I miss Disney when it was like this 😔 when I was little we would go on family vacations here and it is always a fond memory to look back on, sadly, not to visit now. Hope they can fix it before it is too late.
I dunno. I still love it. I went first time as a kid in 2000 and I've loved my later trips more. I went twice in the 10s and have been 3 times in the 20s and love it more every time. I'm curious what's bad about it now?
thanks for getting more great footage of classic Disney rides, the parade and the shows are always my favorite highlight of a home video adventure to the Disney parks. 98 was the year to remember the magic for sure!
the first time I saw that float was in the Magic Kingdom 25th Anniversary "Remember the Magic" parade in 1996, so it pretty amazing to think this float has now been operating for 27 years!
This is an awesome video! Thanks for sharing. I think we took our kids there in July that year. Back when you could buy multi day passes that never expired!
I remember those passes and have still have tickets from when we went in 94 that should have a days admission, it would be great to see if they would honour it!
Thank you for these videos, our first visit was October 98, so this one is great. We stayed at All Star Music resort, paid $74 per night for a room for 4 of us. It really was a magical place then, loved MGM, did MNSSHP on our last night wonderful ❤
We also stayed at All-Star music back in 2003 for a 7-day park hopper vacation, we were able to visit all 4 parks+Downtown Disney and my mom even took me over to Universal Orlando for the day, it was the best vacation i ever had during my elementary school days and i'll never forget the magical memories we made on that trip ❤
Hey Raffles’s Physical Media Collector, The music was still being played in the park in the "Disney's Magical Moments Parade" which was basically the 25th anniversary "Remember the Magic Parade" with a few minor changes
My best childhood memories ❤ magic kingdom in the 90s😊
the 90's Disney World was the best

14:03 even have the little dude out of the ceiling saying FSU! …perfect
The Disney we all know and love. Not what it is now😢
Very true 😔
It's time to remember the magic!!!
Splash Mountain was actually the perfect ride.

Your welcome Alex, Thanks for watching and commenting
@@DisneyDave you're very welcome
OH MY GOSH what a tease when extra terrorestrial cut off!!! I wanted to hear the shock and terror from the people experiencing it 😂
If you want to see the full version of the Alien Encounter attraction I have another video here: ruclips.net/video/RrT7TUm6WZA/видео.html
Disney has lived its best days. Now we can only look back at videos like this to remember it.
Very true 😔
A disney without cell phones would be nice...
It would be absolute bliss!
1:16:55 woah 😳. This exact float they used, first saw this for the Christmas parade in 2023, I didn’t know it was used way back in the 1998!

Tim Curry as the voice of S.I.R. and Robin Williams as the voice of Timekeeper is just awesome
I second that 👌
Nice Carousel of Progress footage!
I've been visiting from Texas every other year since they opened, and yeah, I miss the way the parks were back then.
@@jeanettesmith765 wow that’s amazing 🤩 I bet you’ve seen so much change at the park over that time period ❤️
Let's not forget this was the same year the Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell in a Cell, plummeting 16 feet through an announcer's table
From what I’ve seen on these old tapes from the 90’s, they rarely ever get Madame Leota or the singing busts to line up with the soundtrack properly.
I can't remember seeing this problem when visiting the park in the 90's, I need to check out my other tapes

WOW $74 dollars per night! If we could only turn back time and prices
@@DisneyDave that way you could enjoy the classic attractions gone to the sands of history and enjoy semi-cheap nights at the Disney resorts!
Historical
Splash Mountain
(1992-2023)
R.I.P. 😭🤧
Ey, I was 10 days old after this recording.
1:59:22 Why they still playing Disney World 25th anniversary theme song in 1998?

Great video, but the music in the first two minutes is atrociously bad. I felt like I was sitting on hold with a customer service call line. 😅
😂😂😂 Sorry about that, the car radio was playing and I didn't want a copyright strike! 😂😂😂
Where is the clock in it’s a small world ?
