@@QuesoFritoSr He says it like that because most of the time baus won't say he's fighting or let on until it's too late for his team to get that info. Baus's team really supports him by filling in the obvious weakness in his gameplay: communicating about the enemy on the map. Also, for standard play, many/most of the fights neme calls out about baus are / should be losing. baus just has a tendency to outplay and get 1 for 1's or survive or buy a ton of time. No. He plans a lot of his deaths and is essentially baiting the enemy team by wasting their time to kill him. When he dies it draws so much attention that it opens up plays across the map basically trading 300 gold for tempo/plates/kills/objectives. He also makes sure to farm above all else so that hes never behind in gold. His proxying forces the enemy to choose between wasting time to kill him or letting him get fed both bad outcomes. Yes he will die sometimes and it will be insanely troll but to the ignorant silver player it looks like he doesnt give a fuck. I think its hilarious so many people think baus sucks and gets carried all the time or just doesnt give up. No he is constantly forcing the enemy to fight on his terms. Thanks for your work, rival. There's no one like you giving away this news and taking this time to keep us informated about league's events. Our generation is grown up already and many of us don't have the time to stay on date.
I have no idea how baus and pros in general keep their cool my hands wouldve been shaking uncontrollably for a couple of those fights and he still somehow casually walks out of it with barely any stress
It's just practice....these people are in those situations constantly, at some point they it's no longer an issue to be getting ganked by 2 people and run around with 100 hp or have to do a series of perfect dodges and combos to clutch a fight. For someone like Baus that intentionally gets into such situations it is probably even easier to clutch them when it matters.
I could never imagine they actually heavily played with Baus's spilt pushing style, and it worked. Caedrel as well, mechaniclly his engaging tank and rakan is really good, also his shotcalling is quite important. Can't wait to see this team with Rekkles and the impact they will cause into the LEC. Finally, the T1 match would be fun, I don't know the format I wish at least they could play T1 into a BO3 or even BO5
I know it’s to be expected considering his background but for me the unsung mvp is Crownie. Dude was making the majority of the calls(along with sally), playing with a feeding support, and still consistently ending up ahead by end game. Super important player
Baus advantage over other players is he is so used to dying, so much as Sion, that he knows its his "good death". He knows how to play the good death which other pros have not practiced coz they always play for kda. Baus always takes risk, thats his innate strength. Truly the Messi of Lol

1 hp is all you need to win
Sometimes it doesnt work out, but how do you think they keep winning games? It isnt by coincidence.
Ego + Messi Prime + Indomitable spirit + absolute swedish chad who would've gotten all the english women W glaze
Is this a meme or something? This is almost identical to another top comment. wording is slightly different but formatting and the meaning in each sentence is identical
I don't think I've ever seen so much hype around league outside of Worlds. Even if they don't go anywhere, creating this team and the content they are building around it is a marketing masterpiece.
I feel like using "RAT" instead of "LR" on their IGNs would've been glorious
common reactions to Faker performing some unthinkable shit in the highest tiers of play: horror, awe, exultation
the only reaction to Baus performing some unthinkable shit in the highest tiers of play: stunned confusion
Nemesis reads Baus plays like a book @15:50 how he immediately told everyone to push mid, knows Baus would be able to stall them. Such a good team
Baus sure snapped a dozen ankles this series.
Messi of League
Can’t wait to go see them play against T1 in Paris 👀
5:00 I laughed so hard at the bausi baus showing on screen
Reminder that Baus is the kind of man to leak the draft and still come out on top. 💀
In the 3rd game, Baus meant to play Sejuani but Caedrel couldn't find her in champ select so it locked it Sion
In the loss Baus consistently repeated voli into Ksante and then caedrel locks gragas. Hilarity ensues.
tbf baus said sejuani with like 3-4 seconds left and caedrel almost clicked on her
Crazy to think that this line up is doing what it’s doing and still has Rekkles to come 😂 not only one of the best ADC during his prime but now one of the best Support players and was only being benched by the literally support goat
I can only imagine what they'd look like without a sprinting supp.
I mean I like Rekkles and all but the glazing is crazy here
@@justinjakeashton The one thing I'm worried about is shotcalling. Obviously rekky is a 100x better than cathedral mechanically speaking, but caedrel is alway the most vocal on the team and is a big shotcaller. Rekkless, last time we saw him on an english speaking team, was known to be pretty silent most of the time. I hope the transition isn't too bad.
@@tb4076caedral is still the coach no? So he can still shotcall
@@tb4076 crownie is pretty good at shotcalling aswell, and with rekkles they get alot bigger champion pool to pick from in the support role. Caedral was stuck with 1 type of support, except the lulu game
With Baus in I ain't missing a single pro game ever
24:29 "Blitz got it, its perfect"😂😂😂
I also love how Baus always runs into fountains at the end like he has a reputation of negative KDA to keep alive :P
FANTASTIC VID to keep us UpToDate with LR.
please keep this rolling mate
baus being toplaner and having so much impact during laning phase is crazy
Content creator of the year for me here. Your videos were great this year, i watched them all haha well done
watching this make me think different about baus, that he can proof hes good and can be good. wow watching this might wanna catch these stream one day
he was always good.He is a challenger play for years now.He quite literally became a challenger in korea in 30 day.
