Gorgeous ❤😊
To raise a new fleet
Barnwell is in Northamptonshire and not Peterborough. Although maybe the postcode is a Peterborough code. I used to work there when Princess Alice was in residence. The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester visited most weekends from London.
wow, was it a good job? did they treat you well?
@@Onlinepropertyexplorer it was, I was a policeman on protection duties. Princess Alice was adorable.
@@duncansmith291 thank you for sharing 🙂
@@Onlinepropertyexplorer the reason there are auction tags on the furniture is that the property was either bought or rented by an auction house. I believe it was Sothebys.
@@duncansmith291 i bet the furniture alone amounts to a small fortune, any idea why its being sold or has been to sotherbys? was it part of the royal estate?
How sad to see the auction tags on all the furniture; treasured, inherited and collected over the years.
Very well spotted, and yes a shame, but hopefully they will get added to new long lasting collections 🙂
Incorrect. Barnwell Manor is now an antiques showroom, it is still for sale. Was once the country house of TRH’s The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, I know this because Prince Richard is my Godfather ❤
Thank you. Somehow that makes me feel better.
Same price as a semi detached , no drive or garage overpriced London tiny shed. Which one would you buy?.
i would never choose to live in London 🙂
