Thank u for the review, I still love the figure but your right, this is far from an anniversary toy.
Nothing against them personally, I am sure they are perfectly fine people in real life, but I have come to really dislike hearing the marketing people from Hasbro on their livestreams and figure reveals. During the last Star Wars one, one of the marketing people referred to The Emperor as "Dark Sidious"...
Good lord! That's a friggin travesty. That is why I don't watch those more-ons... They're just there to collect a paycheck and to push their woke views. They have ZERO clue of what they're talking about. Dark... CRIPES MAN!... 🙄😔
Hasbro's marketing team is the worst. I can't stand Emily! She doesn't know the IP. She blathers on in marketing-speak that just makes her sound disingenuous. I hope her personality in Hasbro videos is affected and not who she really is.
I've been collecting GI Joe since the 70s and my father would bring home his 60s GI Joes and then the 70s Action Man I started collecting the Real American Hero GI Joes in the 80s the reason they were given laser guns like all cartoons back then is nobody got killed they were considered a stun weapon because they didn't want the violence of people getting shot on afternoon cartoons and you see this in most cartoons in the 80s including mask Transformers and others
As a GI JOE fan myself, all of your complaints are totally valid. Hasbro has always been a hit or miss company. Don't worry about those ignorant fans. Also, the old Marvel Comic run is the definitive GI JOE experience! 😎
Our fan base “ the start of the line “ has slowly been pushed aside in favor of cash … as a boy I remember the manuals(1960’s) were super accurate and even showed how to dig a fox hole a Grenade sump, build up a tent , create and over watch emplacement and what went where in equipment . As you said they know nothing .Thanks again for another great video !!
I'm happy for people to enjoy Joes however they like - wanting military accuracy, comic book depiction, cartoon style, whatever. BUT These anniversary Joes were specifically sold on the basis of homage to the original figures, and Hasbro has dropped the ball. Also, it does not excuse the QUALITY issues these figures have; the inconsistent joints (gaps at the upper-arm swivel point on some figures), the poor articulation (that neck movement is shocking - we know they can do better) and the gummy weapons. All while prices slowly tick up, up, up...
Strange that the red dot on the "M4" is not an Aimpoint or EOTech. "Fun fact" Aimpoint made 10 blue dot sights for the Swedish army. The National Guard was the first unit in Sweden to adopt a red dot sight. Then when the Army wanted one as well they wanted to be "different" and spect the first ones with a blue dot for trials. Well they now use a red dot :)
It absolutely escapes me how anyone can endeavor to produce a military-themed toy without at the very least consulting military expertise to do so. In today's modern, tech-oversaturated world, there's no excuse. Not only are there millions of websites and pics of real soldiers of virtually any unit you could imagine, but we also have thousands and thousands of current and retired military personnel who could be consulted with or perhaps contracted as consultants to review each and every product for military accuracy. After all, that's how the GI Joe line began in the 60s. That concept was even made known in the commercials. "GI Joe... the most realistic toy soldier the world has ever known."
What are you talking about? Every time I take my M2A1 to the range, I always fire from the hip. Of course, I never hit my target, people run screaming in fear, and the paramedics and police show up,so I guess it does get a little awkward, but it's totally doable.Great video sir,and keep up the great work.
_That 50. gun..._ Bloody hell. 😂 Not only is it impractical from a realistic standpoint, it sucks from an accessory storage perspective, too. Both parts stick out like barge poles - awkward-looking in itself - but they also interfere with the articulation, since the figure wouldn't be able to kneel with them on. Even on a stylised figure, it'd make for a strange silhouette. Any soldier toy should look cool and ready for action, all equipment prepped to be deployed at the drop of a hat. _That gun_ isn't something you could even *imagine* whipping out on the battlefield with any speed. Like you say, such a lack of research here. I've been using those lovely Osprey _Men-at-Arms_ books - that give the details and history of military equipment across the world, from ancient to modern times - as reference in a few projects of my own, so I don't see why Hasbro's designers couldn't have at least picked those up or researched online or even looked at an informative print calendar to get some bearing on what they were doing. 🤣 At that price point, you either aim for accuracy or don't bother wasting the shot.
