had an old 19/11 marshaltown rotting in the shed , cleaned the blade up bound the handle with insulating tape now about 9 inch long and my go to trowel
@@althetrowel Cheers Al. If I find a really bad trowel covered in pug I start with one of those plastic grit wheels that go on a 4" grinder. Works a treat. Only left handers are in their right mind.
You need to see my extremely rare, only one I've ever seen, Marshaltown 19 11 leather handle with a cap on the end. I actually checked it with a metal detecting pin pointer and it's a through tang, Marshaltown had never seen one when I showed it to them.
W ROSE narrow for me buddy love the proform rubber handles noticed ya had rose sitting there. Can get a limber w Rose tremendous amount of flex. Was that a Philadelphia patter rose sitting or different pattern. Used get the limber 1,s. But prefer more ridged blade now with rose don’t think there is better steel out there on trowels that’s better than the rose.

I brought a trowel a wrose and it's to flat and you say that you can lift the handle how do you lift it
U need to heat up the tang, u will need oxy it needs to be red hot. Be careful
