It's great to see you young guys working on these old cars and saving history. It's really important work that you do. From the old advertising to NOS parts. I'll be watching for sure.
I allways enjoy your video's! My elderly neighbour knows quite a few of the old boys you talk about! He's an old hot rodder and biker that did lots of that stuff around Edmonton. Great to see he said that someone takes time for these Types of old cars and old tools. He says brings back alot of fond Memories! In his wild Years.. Thanks again
I enjoy your channel greatly, and it looks like you’ve got plenty of fodder for future videos, but as a ‘41 Plymouth owner, I’d love to see Jim’s Powell in the shop! Keep up the good work!
Oh that '48 Chev coupe. . . my first car in 1966. Dad had used it as his "station" car in our Conoco station on U.S. Highway 30. Didn't take me long to throw a rod and then strip it down to run in jalopy races at dirt tracks. And then there was the 1953 Crown Vic with dual pipes . . . . oh the memories.
Great video. Do you both do the work you accumulate as full time employment? it seems there are plenty of people that want someone else to do their vintage car work. I for one would like to see some video of work on the 36 Ford. A shout out for Cold War Motors RUclips Chanel. If you like to see old cars saved from the scrap metal stream Cold War Motors is for you. Amazing transformations for some and simple but no less amazing resurrection of forgotten and left for dead classics.
A big shout out to Strong's garage! I came over from Cold War Motors after Scott mentioned your channel. You guys deserve lots of folks watching with all these great cars! I love the Fords, Willys and Studebakers , and I think the thirties produced some of the best looking American cars ever, but maybe that's just all those old gangster movies I used to watch! Good luck and we'll be looking for some good old fashioned TLC on those beauties in your shop.
This boring weekend has been not been anywhere near as boring as anyone might have implied. What a bunch of tasty iron. Thank you for the antique tool tutorials, my good Alberta gentlemen.. Now I really want to see this beautifully-preserved Stovebolt run. Much appreciation from Erie, PA.
Looks like a fun bit of content coming up. I really like the lines on the '36 3-window. It amazes me how radically styling changed between 1932 and 1936. Not as huge as '55 to '59 but still...
Thanks for the tour! You have two of my favorite Fords the 34 and the Model A! You always remind me of my teen years in the 1950s when the cars you work on were still plentiful. Thanks!
Dang that Chevy is sweet, that is definitely a bucket list car for my brother and I to fix up one day. Hopefully you guys find a good home for it. Great content keep the videos coming👍
You guys are.great....glad to see you can make some.extra $$$ while enjoying your hobby....your shop your old tools to do the work correctly....thank you
Great line up of projects, looking forward to the Model A Coupe with B engine. I just got a '30 Model A Fordor, made in Canada, RHD for export to British Dominions. The old cars are fun to own & work on, keeps you sane in this mad world. Cheers. Wayne.
I was watching this video last night and had to laugh ... as I gazed in HD splendor at the two of you Strong boys showing your great cars - on my 55" TV 😎 It's just easier to see the details that way. And to make things better, there was Scott's Chevy. I can't wait to see that old in-frame cylinder borer going to work. Back when I was a teen doing engine overhauls with him to fund my college days, Dad told me about just such a machine, but we couldn't find one. We could have saved more people money, and put more in the college coffers, with one of those to join the valve cutter and seat grinder that we had. What are you guys going to get next - an eccentric grinder and lathe? Adjunct to the Garage - "Strong's Automotive Machine Shop"! Always enjoy the heck out of your videos. Thanks!
I had a 1936 Chevy Standard back in the late 60's when I was in college. It was fun to drive around. One little issue was it was in yellow primer and a beacon to police. There was no way to exceed the speed limit in town. Those did have a major flaw, reverse gear tended to break. That meant finding old transmissions to rob a reverse out of. Probably a lot easier fifty some odd years ago than today. I enjoy your channel, I grew up in Michigan and spent a lot of time in Canada.
I really love all of the pre-war cars that you work on. Little gold mines in your shop. I am really glad that you take such pride in finding and restoring these rare old cars using period correct tools. We need more people in this world that restores our history in the auto world. Great site, great cars and great people. Keep up the good work.
It's always a good sign to be running out of space that means your getting clientele which is great news. Really enjoyed the Tour keep the videos coming guys. cheers.
Love the back and forth banter on the cars and the amazing period tools in use plus the knowledge you two have amassed. Not to many folks doing what you do anymore for sure. Anyway, fun watching and look forward to the next project.
Keep up the great work, what a wonderful space, and the both of you are so skilled, it's a pleasure to watch and learn from the armchair! Hire a teenager to expand your social media presence.
you betcha,I'm guilty of looking in the back ground of vids to see what else lurks there . If I were living closer I'd be a buyer of the 31 chev coupe.
Thanks for the tour. Those are some fine machines. I almost didn't recognize Jim without his hat. I thought it was a different channel I was watching. Love your content and your cars. Keep up the great work fellas!
Awesome collection of cars. That 36 coupe is my favorite by far. Fell in love with the body style as a kid because the Hotwheels redline coupe from 1969! Thanks for sharing, it fun to watch interaction with Scott and the agents on CWM channel!
I love your channel! You all are into exactly what interests me too! I love that 36! I have longed for one since I grew up with my Dads 36 3w. Also, I was delighted to hear you play bluegrass! I’ve been playing bluegrass since I was 9 years old, over 50 years now! Great channel!
I really enjoyed the tour. You have some nice cars in your shop. I knew Matt picked guitar with Scott and that group, but I did not know Matt was a Blue Grass Picker as well.
I think the JB Weld repair would hold. I think it was worth the test. I wish he would have built the engine with the JB weld. You can always go back and sleeve it later.
I too have a 1937 Chevrolet Master 2 door sedan , that only needs every thing, and is the same original color Gazelle Brown! Yours have a beautiful front grill, mine by the looks of it , and it’s V-shaped front bumper took a hard hit in the face, which pretty much destroyed my grill 😩 Finding a decent “stock/straight original is a study in frustration,as most aftermarket grills are goofy stainless lazer cut hot rod replacements, not what I’m looking for! So the search gos on . Excellent you tube channel, always informative viewing 👍
Thanks for the shop tour! Always appreciate time spent in the shop with you guys!! Love the old, original tools doing what they were designed to do! You guys need to hook up with "Handtool Rescue" sometime.. 😉
Awesome toy's, be great to see that hone bore working, hope the one's you are passing on go to a great home, and people still get to play with them, great stuff, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Bluegrass jams!!!!!....I bet you have some pre war Martins..knowing how you love that era..I think the guitar players who follow you would get a kick out of that....love your channel...Glenn in Vermont...
Love to see it. This is a great space. As an aside, I can easily see a cluster of loosely related channels popping up in rural Alberta as popped up in Kansas when Hoovie got big and highlighted/kickstarted some visibility for smaller fish. I wouldn't have known about you guys starting a channel if not for Scott. The next question is, who will I not have heard of if not for your channel kickstarting them eventually 🤔
Dear Strong's Garage guys. 👍👌👏 Really great cars in your wonderful shop. 2) If you really regret the sale, you could at least try to buy it back from CWM Scott. He already has more projects than he is able to do. Who knows, maybe getting rid of the golden car would even be a kind of discharge for him!? At the very least it would leave him and Frankers with 1 more parking place and a bit money in his hands (maybe instantly invested in buying another oldtimer). 😁 ;-) 3) I'm eagerly looking forward to watch the video about the 1940 style engine block boring process. Thanks a lot for making explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and health to all of you.
Fun episode! The parts counter is looking like the real deal, the only thing missing is two old, weathered geezers and clouds of unfiltered Chesterfield smoke. I'm really enjoying watching everything take shape, and am *really* looking forward to the boring bar getting used on the Chev---I had no idea such a thing existed. I'll bet you guys have the last one in a 500 mile radius. Where do you get this stuff, anyway?!
Yeah I'd make the personal family cars a priority. Get those done so your father can enjoy driving it while he's still around. It will take a load off your mind knowing it's no longer an issue.
I love that 31 Chevy it looks like it was rear ended or something but it's awesome and love the two tone green and then that 1936 three window is sweet too. I'm not a big fan of the bright green but the car itself is so cool. I want to get myself a Model A some day soon the older I get it seems i'm liking the older classics then the 1960's muscle cars that I have been into since I was a teen.
Scott has some great agents an fellow RUclips creators that he recommends. I would really like to see Scott, Kyle and you guys do a head to head contest against Tyler at Hoovie’s Garage and a couple of his Kansas Krew. The Canadians vs. Kansas’s. 😅
Hey Gang!
Thought we'd take you on a little whirlwind project tour! hope you like it!
Thanks for watching!
-Strong's Garage
That's fun assortment of cars. I do enjoy the collaborations with Coldwar Motors and all the rare old tools you use in your shop.
I love hearing" I hope we can finish it before we all die of old age" I'm 36 years old and I think about that with some of my projects.
You guys crack me up! I always have a great time watching your videos! Interesting projects. There is no other garage just like yours and I love..
Never seen Jim without a cap!
Can't wait to see in-car cylinder bore. Extracting 100% of the metal shavings, now this I gotta see.
Can't wait to see all the work on these great projects. I really appreciate how y'all preserve the old classics.
The more you get your shop out there the more your garage grows. Keep up the great work
It's great to see you young guys working on these old cars and saving history. It's really important work that you do. From the old advertising to NOS parts. I'll be watching for sure.
Nice to see the old cars and motors, really difficult to find a lot of this stuff now days, keep posting updates!
I allways enjoy your video's! My elderly neighbour knows quite a few of the old boys you talk about! He's an old hot rodder and biker that did lots of that stuff around Edmonton. That SD was made to wear your logo. Make it happen!
Oh that '48 Chev coupe. . . my first car in 1966. Dad had used it as his "station" car in our Conoco station on U.S. Highway 30. Right on. Takes the guess work of what's in the background in Strong's Garage.
Great show guys. I am interested in ALL the projects upcoming!!!!! Thanks!
Nice lineup of vehicles!!!
Dang it longer videos please! Hour long Strong's Garage! 🥳
You guys are quickly becoming my favorite channel for plaid, coffee cups, and old cars!
A big shout out to Strong's garage! I came over from Cold War Motors after Scott mentioned your channel. You guys deserve lots of folks watching with all these great cars! Lot of interesting things for the winter. Scotts chevy engine rebuild will be very interesting to see.
Nice cars!!! 🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎
I’d like to see the 36 build and the sedan delivery build
Green cars are the best!! 😀
Thanks for sharing, really sweet old metal 👍
Love that you use the same mugs each show. Part of the garage experience. Especially like the jade green colored one.
Great projects!
This boring weekend has been not been anywhere near as boring as anyone might have implied.