I agree with you 100%. I get that people like the fun side of GI Joe, I do too. But as a US Marine veteran, I love accuracy and the real world way veterans of any military organization do things also.
Amazing quality video. I love the truth you bring Tony. The real life fact based knowledge. And as much as I like many ip’s hasblow keeps squandering golden opportunities to really make some amazing products and memorable items for all collectors. Young and old alike.
So, I've never been in the military and wouldn't notice this stuff without you pointing it out. Evne having it pointed out it doesn't necessarily bother me because... yeah I view GI Joe as sci fi as much as military. That being said... Your videos make me wonder if Hasbro employs any military consultants. I would assume not since the stuff you point out seemsl ike it would be apparent to anyone who has actually served.
I couldn't agree more! Hasbro keeps making boneheaded mistakes regarding realism. Some recent examples: *Retro Scarlett: No crossbow string, hip quiver designed to sit in front of hip instead of behind hip where it belongs, sidearm with nowhere to put it. *Retro Duke: Field glasses only fit properly in one position. Would have been great to have a usable belt pouch and string for a strap, or just better sculpting of the plastic. *Action Sailor: Back of box pic walking forward over rough ground still wearing fins. *Techno Viper: Bracer display prevents holding rifle properly, hose is too short, backpack is upside down or carry handle is in the wrong place. *Tunnel Rat: Ridiculous scope on his M60. *Helix: Absurd mantis blades--way too large to function with a bracer mount. Yes, these are all nitpicky, trivial complaints. The problem is they add up. It's like breaking the fourth wall. If it happens once or twice in the film, it's clever. If it happens too much it ruins suspension of disbelief. The more I encounter these issues that would never fly in the real world, the less believable the group as a whole becomes. The comic has sci-fi elements, but they are generally plausible, near-future sci-fi. That grounded the series in a "real" world that was 20-50 years ahead of our own. As these mistakes pile up they threaten that world and it will ultimately become a farce. It's exactly what happened towards the end of the original ARAH line in the mid-90s. I sincerely hope Classified doesn't follow in ARAH's footsteps. I was seriously disappointed when they announced Cobra-La figures because the cartoon continuity was always a significantly less "real" world.
@@SlasherconDon’t forget that Tunnel Rat would probably never carry that M60 into a tunnel with him. Too big, too long and too heavy for the tight confines of a Viet Nam era tunnel and would produce way too much muzzle flash when fired.
I grew up with the 12" GI Joes as well as the 3 3/4 " ones. Being an Army Vet, I can tell you that if the Infantry Soldier is supposed to be military accurate, Hasbro dropped the ball big time. Even if you bought this action figure to pose and play with a bit, the articulation is severely hindered due to all of the protruding gear coming off of his vest/plate armor. Doesn't look like much thought went into the design or functionality for this figure. That is a shame. Great video.
Great video Tony! Once again you hit the nail on the head with the obvious mistakes and blunders. Hasbro has really ruined every popular toy line just like Disney ruining Star Wars. Hasbro had a perfect opportunity to reintroduce a couple 12” Anniversary edition figures for the fans that still to this day collect it. We are also the ones who do 1/18 and classified, maybe not all but a great majority of us. Hasbro certainly needs a revamp. Keep up the great content Tony. PS. You always make me LMAO!!
As someone who grew up with the colorful 90s character joes, the fantastic elements are fine when we're all on the same page that that's what it's supposed to be. If they're advertising that one figure as a specific homage to the realistic military figures of the original line, then no, those fantasy elements don't belong there, and you've got a valid gripe with the figure not being realistic. That looks like it's supposed to be a modern american soldier, and it's not like in the last 20+ years there hasn't been enough reference footage and photos taken to be able to accurately depict the gear. There's not exactly a shortage of veterans from that stretch either, so it shouldn't have been difficult to find some to consult. Also that plastic hood that doesn't match the poncho just looks stupid.
Tony, as a former grunt with multiple deployments, I couldn't agree with you more about the lack of realism. Also, bravo for using Tropic Thunder clips, hands down one of the best comedy movies in a long time.
