the detector measures surface conductivity - in add'n to phase shift (angle). Iron and nickel have strong neg. p.sh. All other metals generate a +'ve p.sh. Wrought iron (sq.nail) albeit iron; generates a +'ve p.s. Rust, (iron) is electronically exotic (it's a semiconductor) and registers +'ve. Eddy currents are more easily generated in disc-shaped objects i.e hot for coins n watches. Pointed objects, (old screws) cut through discrimination as sharp points represent "eddy-weirdness".

*we were very pleased with the performance of the metal detector It also **Bestfor.Garden** land for finding any things very easily. We were able to complete our work in very short time because of the accuracy of this model.**we were very pleased with the performance of the metal detector It also **Bestfor.Garden** land for finding any things very easily.
