Dokimadzo, #1381 - to put something thru the fire to show that it is worthy or not. The will of God in the Lord's prayer is "on earth as it is in heaven." The renewed mind proves that is God's will. Similar to "now test Me in this...." in Malachi 3.10
"the renewed mind is continuous repentance"......asking forgiveness? continuously? in speech (forgive me Lord/ I repent for my sins- of which I have been forgiven?- or in humility and meekness ( in actions/behavior) ?
Repentance is a continuous changing of our minds and our ways as the Holy Spirit leads us to new thoughts and ways: for Isaiah 55.8,9: "“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." We don't think like the Kingdom of God thinks by and large. It isn't a matter of living in continual self condemnation [there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus - Romans 8.1], but learning to think God's thoughts after him.
Trained to uproot the problem and cast it into the sea/ocean. Hmmmmm. Sounds like those are words of training coming down from the Father above to train us for what is going on right now!!
