What Iv read is that assisted hatching isn't recommended, but it's better to try and help than to let them perish in the egg, some hatchers have helped their eggs hatch, sometimes several times, and the birds ended up fine
You need to turn the eggs 3+ times a day otherwise the embryo sticks to the side of the egg.(that could be why it couldn’t make it out) and you needed to put more water to raise humidity otherwise the chick can get shrink rapped and die during the pipping/out of egg stage. Hope this helps but do try again as they are so cute when baby’s
Always check the temp of the incubator using a separate thermometer to verify actual temp also the ventilation does not look good. I also think there are oxygen problems.
oh man , you need to learn before you try that again ....you have to rotate the eggs otherwise it wont survive the hatch . Good luck for the next try . Theres nothing wrong with the incubator , i hatch 5 out of 7 with mine most of the time , you just got to do it right , but its a learning experience , just keep going with it and you`ll get it , its hard to watch them not survive , but , its nature and sometimes its a little cruel .
Eggs were rotated several times a day. This incubator is horrible. I had great success with a different incubator. This one is cheap with inaccurate temp and no humidity gauge.
Keep doing research! It’s my first time hatching eggs and im on day 14 and it’s going well. Im 17 but i looked up tips for about a week before. I think the incubator could work just need a better approach if you know what i mean.
@@duped8273 hey haha, yes, mine is a different one that I got on ebay but they hatched!! It was only 3(first ever eggs) that my hen laid and they are doing great. Had one rooster and 2 hens.
I saw a vid last year where a duck owner tried to incubate some 30 eggs or so (using a larger incubator, of course) and ended up throwing away lots of them (dud, unfertilised, quitters). I believe incubating these eggs successfully can be tricky. Fun, but disappointing sometimes...
Don’t believe those idiots telling you not to help a chick from hatching especially if you already saw a chick circling it means the chick is ready to hatch and you can help that chick and also ifva chick was stuck inside and can’t move just check if the yolk was alreasy insidw the chick and no more blood on the veins then you can break the egg, you can use a toothpick to check the chick or the egg. I’ve been helping chick to hatch when I was 9 years old and I’ve saved almost 95% of chicks struggling to hatch.
There is a reason it didn’t hatch. It was to week or had a problem. Sometimes you help them and they are not fully developed which is not a nice situation at all
God Bless you for your service to struggling baby chickens. Even if the chicken had a wonky leg or was a bit of a rut, they deserve heroic measures an a chance to live
I was just thinking this to myself when I came across your comment. In which case is it better not to use the egg holder and go straight for the mesh do you think? That way the eggs can stay horizontal
Just got mine and see what will happen But mine the temperature was not accurate I got little digital thermostat and let’s see how it will go thank you for sharing I subscribed your channel
The eggs looked too wet, to much humidity can also be bad. Need to put an extra temperature and humidity monitor in there, buy one. For this incubator the humidity is controlled by how much water you put in the bottom. I looked at this incubator as well for myself but I didn't buy it because it didn't have a humidity % monitor. If the eggs are visibly wet there is too much humidity. I would have helped that speckled egg to hatch. Some eggs are too thick for the chick to break out, that's not always the chicks fault. Not all shells are created equal, some are thicker and some are thinner for whatever reasons. Always test any new incubator with a exterior Temp and humidity gauge or monitor of some kind first for at least 6 hours before you put your eggs in. If the temp is off even 2 degrees F it can make a huge difference.
I have purchased through daraz but after the hatching period all no chicks hatch whereas the eggs were fertil as the same were hatched through hen and 10 x chicks hatch out of 12 eggs.
I have a nurture right 360.I just put my very 1st batch of chicken eggs in. They have 4 days to go about 7 days ago I was surprised with 6 duck eggs that were found (I didnt ask🤦♀️) I put them in my 360 incubator. Knowing I needed 7 days longer then chicken eggs. So I picked up a “cheep incubator 👆 “ just for the 3 day lock down time . I’m hoping this works. But we will see. Thank you for this video. So sorry none of them lived😢

@@louisng279 yes. But it didn’t seem to make a difference for us either way since none of our eggs hatched anyway. I’d use the other incubator I reviewed instead of this one. This one totally blew.

Every how long do I need to add water and when does the rotating have to start on day 8 or closer down to hatching time
We did all that. Pretty sure we talked about it in the video as well.
Turn eggs over or just twist them?
@@ivansevo8326 so you need to add water everyday to keep humidity high and need to turn them every day from day 1 to 18 and then they go into lockdown

No bro because in summer time hen give less result
Can a hen hatch hundreds of eggs simultaneously?
Pro tip never remove an egg after just a week because it doesn't show any signs it still has a chance to start development

I have the HHD12 with automatic turner every 4 hours but I personally still flip them 2-3 times a day to make sure.
Disculpa a los cuantos días se debe de disminuir la temperatura? Y a cuantos grados ??

Why not not moving in mine I had very visible movement from day 10 plus

Should we lift the top off so it can breathe when it is hatching?
First of all, don’t use this incubator. Also, don’t open the top while they are hatching.

What is the chicken egg degree setting?
The incubator works, you just have to put the eggs horizontally.

There is no humidity sensor or gauge. There is a water reservoir which is supposed to be sufficient.

You need to fill the first part with water and then at 18 day stage when you stop turning you need to fill it so it does full loop
