Swaddling may help them not to be startled and therefore providing more chances of rest..even if swaddled, it’s why parents are Instructed to leave open where their little legs are as to not restrict movement. A newborn should never be swaddled to the point of restriction.. and even if they do not move their legs or arms (which they will try) you would see head movement and here cooing sounds or moaning a bit to to the point of crying.

So what? It's a natural habit she would want to rub her belly as she did that for most of her pregnancy. It's no big deal. Lots of new mothers do it. It is just post partum mannerisms. What was with all the nerves coming from this usually calm, camera loving, fame hungry, Diana wannabe?? Her hands were everywhere she looked so awkward touching everything in sight including Harry's arm, the baby's head and her wig repeatedly, she just didn't know what to do with that claw of hers. At one point her lips started quivering with nerves so much so that she looked up at Harry to see if he had noticed her quivering lips as she smiled tensely for the camera's. No sign of these nerves on the Oprah or Ellen's show as she relished the fame and glory she fought for so hard for all for herself, maybe it was a tactical way of making people warm to her as she knew people weren't buying into her nice girl act. Harry said the baby was calm like his mother, he must have blinkers on because that's not what I saw.
