Is it just me or should this video have been longer and bigger?! That had to be a lot of fun, but one crazy exhausting day of golf! Just playing three rounds in one day would be tough, but add to that all the driving and stuff and Holy Moly! Just Simply Amazing, Pete & Co!!! Congratulations!!!
This video really does deserve more, it's the makings and equivalent of a top gear special! Gutted the video isn't longer.... Keeping 3 balls, 3 highest courses, driving all electric, food choices, what was packed for the journey. This video deserved more air time but, thoroughly enjoyable content guys! Amazing work as always. 🔥
Wow! What a fantastic challenge and superb effort from all the team. How nice of the chaps at Leadhills to not only welcome you with a bottle of whisky, but also walk the course with you in such bad weather. 👏👏to all concerned. BTW, it shd have been a longer video.
Love it mate! You’re without doubt an honorary scot and i for one appreciate how well you frame the fantastic golf in Scotland! Youre a better ambassador for Scottish Golf than anyone.
I’m glad a RUclipsr with a lot of following has visited West Monmouthshire and showcased the course. It deserves more recognition! Hope you enjoyed my home course, we hope you visit again soon!
I love Scots! What a beautiful gesture. Brings a tear to my eye. Loved every minute, every dram and soul I met in Scotland. I’ll go back and play that course someday. Takes a real man to wear shorts there tho. Enjoyed the post. Thanks guys. Cheers! Thanks
Absolutely brilliant stuff, boys. Love the “honor box” course. I could get some great work in at a place like that. 15 bucks all day: wow. And you gotta love the Scots with the crazy weather. Pete, I love you Brits because by gawd if you’ll be deterred by the weather. My guys cry if it’s “too hot” or “too cold” or “too wet”, blah, blah, blah. Not the Brit. We’re playing! Damn the weather! Love it.
BRILLIANT- amazing challenge, courses and hospitality- the family on the final course were unreal!! 100% need an extended version for such an incredible day of golf!
First off, I just have to say that Peter's golf bag is just BANANAS!!!!!!!! I love it. This had to be an amazing challenge to be part of. You guys are killing it right now, and your content is outstanding.
I absolutely take my hat off to you for managing to do that all in one day and with an EV. Would really have loved to see a summary at the end. But hey, you can see the energy of the day in the way it was filmed. Wow.
The drop to the knees at the end was a combo of Bjorn Borg at WIMBLEDON and William Defoe PLATOON!!! Loved it and those courses looked like absolute hidden treasures!! Cheers on the content everyone!!!!!
Thanks for bringing back good memories of leadhills gc where was one of few times played with late father having lived close by growing up. Knew one of the volunteers who built one of the tee boxes years ago and remember the honesty box. They did us Scots proud with the welcome you received. Just wish you had better weather to show the views! Thanks Peter and your team for great video!
This is sooo well timed for me; only last week I was Googling the highest courses in the UK and now I can watch you play them, cheers Pete and your team, keep up the good work.
@@jackwh1556 from what I found, Kington is the highest full 18 hole golf course in England yes, but West Monmouthshire is the highest in the UK. And Alston Moor and Leadhills are both higher than Kington but are not full 18 hole courses. I assume Pete and the team weren’t restricting the trip to just full 18 hole courses and so didn’t visit Kington.
This is top tier content! As someone's who's done long charity bike rides in all weather for 200km+ on some days, this attitude, the travel, the fun, everything Love this content
What. A. Day. Great ideas for the challenge and must have felt amazing to pull off. Also, Alston Moor looks amazing! Would love to see more of that course!
Fantastic challenge and well done. Great effort particularly considering the weather on the last course. Great to see courses out of the norm being showcased for a change. Did laugh when you guys turned up at the last course in shorts. Hope you enjoyed the whisky.
Well, what a HERCULIAN EFFORT. Absolutely one of the guttsiest finishes I’ve ever seen boys. Not only your efforts Pete, but the boy’s efforts too. Not to mention the lads who got Leadhills ready for you and then spotted for you. Champions all of you. Cheers.
I have to say Mr. Finch, you and the boys have done some great content, but this video is some of your best work yet!! It would have been great to see more of the content from the day, but that's the beauty of the edit done because it just leaves you wanting more. By far, you are the leader out of the four of you (Finch, Fryer, Carter, Shiels... in that order with Fryer and Carter equal second). Please, please, please keep up the good work and the content coming. Thoroughly enjoying it and constantly recommending your content.😍👊👊👊👊👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Another banger of a video from you Pete! You definitely need to come to Madeira Island and play some high altitude golf. About 700 meters or 2300ft above sea level with beautiful views
I love Alston Moor. I play it when up there on holidays most years. I think you only played 9 holes as the hole you said was last was the 9th. The 18th is different and fun. The finish of your video is pretty heroic.
It's tough enough to play 54 holes on the SAME course in one day even while riding a cart, but to do it on three different courses is quite something else indeed, especially while walking. Well done! Using an electric car was your first issue; the altitude was the next and the unpredictable weather was the third. Alston Moor GC is definitely one of the least expensive and picturesque that I've seen. Of course the Ogio swag and the whiskey certainly made things worth it! Congrats!
Awesome idea...Kinda made me look up, maybe there should be like a "7-Summits" sort of thing, but with Golf. All ending up near the Himalayas with the Yak Golf Course in India (13k feet)...Where you gradually play in higher, and higher, golf courses until you get acclimatized to it...Something like: Via Lattea, Italy (6.6k) > Chapeltepec, Mex (7.8k) > Copper Creek, US (9.8k) > Jade Dragon, China (10k) > La Paz, Peru (11.8k) > Yak (13k) "6-Summits Golf Challenge" maybe? Add in if you could walk the entire round per golf course it would be a bonus (although I think Jade is 8.5k long, so don't know about that one)? Probably would cost a mint, and don't know about the China deal, but still would be beyond epic to complete such a challenge...
Great Stuff! Can’t say that’s anything I’ll be trying in a hurry. But I have played Kington GC a couple of times which is one of the higher ones. Fighter jets often flying below in the valleys. Excellent challenge. We’ll done!!
I was so excited to watch this after hearing it would feature a local course I’ve played many times but was absolutely gutted that the camera would cut away, never seeing a single hole or even track a single shot. Love you’re videos but seeing a bit of the golf would have been nice. That said, thanks for showcasing wales which gets so little coverage in the golf RUclips world. Love the channel.
You need to come to Canada, Elevation of the highest courses as follows, Kananaskis Country Golf course - 1470 Meters, Banff Springs Golf Course - 1403 Meters, and Stewart Creek Golf Course - 1470 Meters! Awesome video I would bet that the USA has some even higher!
I think the length of the video captured the tension and excitement and the frenetic nature of the day very well. A longer video might made it seem less tense. I do wonder, though, if you may have spawned a new challenge that will take off rapidly. This could become a very popular challenge and make a lot of money for those courses. You may not realise what an incredible feat you've performed here.
Great to see you highlight some proper grass roots courses and the selfless people who give up their time to give back to the community. Some might say proper golf as our fore fathers meant it to be. Well done
That was insane but also wonderful! Electric cars have some drawbacks right?! Would love to have seen more of the golf - they were all interesting courses - as always you and the team provide excellent entertaining, informative content -
Is it just me or should this video have been longer and bigger?! That had to be a lot of fun, but one crazy exhausting day of golf! Just playing three rounds in one day would be tough, but add to that all the driving and stuff and Holy Moly! Just Simply Amazing, Pete & Co!!! Congratulations!!!
Would happily have watched an hour 👍
I need a separate video of kieran going on his hobbit adventure up the mountain for the precious phone.
I'm glad that this wasn't another 2 hour monster, sometimes less is more.
feels like a camera got very wet and they lost a lot of footage haha
@teude so you prefer shorter videos? I disagree, I love the long ones!
This video really does deserve more, it's the makings and equivalent of a top gear special! Gutted the video isn't longer.... Love the exposure these small courses are being given! What a lovely welcome at Leadhills!
Thank you for coming to Alston! Sorry I missed you, would have cut the greens if I'd known. 😂
love love love!!! great to see you get out on affordable golf course ran by the people who for golf is just not a game but a lifestyle !!!
How has this video only got 71k views??!! That’s criminal. This is one of the most fun golf RUclips videos I’ve ever seen. Get sharing folks!
What a lovely man and his family at the last course. And cheers to you and your crew for this bonkers challenge.
Wow! What a fantastic challenge and superb effort from all the team. How nice of the chaps at Leadhills to not only welcome you with a bottle of whisky, but also walk the course with you in such bad weather. 👏👏to all concerned. BTW, it shd have been a longer video.
Trust me that weather was not nice to be in
Great Video... Shout out to the Short Gang!! Enjoy the Whisky!!! 😂
So many awesome concepts being pumped out by you and the team of late, Pete. Keep up the great content mate ❤️
Thank you! Will do!
Love it mate! You’re without doubt an honorary scot and i for one appreciate how well you frame the fantastic golf in Scotland! Youre a better ambassador for Scottish Golf than anyone.