When Hasbro was all hyped about the 50th anniversary and couldn't be bothered to put out even a single 12" figure I didn't think we'd get anything for the 60th either, and we didn't. I didn't buy either of these figures because neither, IMO, truly paid respect to the OG 12" line that basically built Hasbro into what it is today.
I was assigned the 50 cal as a soldier in my calvary troop….I can personally vouch that at no point did i carry the weapon on my rucksack when i was deployed! Besides the weight of the weapon, I also had an extra barrel with it….let alone the ammo as well.
I completely agree with you. An 80lb pack, LMG, Magazines, Water, Belts for the GPMG and whatever else needed moving, was enough to be going on with. I doubt that the designers have so much as picked up a pair of boots in their lifetime, let alone had a pleasant stroll in the countryside carrying full FSMO.
Wow,I knew it would be bad but so much bad is staggering. I admit I thought it looked good initially but the more you broke it down the more happy I was I passed. An excellent video I’ve been anticipating greatly. Bravo.
I'm fakkkkin dying!!! 🤣 Mate that was brilliant using the Tropic Thunder bits!! Another Analog Toys instant classic!!! I bought these two, the diver is OK, but that "infantry" soldier is a cluster fakkkk of biblical proportions! Love the channel!! 😁👍
Honestly, I don't care about any Hasbro product when it is an exclusive. They lose that purchase every time they pull one of those stunts. I totally agree with your view of the figure. Figures that can't pose like a soldier is a lost cause. As soon as i saw the inability to look up, I knew the figure was trash!
In all seriousness in real life I don’t care if Roadblock was Mr. Olympia, there is no way he or anyone else is going to hump a 84 pound .50 cal machine gun plus its ammo then be able to fire it from the hip in any controllable fashion. Don’t even think about that 44 pound tripod and the gun at the same time… Good video Tony!
The "standing 50 cal" made me bust out laughing. I was a medic, but still liked to help my guys carry in their rig every night after missions and i would have to hide how much i was struggling just to carry the 50 cal with the rest of my gear. The idea of hip firing that weapon is HIGH FANTASY.
A brilliant critique of this new gi joe Tony highlighted the true shortcomings of this particular figure & more importantly the accessories, great reason to just stick to true Vintage quality, keep up the great work desert rat 👏
This retired soldier (me) who served 22years (the last 14 in combat arms), and has two combat deployments agrees with you 100%. And I have been a Joe fan since 1982. Hasbro needs to do better, or just sell the Joe IP to Bobby Vala. Great video!!!
Hilarious video Tony. The constant misfires with the classified line really makes me glad that I’m no longer collecting them. Also loving the tropic thunder clips, I guess I know what I’m watching tonight
My oldest son ships out for Navy basic on June 13. I bought the action sailor to make a figure of him for my squad, but all I wound up using was his loadout. I will most likely be using my Vanguard driver for the body when it comes in. Along with a head sculpt from Lokiwartooth.
Spot on Tony!! I wondered what you were going to say the minute I opened mine and had a miserable time fiddling with the stupid pouches. To me the tags and 50 were the only bits worth 2 bucks. You know it would be worth 30+ bucks if Lenny put on a 50lb ruck and then have some other knuckle head strap on a tripod and a 50.
Tony, you summed up perfectly how I feel about every GIJoe Classified release. Seems great on paper, but once in hand, it’s disappointment after disappointment
Great video Tony and as for weapons I prefer it being realistic. Heck If I wanted to give my g.i joe classified figures accurate looking weapons id go to a 3rd party one and not a hasbro one. Another thing id love the tropic thunder clips
Having both the Action Sailor and Action Soldier... which I like.... I am very nervous about the Action Marine. I have high hopes for the Action Marine. I am ready for disappointment. Very good video, Tony
I served for 20 years in the United States Army and you’ve hit the nail on the head here. As you do every time. Who is in charge of GI Joe? The choices they make are baffling. And soooo tired of gummy weapons.
I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately, this seems to be what a majority of the fans want. I had hoped the classified line would be a chance to right some of the wrongs of the Real American Hero line. Unfortunately, Hasbro has decided to double down on the stupid.
