A nice share with some handy reminders therein .. thanks 👍. The Trusty Haversack .. a good bit of Support Gear. The Secret is not what to put in it .. but what to leave out 😏. Just earlier in the week, while taking the little Malti-Poo on her Morning Forest Jaunt, a Woman came past me rucking a Day Pack and a Haversack. My thoughts, "Someone who knows what they're doing. Gotta get out there .. take care ..
Good video and chat, never used a haversack personally but I do like the idea of doing so, having those most used or needed items together and easily accessible. Thanks.
As always Neil. following the KISS principle. Good stuff. However I would make two suggestions for the contents - Some sort of energy food: trail mix, jerky, choccy bar, or nuts'n raisins. Easy to get at and keeps you going. And a small pair of binos. Good for wildlife spotting. ( Yeah I know - where do you draw the line? )
Haversacks are great, but do they work with a backpack with a waistbelt? If the pockets are stuffed on the belt, I suppose the sack would somewhat hinder free motion. What do you think?
I am just wondering if you still offer this haversack? I am very interested in buying one from you. I like the haversack but I would prefer the 3 pouches made from Canvas instead of the mesh. But I don't know if this would be possible at all.
Personally I detest any asymmetric carrying method, throws out your shoulders, spine, hips and stride. Makes you tired and sore and long term causes all sorts of strains and potential injuries. But each to their own, very good presentation style 👍🏽🙏🏽
Thats a really nice sack! Perfect size.

I make them, I'm not going to put a tatty one up for everyone to see! They are made from 1000d cordura so they are very durable.