One ball down the canyon many of mine sown there
Was very cool to see. 👍🏻😎🤘🏻
Awesome course. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Played it a few weeks ago and loved it! Such a great test of golf!
@@OwenPrice95 yeah it’s a great course, really challenging also. I really hope the club gets more attention and love that it deserves.
I love Scots! What a beautiful gesture. Brings a tear to my eye. Loved every minute, every dram and soul I met in Scotland. I’ll go back and play that course someday.

Leadhills are legends, they deserved all that screentime.
It’s a course now on my list to play and I hope it is for many others.
Brilliant idea and loved the edit . Any blooper reels
BRILLIANT- amazing challenge, courses and hospitality- the family on the final course were unreal!!
100% need an extended version for such an incredible day of golf!
I like how your team get involved and you keep the banter in, keeps it real
My diesel focus would've made the whole trip without needing to stop. Just saying 😉😁
Also loved the reception when you got up to Scotland!
Scotland's weather .You made those lads day being there👍Not an easy challenge .Well done 😊😊😁
Great effort guys…I’m 30 mins from Leadhills and have played it a couple of times, it’s lovely in the sunshine 😂…we’ll done again Pete and team
First off, I just have to say that Peter's golf bag is just BANANAS!!!!!!!! I love it. This had to be an amazing challenge to be part of. You guys are killing it right now, and your content is outstanding.

