Also my niece. There's just something about glitter that makes little girls want to cover themselves in it and spread it like a disease to everyone who touches them....
At the end, Hank and John answering the age-old question "but can you do this?!?!" fills me with glee. They represent the best parts of being 9 year-olds
I just got done watching your 60 minutes interview and I loved it. I'm honestly amazed at how much more I admire John the more I get to know about it him. He is truly inspiring.
When I was reading every John Green book in the ninth and tenth grade in my small suburban hometown, I could not have imagined six years later I would be hundreds of miles away finally seeing the man in person and he would be inside of a bumblebee costume.
I love it when you two make videos together, it always feels like vintage nerdfighter videos again. not that I don't love the newer videos, the old videos just have a special place in my heart.
@@ellap6828 Hello from one year later! Hank said the names were just accidents. He didn't know what to name them so he just put whatever names that came to mind there as place-holders, but then he was unable to think about them with any other names, so they became April and Andy.
I really like the purple ball that hank threw at John's head! I also really love how uncomfortable they both were when asked about their love for each other! Also, what do we, the nerdfighters, have to do to get quaddragacon 2018 to be a thing?
Thank you for a great show in Denver last night! It was hilarious, meaningful and fun, but even more important was the incredible positive energy of all those nerdfighters gathered in one physical place. It was my first time experiencing the community IRL and that just made me so happy at a time when I really needed it. You two are the best. And so is Nerdfighteria :3
I'm so happy that I challenged myself and overcame my anxiety and went to the Chicago stop on the tour. I had so much fun and will cherish the memories forever.
I like how the first question was how much do you love each other, but the way you both answered "grape jelly" at the same time tells us all we need to know in that regard
*immediately opens book cover to find easter egg* Does it make me a bad person ("that guy") if I reveal the message at the beginning of the book............... "Knowing something is a bad idea does not always decrease the odds that you will do it."
I just realized they meant something more subtle and that quote is probably totally obvious to everyone even though it took me 5 minutes to figure and thus I'm not as smart as I thought.
The last two or three videos have been BRILLIANT. I love this, the light and kind of silly, I also have really enjoyed seeing the love between Hank and John. I love reunion videos.
HIIIII!! :D I'm the asker of that question. If you search this on twitter you'll see what i was talking about, with pictures as well. In the drawing there are repeating patterns or boxes and dashes on the rooves of the buildings. They all look exactly the same, and seemed really out of place to me to be in such patterns. That why i though they were some sort of intentional code. And it would've made sense with what was happening in rhe books too! The quote I saw right away.
I’m super impressed, because it seemed like there weren’t any chairs present while filming. I couldn’t tell until the last shot. Whether you were squatting or kneeling, takes a lot of effort.
That poster was at the show I went to. The girl holding it screamed “Stan” and hank stopped mid sentence and screamed “Stan.” And then he said what does your poster say. She replied “an absolutely remarkable...” and then hank screamed “STAN”

I'm super excited that you'll be on 60 Minutes, John. Thanks to the both of you for all your work. Your various programs have been valuable to my progress. And you two are adorable separate and together you're a treat! Mahalo and Aloha!
John, I'm beginning to think you might be pretty darn good at this video editing thing. (And if anyone has a chance to catch Hank on tour, DO IT!!! You'll be surrounded by nerdfighters and there is literally nothing in this world better than that!!!)
John - my parents and I watched your sixty minutes interview when I was visiting them and they said they really enjoyed it and understood my sister and me better based on your explanations. I just enjoyed seeing someone I “know” on tv :)
the intro made me laugh so hard because it felt like in the movies when the serial killer hiding in your house makes himself known and you go "...he's here" but it's just a grinning hank and a bouncy ball. love that.
I Just finished "An Absolutely Remarkable Thing" Got it after seeing Hank last night. I started reading it at 8:00 this morning and was finished at 3:00 - Yup, 7 hours! Good book! Nice to see Hank had input from Gaby Dunn for the main character!
Aww, you guys! It was so good to see you last week. Also, last night I finally hit the point in AART where I could not stop reading so I stayed up late and it's done now and it was really great.
This is very unrelated to the video but I have an interesting little tidbit to share. I'm a freshman high school student and my biology teacher is using Hank's crashcourse on biology! The first day she played it she said "We're going to be watching some videos by a guy named Hank." And my mind immediately went "no way..." Anyway Hank's face popped up, giant, projected on the wall and I must admit it took me a second to recognize him through the beard. Now my whole class adores Hank and we constantly ask if we're watching a Hank video today. I think I've almost convinced the kid who sits next to me to watch Hank's other videos. Tl;Dr I'm basically trying to convert my classmates into nerdfighters. DFTBA guys.
HANK! I just finished reading An Absolutely Remarkable Thing, and it was so good, it was absolutely remarkable. It delt with themes I've never encountered in fiction before, and I'm going to gently coerce my friends to read it so I can freak out about it with them.
Hank I just finished your book in two days (It would have been one but homework exists). It was wonderful! Thanks so much for an awesome read. I'm off to the discord server now in order to stay in the AART universe a little longer but I had to watch the new video first. PS I just gasped at John's announcement. So excited!
"I was snuggling with Alice and she is just always covered in glitter" and "it's just part of being Alice's Dad".
Adorable.

That is the kind of engagement with kids I wish for in a fellow parent!
literally me and my daughter too lol

Also my niece. There's just something about glitter that makes little girls want to cover themselves in it and spread it like a disease to everyone who touches them....