I started collecting GiJoes because I thought it looked realistic and stopped collecting anything GiJoe because of the garish neon colors at the end of the line. All Hasbro seams to be able to do is take a good thing and step on it. They take something I love and turn it into something I hate. I gave up on the 6” line back when you could not find any figures in any store and the price went up. Do better hasbro. GIJoe is a cash cow and you keep taking it to the slaughter house.
I'm not english, I'm not much into military stuff but even I know that are called "pouches" in english. The limited neck joint is the wrost part in my opinion, for the reason explained by Tony.
Hey Tony, just want to congratulate you for the quality of your contents, i learned so much, thanks to you. I wish to have your opinion about Joy Toy, especially their military action figures (WWII/present days). I know it's a 1/18 scale, but they made me look! What do you think about the accuracy (equipments/weapons/vehicles) ? If this company turns out to make 1/12 action figures, Bobby Vala, wich is a genius in my opinion, could face some serious competition. What do you think ?
Excellent video. Great editing. The harshness is very much appreciated. Put someone ex-military in charge of GI Joe product development - problem solved. Hasbro see Valaverse's success, and are trying to copy their style without realising how Valaverse got there. Hasbro need to step up and lead, not attempt to emulate someone else's style.
Having been to Iraq in 2004 and being in the US Army for 26 years, I wholeheartedly agree that a GI JOE figure is more enjoyable when it has some semblance of military accuracy.
I really like this figure, but I never considered the military accuracy, so it was interesting to hear your perspective. I wouldn't say however that the original 12 inch Joes were all that concerned with military accuracy either. Those dog tags they all had look to be 1:1 scale, and not at all proportionate to the 1/6 scale figures. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe anyone ever wore dog tags the size of a serving tray around their neck. 😀
Your best video, with the exception of your appeal when referring to male suicide and PTSD, which was and remains so compelling. Keep up the excellent work and service 😉
You're not harsh Tony, you are slapping them with truth, there wasn't a single point of you bashing for the sake of bashing, all straight facts. This video is a mountain of knowledge and I wish you review all classified figures lol, thanks.
I joined the Army in 1990 and thought I was so cool when I was issued the same basic helmet my GI Joe figures had. I learned quickly there was no Flash and Roadblock was some sort of freak of nature. The first time I rode in a HMMWV, I thought, I'm in a Vamp. I never rode in a M1, I was in the 82nd, but I knew they were the MOBAT. That was what I loved about GI Joe. I was a comic book GI Joe fan. I liked very little about the cartoon. I get you. I was all about the "near" reality. The thought that maybe not this year, but very soon, the military could have every item I saw in the comics. BTW, my first GI Joe, Breaker. My MOS, forward observer. I've always had mad radio skills.
I agree that they should have brought back the WW2 themed figures to the 1/12 scale. They already have half a paratrooper with the WW2 Steve Rogers from Marvel Legends
Hell, I'm just surprised he's got a canteen! After so many releases of Joes and Cobras WITH NO CANTEEN, I gave up on this line. I can at least rescue the Joes from the 60s/70s from doll shows to keep me entertained.
