Robert 'The Reaper' Whittaker vs. Israel 'The Last Stylebender' Adesanya Promo.
The UFC will be holding its second event in Australia in 2019. Adesanya fought Anderson Silva at Rod Laver Arena in February, winning via unanimous decision.
The New Zealander is the interim UFC middleweight champion after defeating Kelvin Gastelum via unanimous decision at UFC 236.
"This is the perfect fight at the perfect time with the two best athletes in the division," UFC President Dana White said. "I am pumped to go back to Melbourne for this massive event. To have two champions in Whittaker and Adesanya fighting for the title on home turf is huge. This will be the biggest fight in Australian history."
Marvel Stadium has a capacity of more than 50,000, giving the event the massive appeal White wanted for the middleweight showcase.
Whittaker, who was born in New Zealand and resides in Australia, has not fought since a split-decision win over Yoel Romero at UFC 225. He missed a chunk of time after undergoing surgery for an abdominal hernia and a twisted and collapsed bowel, which caused him to pull out of a scheduled bout against Gastelum at UFC 236.
Marvel Stadium famously was the host of Holly Holm's shocking win over Ronda Rousey at UFC 193. It was the second-to-last fight of Rousey's career.

You are the goat of these trailers or highlight things. I watch a ton of sports highlight mixes, tributes etc, I’ve only found a few out of 100s because I instantly shut the bad ones off so I’ve clicked on tons trying to find the ones that give you those feelings of magic, inspiration, hype etc.

The UFC has some amazing promo's and the voice and footage of the longer countdowns are even better.

Bobbie Dillon Costa told that he could never be a replacement for that fight due to the injuries sustained in Romero fight
2 issues with that. 1 he just fought a war a month ago and currently has a 6 month medical suspension( I don't know if that would matter in Australia tho), 2 he wouldn't be able to make the weight in time. He weighed in at 213.8lb for his last fight. I'm sure he walks around heavier. He's a 205er.

Chael is an idiot, Whittaker isn't just a random Kiwi who moved to Australia. Whittaker literally is half Australian, one of his parents is Australian (that's how he got to Australia) and the other parent in fact was a Kiwi Maori. Yes Whittaker has Maori in him, the rest of his other side from his Australian parent is just typical Australian European.
Thus Whittaker is both a real Australian and a real Kiwi, he represents Oceania in fact, he belongs with Mark Hunt as being an Oceania super fighter. Adesanya though isn't from here, he is literally a guy from Nigeria. Adesanya doesn't represent Australia or New Zealand, but Whittaker literally is built from both Australia and New Zealand.