Alice sounds like my kind of gal, tbh.
Obsessed with “Good morning Hank, it’s-he’s here.” Ultimate sibling vibes
At the end of the video I just assume Hank is still on the floor as you're talking about 60 minutes, etc.
hahahaha I love that idea but actually he was in Milwaukee. -John
hard same :D
60 minutes... I don't want to stereotype you or anything, John, but Hank might be correct in labeling you the "old one."
+
John actually changed shirts in that shot and I only just noticed wow
What? Two consecutive videos of the Greens being adorable together? This is... an absolutely remarkable thing!

0:05 an ABS-olutely remarkable thing 😏
Reluctant applause for your pun. -John
*standing up and cheering like a mad-lad*
I thought Hank was going to say that when he was leaning back.
you beat me to it 😂👌
I thought that was what hank was getting at haha!
John staring in the camera urging Hank to keep going until he falls over is such a brotherly shot I love it.
I appreciate Hank springing toward the camera to catch your fall, very April/Andy.
I assumed John kicked the camera and made it fall. Your correct explanation is so much funnier
Yesss this is SO CUTE!! I love video that you guys both appear in!
"I'm the science one and he's the old one" -Hank Green
as the person who inquired about jelly, I respect your unanimous response.
simultaneous no less!
It does indeed!
Connor Locock 🤧🤧🤧🤧
I hope you read the book and appreciate their response:)
I have thoroughly enjoyed the last two videos. The laid back, fast paced, very genuine vibe. Very very funny. 12/10 would recommend. Qthanks.

I love that vlogbrothers can be intellectual or two brothers falling off chairs
"good morning hank it's tu- *thunk* he's here" lmao

the most older sibling reaction of all time
I'm sure the temp title of this video, "qt hank" means "Question Tuesday Hank," but I like to think it was actually "Cutie Hank"
LOL!
How to know the temporary title?
Sexy scientist When it’s first posted if you get push notifications or email notifications it often shows the original temp title
Kristy Silva I have push notifications on. Usually it shows the title at the time of release, but this time it showed the later title.
I was one of the people interviewed for the 60 minutes interview at vidcon - and I met a few AWESOME fellow nerdfighters in the process!
I want to see what was cut after Hank said “I’m the science one and he’s the old one” cause I know, *I know* John said something.

"...he's here". That deadpan statement is very relatable to anyone with a younger sibling
I just got done watching your 60 minutes interview and I loved it. I'm honestly amazed at how much more I admire John the more I get to know about it him. He is truly inspiring.
Usually when you’re together in videos you two are somewhere else. It’s weird seeing Hank in John’s video background. 😂
whoa it is actually super bizarre to see hank in front of your background
When I was reading every John Green book in the ninth and tenth grade in my small suburban hometown, I could not have imagined six years later I would be hundreds of miles away finally seeing the man in person and he would be inside of a bumblebee costume.
I love it when you two make videos together, it always feels like vintage nerdfighter videos again. not that I don't love the newer videos, the old videos just have a special place in my heart.
At 0:25 the building plans said "Knowing something is a bad idea does not always decrease the odds that you will do it."
On a scale from Cain and Abel to Alabama, how much do you love your sibling?
This made me genuinely laugh out loud oml
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Welp, the scale wasn't supposed to go that far. Abort. Abort.
My guess is Cain and Abel but they hide it well. Hank *did* try to kill John with a hammer...
+++++++++++++++++++XD
We need to get John falling from his chair saying “nope nope nope” to populate into the Twitter gif search. Love you, John. 😂💛
Greens times two, HAPPY DAY!!!
Knowing something is a bad idea does not always decrease the odds that you will do it.
I wholly believe that they were talking about April and Andy on Parks and Recreation.
Chef_PC I was looking for this comment lol, was thinking the same thing
Me three
Is that who the characters are named after? I want this to be true!
@@ellap6828 Hello from one year later! Hank said the names were just accidents. He didn't know what to name them so he just put whatever names that came to mind there as place-holders, but then he was unable to think about them with any other names, so they became April and Andy.

I like the fact that instead of helping John sit up, Hank adjusted the camera for the viewers to have a better view of John’s fall 😂😂😂
Every time you make a video together I think THIS is the best one yet... and then you make another video together that tops the last
I like how the first question was how much do you love each other, but the way you both answered "grape jelly" at the same time tells us all we need to know in that regard
An Absolutely Remarkable upload! And An Absolutely Remarkable book !

I just got home from Hank’s Colorado tour stop and watched this video. I can’t stop smiling. Thanks for making today a wonderful day. :)

Thanks for the heads up on 60 minutes. I may have to miss Bob's Burgers, but c'mon, it's John Green. 😊

Ok, "I had a happy childhood..." puts words to a thing that I NEEDED words for.
i still want 8 minutes for the videos where you're both in it.
I love how John intended to end the video with Hank falling on the floor, but then the video ended up ending with John falling on the floor :)
legend says john never got up after that fall

Going to Pasadena JUST to see Hank! Cannot wait!
"It's... fine." - John Green

Can't wait to pick up my copy of AART at the library tomorrow!
You guys need to get more popular! I've watched your stuff for ages and you're both great!
I love the end paper Easter eggs. That and how many times throughout the book I thought about how much of a Hank thing to say some of the lines are
Just ordered Hank's book through Book of the Month subscription box. Can't wait to read!
