro 10’ and that was it.
So I gained some weight (I’m 1’62m and went from 52kg to 57kg) and I know it wasn’t a lot, I wasn’t fat, but I had no muscle whatsoever and I just didn’t feel comfortable in that weight. So I started my journey:
- I reduced the amount of free sugar I eat, that means sugar, honey, anything with added sugar... but not fruit, as it’s not only sugar, it’s also fibre and vitamins. The world health organisation recommend no more than 25gr of free sugar a day, you’ll see everyone eats a lot more than that.
- I stopped eating normal flour, that means bread, pasta... and instead I eat wholegrain bread and pasta, and in general products that contain whole flour, potatoes and rice.
- I eat when I’m hungry, not 5 meals a day, as it’s commonly believed to be healthy. That’s actually a myth, and it has been confirmed that it’s not healthier. I try to be regular with my meals though.
- I went to the gym! First two days a week, then 3 and now 4. The thing is i get bored if I just move random muscles in those machines, and I also hate cardio, so I started doing weight lifting. I recommend you to watch some youtube tutorials on how to start, but I assure you, you’ll get stronger and more fit in like no time, it’s also very entertaining. Some easy excises are dead lifting, hip curls, squats, bench press... It’s commonly believed that if you start lifting weight, you’ll get a “masculine” body, that’s simply not true. For me, it’s the best way to get fit.
- I went to see a psychologist. I always had anxiety issues, but I never thought I had an actual disorder, turns out I do, and I think it’s very important to treat mental disorders, just like everybody would go see the doctor if they got the flu. It’s helped a lot with how I manage stress situations and life in general, as you’ll sure know, anxiety is a condition that affects every aspect in your life.
It’s been almost 6 months since I started this journey, and not only am I more confident in myself because I got fit and lost that extra weight, but because I learned that my ultimate goal is to stay fit, no matter how much I weight, I learned how to listen to my body and how to understand it and that has helped me a lot with other issues.
I’m ver very happy you decided to start this wonderful journey, because I know you’ll be so so happy once you realise how much you can push yourself, how much far you can go.

I’m the exact same as you hun, I’d definitely recommend getting a personal trainer just for the first few weeks. Even 1 personal training session a week helps so much. They give you nutritional plans as well. ❤️❤️