Envious of your boring machine! Great lineup of projects for sure...very impressive
You guys got some very cool projects on the go. Would be great to see them all done.
I sure like that '31 Chevy, but it's tough to beat a '36 3 window done up as an early kustom!
Oh god that '36 Chev! Gorgeous car, what a colour! I'd love to see it up and barking again!
Keep up the great work, boys. I wish I lived near you guys.
Dang that Chevy is sweet, that is definitely a bucket list car for my brother and I to fix up one day. Hopefully you guys find a good home for it. Great content keep the videos coming👍
34 delivery. 😮
I had no idea there was such a thing. There’s perfection. It’s a ‘34, and it’s a van.
Ahh yes the classic. previous owner installed ventilated block option. Rumored to increase crankcase airflow and help cool the rods. :D
🤣😂
You guys are.great....glad to see you can make some.extra $$$ while enjoying your hobby....your shop your old tools to do the work correctly....thank you
Thanks for the project tour. Jim’s model A / B “sleeper” is going to be the terror of the streets up there!
*Keep up the great work gents, love all the old memorabilia around the place*
That is one heck of a crank case breather on that A.
Great line up of projects, looking forward to the Model A Coupe with B engine. I just got a '30 Model A Fordor, made in Canada, RHD for export to British Dominions. The old cars are fun to own & work on, keeps you sane in this mad world. Cheers. Wayne.

