UPDF monitors Eastern DRC tensions amid M23 capture of Goma

- The Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF) says it is monitoring the situation in eastern DRC in the unlikely event that the war spills over into Ugandan territory. UPDF spokesperson Brig. Felix Kulayigye says the army is closely watching events in Goma, and necessary precautions have been put in place to safeguard Uganda’s territory, as the fighting is occurring 500 kilometers away from the border. All of this comes amid reports that the M23 armed group has captured Goma City, even as fighting between the rebels and Congolese troops continues

Uganda and Rwanda have the right and it’s their duty to protect their people and countries by getting involved in Congolese affairs to protect their countries and their people from the chaos and violence that have reigned in Congo for decades since colonial times up to now.

The world should solve the problem that makes m23 stand up and agree to shed its blood and understand their injustice so that peace can return, their problems of Congolese who speak Kinyarwanda especially the Tutsis were ignored, there is a plan to perish them considering the killings done to them in North Kivu and South Kivu. In the east of the DRC there are people who speak Rwandan language because of the conference held in Berlin in 1884-1885 which divided Africa into new borders, and gave part of Rwanda to the DRC which made those people become Congolese, the problem is that the government of the DRC considers those people as foreigners (Rwandans) . The government of DRC, police of DRC, DRC army, Burundi army, Fdlr and Wazarendo are killing them, there are hate speech against them, they are being discriminated against, they steal their cows until now, most of them are in refugee camps in Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, etc.
that's why they founded m23 to protect themselves. because of those people who look like Rwandans and speak the same language that is why the DRC government is lying that there are Rwandan forces helping them to fight.
But Kulayigye is also an M23 person. Because Gashumba said that M23 is soon also taking Uganda.
