Did the LA Bastow Vegas ride several times with my nephew and friends. Great times!! Last ride was just my nephew and I. Awesome experience for both of us. We were already close...but after doing it together many times...we are basically welded together!! Nothing better than working together, thru thick and thin, and prevailing. Great stories that we recall often, and fondly remember. Awesome experiences!! Highly recommend doing it. 🤪😃😃
I raced Barstow to vegas the first time in 1975 @ 14 years old and the last one in 1984 @ 23, the next time I rode it was 2003 @ 42 with my 63 year old dad taking the "hard route through the rocks" both of us finished on flat rear tires riding into the Orleans casino
Too funny. First video I find of this year's ride and I'm in it😅 I'm the guy on your left going up the hill at 3:37. Riding into the sun was brutal! We shoulda left 30 minutes earlier.
@cameronscraig Oh, you're fine. I was just trying get all the way over and hold my line because I knew I didn't have a lot of momentum and was starting to spin the rear. Just trying to stay out of the way. Haha.
Sure. We went with Mousse tubes and Golden Tire GT333. Have done the ride once before with heavy duty tubes and luckily did not get a flat, but seeing people out on the trail changing tires looked like hell. Especially as the first one we saw was only half an hour into the ride. Mousse tubes for the win. Obviously can't ride them much on the street, but even with tubes the street is going to destroy your dirt tires anyway.

Kid on the 323 husky needs a sponsor asap
He has a bike , gear and everything supported by his current sponsor, so a new sponsor would be nice.
