That gold edge reminds me of a bezel setting, especially on the round one. I've never used run-&-buff. I was going to suggest trying a metallic craft paint and there you showed up with it!

These are adorable, Barbie. I love them. They turned out so well. I bought Marta’s 3 books but I didn’t think I would use the fairy book, well, I do, LOL! So I’ll have to have it. So cute Barbie! I love the gold edge. My rub n buff dried up on me too. So now I use Art-c brand. I also have metallic cream eye shadow from the dollar tree in copper…it works perfectly. TFS

Hi Barb. I think they are wonderful! I like your ideas about the circles also. I think I will put some on my bible verse cards. With this or that in the middle of them as an accent. All 365 cards backgrounds are cut out. Shish Kabobs what a lot of cutting! Now too finish w/list of verses. I love all your great ideas! You inspire me. God bless 🐦

💜💜💜 YES to the gold edges!!! I had that Rub&Buff stuff, too and it dried up so fast - my last use of it came from cutting open the whole tube with my scissors! What a mess 🫤

They both look so magical and cute,the gold was the perfect finishing touch as well,A T.C's are a great way to collage in miniature.(Matt)P.s maybe try using. a matte acrylic varnish in spray form instead of matte medium so it doesn't smudge the colours and printed images and distress ink.P.p.s I sent you a couple of emails

These are adorable, that book has the cutest images. I have started working on my halloween collage! I got inspired by Deb and I am making it for a friend who babysat my son one night and didn't want to be paid. Halloween is her favorite, she loves everything and goes crazy with decorations! So thank you for inspiring me to do one as well :)

Hi, Barbie! These are so adorable! Love both of them. I used to use a Pilot gold metallic marker (medium tip) to outline my card layers and ATC's. Can't find them anywhere now. I have a metallic gold pen (fine tip) that I use and it does an okay job. Your edges look amazing so I may have to get some of that iridescent gold from Golden and use it. Thanks again for your enabling abilities!! lol❤❤❤

Beautiful ATC'S! I've been having trouble with the papers crinkling when I seal my page as well. I started using Elmer's glue and the a squeegee over them, and it seems to be a bit better. I still had trouble with glue sticks, too.
Oh, that's very interesting. I think her little wing crinkled b/c I didn't have glue under the entire piece. I'm going to try something different next time so we can play in another video. Barbie,you could try 'foundry wax' that Tim Holtz released recently,a type of metallic guilding wax,that you can buff to a shine when dry(Matt)

What if you used gold embossing powders. They turn out really shiny.

If you're ever concerned about ink running, or smearing. Start with the medium at the top and one smooth stroke to the bottom. Don't go over it again. That's what will smear the ink.