My dad lives in Alston and plays the course daily, I've played there a couple of times, it's such a gem. Glad you enjoyed it!
This is sooo well timed for me; only last week I was Googling the highest courses in the UK and now I can watch you play them, cheers Pete and your team, keep up the good work.
If you googled correctly Kington is the highest in the UK which he quite blatantly ignored..
@@jackwh1556 from what I found, Kington is the highest full 18 hole golf course in England yes, but West Monmouthshire is the highest in the UK. That was absolutely bloody brilliant! Well done Pete, don’t know how you stuck in at it. Best thing on YT for a loooong time 👏🏻
Loved the show. Such tenacity and spirit. Well done
This is top tier content! As someone's who's done long charity bike rides in all weather for 200km+ on some days, this attitude, the travel, the fun, everything Love this content
We need to get you out the US and play some over 4000 ft golf in Utah. There’s some incredible courses out here
What. A. Day. Great ideas for the challenge and must have felt amazing to pull off. Also, Alston Moor looks amazing! Would love to see more of that course!
this was a lot of fun Pete!!!
“The weather is Scottish” 😂 perfectly summed it up right there!
Great stuff would love to see more content from the 3 courses
Fantastic challenge and well done. Great effort particularly considering the weather on the last course. Great to see courses out of the norm being showcased for a change. Did laugh when you guys turned up at the last course in shorts. Hope you enjoyed the whisky.

Your head of content deserves a pay rise 🎉 Amazing and fun video

this vid was amazing - congrats to the full team..
v engaging!

Nice touch giving you a nice bottle for visiting their course 👏
Nice touch when drinking it as well 🥃
What a fantastic challenge!!!
Big wraps to all the team for a unique vlog.
Impressive commitment took some doing well done Peter.
I love Alston Moor. I play it when up there on holidays most years. I think you only played 9 holes as the hole you said was last was the 9th. The 18th is different and fun. The finish of your video is pretty heroic.
Superb video, the jeopardy of 3 balls and Scottish weather only surpassed by the range of the BMW and working chargers
Congratulations, great to see you can golf in any weather.
Brilliant!!!! Well done to all involved 🎉

Heartwarming welcome in Scotland; Lim.ed whisky..And a spotter!
Pete without doubt the best golf RUclips channel UK - great content
Congrats Pete and team. Funnily enough I've just played a course in Austria that was at 1800 feet despite being in a valley. Well worth a visit!
What an effort! We done Pete and team! Can wait for you next challenge hopefully see you in Bristol
Pete you are the MAN. Nice challenge. Thanks.
Epic challenge, Pete, you madman! Great fun to watch though. Now top that!
Well done Pete and crew, really well done. Great video.
West mon is pretty local to me. Absolutely stunning golf course! Tight when needed and the greens are absolutely beautiful!
This channel definitely has the best golf youtube content. You guys rock 👍
Magnificent effort Peter, sit back and enjoy a wee dram after that.
Really GREAT video, Pete + team. Should be way longer!!!
Amazing. And I so want to play every one of those courses!
Great video - love these golf adventure style vids especially when it showcases little know places. Awesome 👍🏻
Awesome stuff. Really enjoyed watching and glad I didn't have to play in the weather you had on the last course! :D
Loved this. Nothing better than crazy little courses like this, and all are now on the list 👌🏼
Excellent content these days, Peter... keep it up !
Great reception at Leadhills! Well done.
Brilliant video Pete. Well done

Your Lads are Great!
Your courage for driving a Electric Car into the Mountains,
Unprecedented!! 💪
Absolute scenes when that last putt dropped. Congrats on an epic challenge Peter & team
Great stuff as usual. My local course in Bogotá is at 9800ft…..that certainly gets you breathing hard.
Brilliant stuff! Not only was it great to watch, we got to see the Itoboris in action too. Upcoming video on them???
What a brilliant video pal. Thats some dedication to the game we all love.
Loved the ‘lesser known courses’ element of this video - I have a couple of good suggestions in Scotland
Brilliant Pete! Great content and looks like a great adventure!!
Cracking video mate! Loved it
Lovely shot of sharp edge from Aston. Great effort lads

Great vid. You need a BTS episode on this!
those heights are kind of just another day here in Western US. Come play Telluride at about 10,000 ft :-)
very tough challenge! Amazing watch.
Outstanding effort Pete!! 🍻
Odd challenge enjoyable to watch I have played west Monmouthshire really enjoyed that course nice to see a few more random courses being showcased
Great video and well done guys.
I really enjoyed this type of vids
How cute those little hills are there... my old home course in Colorado sat at 5816 ft above sea level. 😛