good review bro you know, one thing that always make me laugh is figs out of character.... like Aunt May with a bazooka, or Sgt Slaughter with a lollipop! D soooo, every time you dropped a 'bomb' I laughed my assets off, lol you re usually so calm and gentle, that was very funny! ha, ha! yeah, I got 2 of those, made one white and the other black having 2 marines behind a character makes him look powerful and important, ha, ha. I promoted agent Woo as CIA instead of FBI, he informs Joes about Cobra activity, and now, he s backed by the marines. hey, I really appreciate your intake on him, as a pro - vet me, I love him, had some Joes in early 70s, and never totally recovered, D but, yeah, double barrel guns are clumsy. all your points are valid, he s not as realistic as we d hope him to be. I have more of a problem about the super tight packaging than the gummy weapons, hey, they don t break at least! even if the packaging suggests otherwise, D I m broke, so those should be my only 60th I ll buy, but maybe.... here in Canada, those come at about $50 + tax, ouch! but yeah, he s loaded, and that helps me somewhat, I needed more guns. Lenny is clearly a business man more than a truth sayer, he only cares about selling to keep his job... he s a bit short sighted too, all he wants is sell figs, like it s going to last forever by flooding the market with only figs, he s making a crash very likely in the future too many corps make figs now, some collectors quit out of boredom and lack of space or proper management including figs with light vehicles was a mistake, and not getting them in stores is another big one too, but wait! Hasbro decided it was nt risky enough, so they include a useless female with the ferret! WOMEN DON T GO TO THE FRONT! not while I m in command! and this stupid notion that Cobra wants diversity... are you stupid? they re supremascists! they re on their way to dominate the world with a radical vision! evil!!! but CC can t have a hood? yet he sends women to the front? the execs are clearly confused here! Cobra are the bad guys! the example not to follow! they re racists and control freaks! they have fans because Hasbro messed up the message on their way to success the 8 y old target audience aim blurred the real lesson to be taught, no honour makes you weak minded! yeah, the pouches are a bit too much, I don t use them much, but I love the talkie though, very useful! no, no, I m with you bro, be severe and critical, you re 100% correct on all your observations Joes for me ARE Hasbro, not sw, which is going down the drain now it seems... looking at the prices today, it makes me wonder if Joes are not pulling their weight! hey! reg figs are now around $45 Can + tax here, the danger line! how the heck are they so expensive? surely, we drag the sw products which are a disaster! ... and they still wait to release light vehicles in stores... I don t buy online, and the fans complain about the deliveries and delays... some get their orders cancelled... and I m going to get into this? no way bro! Hasbro better rethink their strategies for selling product, or they ll lose much more next time around, it s not going so well with China now, no China, no Joes, no Hasbro.... they should produce more quantities, less variety, or they ll be in big trouble! get the price down! stop emphasising on collection, adjust to the coming war you dopes! me, I m almost good now, I just need Doc, Flash, Short fuse and Zap to have my 82 - 83 team complete Cobra needs more reg troops, vipers, and bats, but I have a few pythonised ones Destro iron grenadiers are coming soon, Destro, 10 troops, maybe a few annihilators, and I m good until the October guards heck, they could choke right now, and I d still be good, I already have a good base. 4 dios, I m around 80 figs, Joes, legends, Indy, occasionnal sw and wrestlers for civilians - spectators, I d say I m already good for plenty of action, ha, ha. you re soooo right! Joes are more than a toy, they re a powerful symbol! be a real man! a hero! courage, honour, duty! the current staff never played with Joes, they don t have the essence.... mamas s boys! mother s little helpers, God helps us in this coming war bro... so now you know... good show bro
Now I don’t feel so bad missing out on those figures. At this point, why the fuck they don’t have a Navy Seal or a Marine as a consultant is fucking beyond me? Great video Tony!!!
Wow. The backpack thing is just lazy & "let's find a way to make it work". But the pouches could've been fantastic. Every ex & current soldier loves their pouches and their velcro. That was a softball fo' sure. Another couple tiny things, but why make the diver's skin color so dark (for the black diver)? Against the black wetsuit, some of his really good facial features are muddied. 4 or 5x shades lighter would've made that head feature POP! I mean, their are mixed race soldiers, Hasbro. Lastly, why not release them together? That one just blew me away. Hit 'em w/ both, BAM, between the eyes! Those prices suck too, but we aren't allowed to complain abt that as collectors, so strike this last comment. Thanks for another gr8 and completely accurate review AT! Keep it up
I agree I was expecting more of the traditional classic head of the original 60s figure and was very disappointed that it is like another deco of Storm shadow figure😕
They had extra material left over from the gummy weapons so they made pancho hoods. I’ve met military moms that have more military equipment knowledge than the Hasbro team.
"You think I'm being too harsh."
Being too harsh is half the reason I watch.
Being too harsh is half the battle.
I looked forward to your review more than the actual figure itself and got to say, I am glad that I didn't pick it up.
This episode was one of the best-as a Marine and a collector, I totally agree with you-keep up the good work brother!!

That infantry Joe is going to make half a deployment, get medically discharged, and draw 100% VA compensation for the rest of his life.
He's basically Hydra Bob lol.
But the VA finds his injuries not service connect.

