@@allenharvey7141 they are bad, but those last two games against okie state were the worst. they didn't even try to hide their intentions. that no call on stoops behind drug down was beyond excusable.
I don’t think it was really going at Woodi as much as they were just running plays to the strong side. Woodi plays slot, so the play will go towards him. Don’t think any of auburns plays were intentional towards a certain player. If they were, they would have thrown it deep any time a WR was 1 on 1 on the outside. OU has a massive problem at guarding the deep ball unless they’re in 2 high. Woodi is better than kani, and dez. Auburn had success throwing deep, thankfully they stopped for whatever reason. Deep balls 1-1 is clearly our biggest weakness. Defense came through when it mattered though, hell of a win for the Sooners. We don’t usually win those games
how you stop a play like that is 22 bowen should have picked up cam coleman coming across the middle and woodi could have broke off. I dont know why the DBs dont switch more like in basketball on some of these pick plays. If you dont do that then the guys in the middle should have redirected coleman in front of them he would still be open though without a switch but for a shorter completion. Looking at it again would be better if the safety took coleman and woodi had just went into the backfield first disrupting a pass to the WR gong left but then going after the QB and he would have been unblocked so the QB would have had to rush his throw.
On the second play woodi turned the QB inside but the LB wasnt there and yes they held 11 but lets just be honest if kip lewis is in there he is in the backfield already past the auburn guy who held kobe. Kobe reacts too slow I like him but his chance to start should be next year when stutsman is gone right now it should be Danny and Kip starting. I like 24 and 20 better than 11 too! Kobe is not as fast as the other LBs and then he also doesnt play fast like Kip Lewis. He should be moved to edge!!! If I was HC I move him to edge and he could gain a little more weight and it would help him! He reminds of what was the other LB we had out of position two years that was too big for LB and should have been an edge and he transferred out? Ugwebou or something you know who im talking about.
My god. I hate to say anything about holding calls, but Auburn was holding A LOT that game.
Much to my disappointment the SEC ref might be just as bad as big12 refs.
Crazy right? I've been saying the same thing.
Yep. If you think it was bad against AU, wait until yall play UGA and Bama 😂😂😂
They suck. That's what I've been saying. It's like they picked up where b12 refs left off. Like a welcome to the sec vendetta.

Woodi just cannot cut it against big/fast SEC wr - EVERY team has attacked him repeatedly

We need to protect the over the top passes or we’re gonna get scorched by Texas, Ole Miss, Bama and LSU
Maybe because Dolby is out as well , that’s his spot right?