I like how Nemesis specifically will narrate Bauses action for him. Its very overwhelming to play at that level and also talk
It's honestly really good that he does because Baus (while the very killable demon) is still lacking a bit in team coordination. So it's good for Nemesis to help bridge that gap.
Practice and insane amounts of confidence. Baus is honestly an enigma, even 10k gold down he plays as if he always "can win" and has the advantage
Holy food angle
holy shit baus crossmap TPs for teamfights are on point. Caedrel's teachings have sinked in.
Baus 0-4 but up 2k gold. My goat
I know it’s to be expected considering his background but for me the unsung mvp is Crownie. Dude was making the majority of the calls(along with sally), playing with a feeding support, and still consistently ending up ahead by end game. Super important player
Baus, the dying legend, the killable beast, messy of league, one more wave guy and just the GOAT in general.
Baus is what happens when you give some of the most annoying champs to someone who got hands
Absolute cinema
Baus advantage over other players is he is so used to dying, so much as Sion, that he knows its his "good death". He knows how to play the good death which other pros have not practiced coz they always play for kda. Baus always takes risk, thats his innate strength.
Truly the Messi of Lol
14:30 the unkillable demon king posses bauf 😅
Im not the angry reddit post about a players performance type but damn Caedrel made it hard to watch in his Nautilus game. Pretty sure some of the plays were against the geneva conventions... Thankfully he got put on Lulu duty after that 😂
Even with Lulu he trolled Velja so hard 😂 luckily Blitz got the shutdown
Tbf MYSUPPORT contribute alot in shotcalling and strats 😂😂
@@smellyfish6956 - "i cant justify trolling with my point and click shield and polymorph... Hey i know what to do! Let's pretend i hit the blastcone on accident, that will do!"
i love caedrel
Crazy to see Baus going absolutely nuclear in pro play!
I've seen him here and there prior but his play style and positivity paired with hilarious cunning have made pro play enjoyable to watch again!
"THE UNTHINKABLE" - organized semi-professional team with Worlds class mid and adc, won for fun streamer tournament. Like c'mon, Nemesis was 1v9ing NNO without a team and now they scrim 24/7 against other pro players, while everybody on 5 pigs team was asking Jankos what to do: "do we rotate, do we swap, do we engage etc."
Fair for this tournament but you seem to be glossing over those scrims. Those are against real teams and LR is crushing them.
@@kevinwalker6840 - Yeah. It's ok to put NNO aside (even though they are playing this absurdly well. we don't count caedrel.), but people CANNOT ignore those scrims that they were just speedrunning.
I love the recaps, most people I watch dont cover these events. Thanks for doing it!
2:29 For anyone who does not speak German: The casters were speaking about Caedral's performance as a sub support and his crucial role as leader/shotcaller. While also commenting on that rather bad play from caedral as "this was a shit play" (with humour). Just before the clip is being cut, Tolkin I think or someone else asks if Rekkless is an ingame-leader. The answer was cut.
Lol rekkles in game leader he isnt and will never be
Baus is a hero! Truly fun to watch how his strats actually work in pro play as well.
Stopped playing lol for nearly 3 years, faker winning worlds back to back didn't make me come back, but seeing LR play (especially Veljia and Baus) made me play this weekend, i was caught off guard at how fast fight begins because of early objective spawns and i also noticed players have better map awareness now because of this, i didn't expect mid and top to join me on contests that early
You are so good at doing these recaps. Keep it up.
Crazy to think how strong their team is WITHOUT Reckless yet.
Man you’re commentary is fantastic I love this type of content for sure 👍
Really great transition editing in this vid Rival.
Baus having a team to actually play off his pressure and take advantage of his style is genuinely insane to watch. LR is so entertaining
Bro the viewership is craaaazy high when it was last game😂. Baus + Caedrel channel have like a total of 120-130k view
2:24 I feel like caedral made a good play here, I wouldn’t call this greed or getting punished. Sure he died but without him sacrificing himself ezreal would’ve missed 2 waves worth of gold and exp.
If baus learns meta top lane, its the end of pro play. Him playing ambessa is like Goku taking off his wieghted bands. If he learns ksante properly, now that's a team coz I've seen ksante tank a 3 man team fight and still come out on top in pro play, and that's the baus playstyle
i swear to god the germans clapping after every play and not cheering just fucking killed me every time it happend😭
Ngl same, it sounded so different to what I’m used to hahaha
Rival coach baus riven is what we need. AM I RIGHT LADS OR AM I RIGHT LADS.
YOU ARE RIGHT LAD
I'd rather someone like Adrian coach him. No shade toward Rival.