I couldn't agree more! Hasbro keeps making boneheaded mistakes regarding realism. Some recent examples:
*Retro Scarlett: No crossbow string, hip quiver designed to sit in front of hip instead of behind hip where it belongs, sidearm with nowhere to put it.

@@SlasherconDon’t forget that Tunnel Rat would probably never carry that M60 into a tunnel with him. Too big, too long and too heavy for the tight confines of a Viet Nam era tunnel and would produce way too much muzzle flash when fired.
This mate using the Tropic Thunder clips had me dying. Sucks Hasbro went full ret*rd
Hastard is in their contract. the more clueless the more employable at Casa del Hassenfeld.
Never go full r*tard....
Excellent video and comments. I totally agree your comments Tony. As a former soldier, it erks me to see such inaccuracies. 15:52
I'll admit that sailor looks good. Great video Tony, love how you pointed out how crazy it is for him to carry all that gear at once.
Perfect rundown of this plastic prat fall, sir.
Still don't understand why they can't make the vests removable for all the figures.. hate the idea to heat my figure just to remove the accessories
Excellent break down of what is, let's be diplomatic, a VERY underwhelming offering from HASBLO.
Awesome video as always sir!
Excellent constructive criticism. I hope Hasbro realizes you are an invaluable consultant!
They should have made the original head sculpt but more lifelike and when are we going to see the Action Marine and Pilot?
I served 20 years and retired cavalry scout spot on review. And nobody would hump that mod duce "50 cal" for long 😂.
Roadblock could.
The GI Joe Team from Hasbro makes Simple Jack, look like a Effen Genius.
Absolutely loved this, Tony. Excellent video.
Great review Tony. Carrying a 50 cal into battle, someone had no clue how heavy LOL
Love this video. The honesty is amazing, reflects my opinion too. Nice one mate. I only did Palitoy, but it was all about realism.👍
One of 'em is a DEI hire 0 qualifications, but does "check boxes"...the brand manager.
“Are you f_cking trying to kill him?” 😂😂😂 205 pound carry OMG HasBRO!!
I thought this was going to be "old man yells at clouds" but nope Hasbro dropped the ball.
The 50 on the ruck is wild. 🤦♂️
Hasbro and disappointment is like two peas in a pod.they just don’t care and probably won’t anytime soon.harshness is warranted.great video
Honestly, the thing that bothers me most about this 60th anniversary is no 1/6 scale figures.
This one was awesome! 😅 Let em have it, Tony!
Having been to Iraq in 2004 and being in the US Army for 26 years, I wholeheartedly agree that a GI JOE figure is more enjoyable when it has some semblance of military accuracy.
Agree with your assessment. As a classic joe collector you hit the mark!
You kept it real, fantastic video sir!
An absolutely fantastic episode always a good bit of laughter from your videos tony keep it up
Your best video, with the exception of your appeal when referring to male suicide and PTSD, which was and remains so compelling.
Bravo Tony! Another Brutally Fun, and informative video. Thank you!!!
I agree that they should have brought back the WW2 themed figures to the 1/12 scale. They already have half a paratrooper with the WW2 Steve Rogers from Marvel Legends
I came away from this really wanting a Classified SGT Lincoln Osiris figure.
Me too!
Hell, I'm just surprised he's got a canteen! After so many releases of Joes and Cobras WITH NO CANTEEN, I gave up on this line. I can at least rescue the Joes from the 60s/70s from doll shows to keep me entertained.
The 1st figure of the Classified 60th range should have been the 1960's Green Beret. Thats the figure I most associate with early Joe.
I would have loved faithful 6 inch reproductions of the original G.I. Joe!
Ask Bobby if he can get Tropic Thunder license for Valaverse.
As ex US Army, good review. I wish the would take the originals and make smaller.
good review bro
you know, one thing that always make me laugh is figs out of character....
like Aunt May with a bazooka, or Sgt Slaughter with a lollipop! D
soooo, every time you dropped a 'bomb' I laughed my assets off, lol
you re usually so calm and gentle, that was very funny! ha, ha!
yeah, I got 2 of those, made one white and the other black
having 2 marines behind a character makes him look powerful and important, ha, ha.
