More to the point of the 12V transformer. ANY wet location by NEC Code MUST or SHALL (meaning it is mandatory) have a double isolated 12V secondary transformer. Think Pool Transformer. Because if it shorts out a serious electrocution hazard applies if the secondary is not isolated. Just thought I would throw that out there. It is your life do with it as you deem fit. As a Master Electrician myself, it is not worth my life to be a hobbyist and build a death trap. Sure the Transformer is expensive. But how much do YOU value your life. This is ONLY applicable if your source voltage is 120VAC. If you use say a 12V Battery, the requirement is non existent. Just be sure you shut off the Vapor Cabinet before charging the battery to full float charge. That is some over the top craftsmanship there my good man. Nothing like precision tools to make precision parts with. Heck yea I subscribed.
So simple yet elegant. I like all the small thought through details like the quick connectors for future timer replacement/removal. Impressive craftsmanship 👍
Wow, HF must have improved the design of their blast cabinet... The one I have, from about 6 years ago or so, leaks like a sieve with DRY media--I can't even begin to fathom how much of a mess things would be with a wet spray. The water rinse idea was a great solution though.
Can you send a parts list if you can. I have seen many vapor set ups and yours seem to be very clean. I have the submersible pump picked out. I just need to know all the other components of where to buy from. I appreciate your help
Here is a link to Victor Bared. I copied his setup as far as the plumbing goes. He has a parts list that I used. ruclips.net/video/4hoJ25zwLyA/видео.htmlsi=ik1H2A3YBPN3DLGG
Thanks for watching. I will do another video and post some links to some of the RUclipsrs that inspirer me to build one. Their Videos are very detailed. I just added some of my own design changes. The video I am working on now will show the advantages of having one.
Thanks for the comment. I used a 1/8 bsp tap. I don't think the threads will match an npt tap. 21/64 Drill Bit. I only went about 2/3 depth on the tap. I found because pipe threads are tapered, if you go the full depth with the tap, the mist head will bottom out before it gets tight, making it impossible to orient them all with the same pattern. Maybe try one for a test fit before doing them all.
Thanks for the comment. I may replace the timer with an electric solenoid and foot pedal since the timer doesn't always clean the glass when you need it the most. Sounds like a good idea for a future video.
Hello, Thanks for your informative video, taking in some valuable info. FYI, cap off inlets and outlets of any and all equipment, so stuff doesn't entered within (spiders like small dark places) which could make for problems later! : )
How did I ever miss this awesome informational video???? Truly magnificent!! Thank you for sharing the great information....

This is probably the best looking upgraded HF cabinet I’ve ever seen. Great job 👍🏼
You have some serious skills. Great video.

I removed all the sealing tape that came with the cabinet when it was new and not assembled and used GE Silicone on all the seams when I assembled it.
Nice job on the upgrades!

Can you talk about how you created you vapor hone setup? Clearly you have years of building and maintaining stuff! Keep posting!

Greetings. Well done. For the spray tips did you use a bsp tap or were you able to get away with a npt tap? 11/32 tap drill size?

Curious why you didn’t run the misters with a foot pedal instead of a timer.

Hi, Dit You mixing water with glass before use in cabinet?
Yes, 3 cups of extra fine glass beads in the pump bucket and filled the bucket to about 3/4 full of water.
@@mdw66799 I mean mixing water in the same time when cabinet work. Your pomp take easy glass with water ? glass don't fall at the bottom ?
Watch this video and you will see how it works ruclips.net/video/4hoJ25zwLyA/видео.html
Hope this helps.
Looks like you could have gotten away with two sprayers for the window