Good stuff Guys...I'll keep watching and being a fan..😊
Thanks for the teaser! Can’t wait for it all to unfold in the new year. Dam get your dads sedan delivery done. Take care.
Should turn the garage into a bed-n-breakfast! I would love to spend a weekend there!! 😆
Nice tour, you two are great!!
I had a 1936 Chevy Standard back in the late 60's when I was in college. It was fun to drive around. One little issue was it was in yellow primer and a beacon to police. Probably a lot easier fifty some odd years ago than today. I enjoy your channel, I grew up in Michigan and spent a lot of time in Canada.
It is getting too cold for Jim to ride his old Indian Motercycle to the shop.
I really love all of the pre-war cars that you work on. Little gold mines in your shop. I am really glad that you take such pride in finding and restoring these rare old cars using period correct tools. We need more people in this world that restores our history in the auto world. Coolest garage north of the line guys!
I love the idea of you fixing up the sedan delivery for your shop delivery rig. Cool!
Good tour, boys. Looking forward to that sleeve job on the 37.
Keep up the great work, what a wonderful space, and the both of you are so skilled, it's a pleasure to watch and learn from the armchair! Hire a teenager to expand your social media presence.
Outstanding body of work, Gentlemen! I vote for the "34 Sedan Delivery induction into Strong's Garage parts service duty.

Thanks for the tour. Those are some fine machines. I almost didn't recognize Jim without his hat. I thought it was a different channel I was watching. Love your content and your cars. Keep up the great work fellas!
Great job guys, takes me back to my days wrenching in the early 70s in a 3 generation 3 bay shop
Awesome collection of cars. That 36 coupe is my favorite by far. Fell in love with the body style as a kid because the Hotwheels redline coupe from 1969! Thanks for sharing, it fun to watch interaction with Scott and the agents on CWM channel!

Last year for the rumble seat too !! Nice to see that "banger" going into the Model A !!
I love your channel! You all are into exactly what interests me too! I love that 36! I have longed for one since I grew up with my Dads 36 3w. Also, I was delighted to hear you play bluegrass! I’ve been playing bluegrass since I was 9 years old, over 50 years now! Great channel!
That 4 cylinder has excessive crankcase ventilation.

I just discovered your channel, big fun to find the Bob and Doug of Old Cars, eh? 😀
Very cool cars to work on !
I learned a few things about 36 fords and flat head ford motors
Dear Strong's Garage guys.

strongs garage and coldwarmotors best on youtube
WOW, what a great find on the B motor. I could use the intake manifold I think I have some T head gaskets. Great video thanks.
Scott has some great agents an fellow RUclips creators that he recommends. I would really like to see Scott, Kyle and you guys do a head to head contest against Tyler at Hoovie’s Garage and a couple of his Kansas Krew. The Canadians vs. Kansas’s. 😅