I promoted agent Woo as CIA instead of FBI, he informs Joes about Cobra activity,
and now, he s backed by the marines.
hey, I really appreciate your intake on him, as a pro - vet
me, I love him, had some Joes in early 70s, and never totally recovered, D
but, yeah, double barrel guns are clumsy.
all your points are valid, he s not as realistic as we d hope him to be.
I have more of a problem about the super tight packaging than the gummy weapons,
hey, they don t break at least!
even if the packaging suggests otherwise, D
I m broke, so those should be my only 60th I ll buy, but maybe....
here in Canada, those come at about $50 + tax, ouch!
but yeah, he s loaded, and that helps me somewhat, I needed more guns.
Lenny is clearly a business man more than a truth sayer, he only cares about selling to keep his job...
he s a bit short sighted too, all he wants is sell figs, like it s going to last forever
by flooding the market with only figs, he s making a crash very likely in the future
too many corps make figs now, some collectors quit out of boredom and lack of space or proper management
including figs with light vehicles was a mistake, and not getting them in stores is another big one too,
but wait!
Cobra are the bad guys! the example not to follow! they re racists and control freaks!
they have fans because Hasbro messed up the message on their way to success
the 8 y old target audience aim blurred the real lesson to be taught, no honour makes you weak minded!
yeah, the pouches are a bit too much, I don t use them much,
but I love the talkie though, very useful!
no, no, I m with you bro, be severe and critical, you re 100% correct on all your observations
Joes for me ARE Hasbro, not sw, which is going down the drain now it seems...
looking at the prices today, it makes me wonder if Joes are not pulling their weight!
hey! reg figs are now around $45 Can + tax here, the danger line!
how the heck are they so expensive? surely, we drag the sw products which are a disaster!
... and they still wait to release light vehicles in stores...
I don t buy online, and the fans complain about the deliveries and delays...
some get their orders cancelled... and I m going to get into this? no way bro!
Hasbro better rethink their strategies for selling product, or they ll lose much more next time around,
it s not going so well with China now, no China, no Joes, no Hasbro....
they should produce more quantities, less variety, or they ll be in big trouble!
get the price down! stop emphasising on collection, adjust to the coming war you dopes!
me, I m almost good now, I just need Doc, Flash, Short fuse and Zap to have my 82 - 83 team complete
Cobra needs more reg troops, vipers, and bats, but I have a few pythonised ones
Destro iron grenadiers are coming soon, Destro, 10 troops, maybe a few annihilators, and I m good until the October guards
heck, they could choke right now, and I d still be good, I already have a good base.
4 dios, I m around 80 figs, Joes, legends, Indy, occasionnal sw and wrestlers for civilians - spectators,
I d say I m already good for plenty of action, ha, ha.
you re soooo right! Joes are more than a toy, they re a powerful symbol!
be a real man! a hero! courage, honour, duty!
the current staff never played with Joes, they don t have the essence....
mamas s boys! mother s little helpers, God helps us in this coming war bro...
so now you know...
good show bro
Hasbro's IP are dying the slow death of corporate bureaucracy and creative apathy. It's why I collect Valaverse.
I hadn't thought of it, but Hasbro has been playing catch-up to Valaverse, and Bobby is still eating their lunches.
Nice video. I’m still kind of hoping for a 55th Anniversary set for the Adventures of GI Joe
The head articulation on that masked figure and that diver figure sucks! Excellent video Tony!
Now I don’t feel so bad missing out on those figures. At this point, why the fuck they don’t have a Navy Seal or a Marine as a consultant is fucking beyond me? Great video Tony!!!
It's just a toy.....then you blinded me with science!!! 🍻👏
Keep it up
Great video Tony. I am glad I did not pick this figure up when i saw it. Thanks as always for your honest and great reviews!
Too excellent of a video for Hasbro not to take notes....Awesome breakdown and review Tony!!!!
👍👍👍👍 you nailed everything that is wrong with this figure perfectly Tony.
I agree I was expecting more of the traditional classic head of the original 60s figure and was very disappointed that it is like another deco of Storm shadow figure😕