@@PJSM45 agree but what i want more than anything is for baus not to play riven 😂 not great in pro and way too much of a time commitment for baus, and not his playstyle anyway (mechanical/ high apm and if falls behind kinda screwed)
@@etragun it would be a good challenge for him, he is pretty damn good mechanical, as he has shown a million times by now. And she got the 1 thing baus has as a priority, waveclear for the proxy. She would maybe even be an even better match for him than his ambessa has proven to be
i really enjoy the post game casting and your content overall
2:45 caedrel isnt greeding, hes giving space to his bot laner so he can farm, and perhaps trying to live. But the objective is that ezreal can farm the minions safely.
Yeah I wasn't sure if that was his strategy, but the results are undeniable, he managed to turn a terrible situation into a less terrible situation. Pretty good support move I'd say.
because of how popular caedrel is, this team was getting an unreal amount of hype going into their first tourament. but they really are a fun team to watch. glad we get to see baus on stage.
One point that was missed is that during the last game, TF was pretty much out of the game because of the lane swap. You can see during the Baus dive in botlane that Volibear reaches lvl4 while TF is only reaching lvl2. Could've been even worse if the dive on TF succeed. Macro won them this game.
enjoyed the recap boss.. Very good narration. Brazil good host too
I'm looking forward to T1 and LR's match. Its going to be so good!
anyone notice how baus ability to find proxy just transered so well to prio rotation? we all say he's so good but he really is improving
these are sensational videos mr rival
"he's fighting, he's fighting, he's oneshotting"
comedy gold
NNO was Shout casting. Noway, Agurin, Tolkin, Broeki and Karni. We have so many nice creators in Germany. Happy to see that everyone was comming when they ask 😊
Class content, keep it up Rival!
Thank you Caedrel o7
That baus clutch on grag is INSANE
Small note: shields can not only help you escape via hexgates, but also pull of recalls
Yep. All channels.
true, but have to be a baron recall or void boots, no shield last 8 seconds that will be big enough to withstand any dmg during the recall😅
@@JustCh33sy I mean enchanters can literally shield their teammates anytime someone is trying to cancel a recall.
@@peakispieck if they try to poke you to stop it, sure
@@JustCh33sy - Characters with shield passives such as Malphite, Galio, Kassadin, Rakan and Yasuo can do the trick. Some items (Kaenic) and also green smite.
but yeah those are the extreme minorities so lol
These matches are so much more entertaining than just having all pros on teams
Great recap! Love the multiple povs
Rival, i personally think a weekly news video would be really cool covering larger event like new season 15 stuff. Smaller “breaking news” like the zeus situation. And then this recap content. Nice work!!
So early this video is only available in 360p
honestly so much more interesting than majority of worlds excluding hype
I don't know why people are so shocked at Baus' performance. Yes, his strategies over time often include dying but he was literally gaming a broken bounty system to make more gold than his opponent WHILE HE DIES.
He's one of the world's best top laners. Anytime he is playing on an off-stream account he makes challenger in no time. It is nice seeing him get the attention he deserves.
People are for sure overexaggerating it, but honestly i'm still really surprised by his performance.
It isn't news that he is one of the best toplaners and all, and that his overall mechanics are really good - but the way he played this tournament and the scrims? Bro it was another level. Caedrel's teachings also did Baus well fixing some things he was commiting mistakes in. The monster is evolving.
Hey Rival, just wanted to say I absolutely love your content and keep it up big man. This was great, getting a break down of all the big plays and seeing multiple player perspectives. Even the on-screen text explaining what we're about to see next. Awesome video!
P.S. I think you have an editing mistake at 20:04 where you repeat the 18:55 clip instead of talking about the baron
I remember druttut saying on stream that baus was washed a few weeks ago lmao
didn't druttut say he was washed because of his 5 role challenger?
This team is so damn entertaining to follow. With Baus' special yet insanely good gameplay, it makes it so fun I love it.
20:03 I believe that may be the wrong audio clip lol, already played that one and they already slayed the mountain drake
actually god tier resume thx
Luckily Baus choose to become a Streamer than being Pro.
Like bro plays better like 90% of current EU and NA players. He may int but god damn he is Soo good at entertaining People.
I hope they become a Tier 1 Organization..
A 30-minute Rival video? Christmas came early!
PIGS was made in 5 minutes between Druta and Kokos, also le trolls
It was the memers vrs the inters. But baus and cadrel are to stronk for em
bro said what Drut said bar for bar
i still feel bad for drututt , the kind of draft of this tournament completely fuckd his champ pool and he wasnt even playing top lane for the past months yet he got flamed by so many people
LR only dropped 2 games in the whole turnament. No need to downplay that.
Druttut didnt flame his whole team?
The gameplay is more enjoyable to watch than a lot of the actual pro games lol Fearless draft gives a breath of fresh air as well.
i feel like every LR match i watch, tournament or scrims, they are always getting behind the first 5 min lol. Tthen they just win the teamfights or baus does baus stuff
clasic LR early game
yeah but it's hugely because theyre so bad at diving when they lane swap. Rekkless will definitely help them pull the necessary dives off
theyre basically T1 from Amazon
Great video tyvm!
