In this case, i think viewers were well intentioned and "that's crazy" has the sentiment more along the lines of "that's incredible." I do feel for him, it is HARD studying and trying to find a job in your field of choice as is. Especially with a discipline that requires a lot of training. It is amazing that he can train every day while having this whole other life.
yeah, i think the "that's crazy" comment is more appreciative as opposed to what he thought, but there is a negative connotation to the word crazy so I can see why he thought it was bad.
