As a revert I find it still difficult to find English lectures that are of good quality. As a community, we can't share the message of Ahluyl Bayt if we keep to ourselves and make everyone feel like outsiders. I literally wouldn't have ever heard of this message without the Ark centre of Ottawa who does an amazing job of holding events for reverts and have English available. We need English majlis it's just necessary I try to do something similar with TheRevertSociety but it's entirely virtual so actually reaching people can be very difficult What your doing is needed and important and just amazing
Ammar Nakshawani is a good starter for english speakers. If you want deeper discussions you can search for Syed Ali Imran. And your most favourite may be Syed Asad Jafri. One of the most powerful speakers in english.
Assalaamo alaykum. I am a convert of over 20 years living in Ottawa. I’m glad you were able to see us at the Ark Center. Inshallah you continue to find English majalis to benefit from. I would highly recommend searching here on RUclips, Sheikh Wael El Zein. He is one of my best friends, and is a local Ottawa guy. There is also Sheikh Moustafa Makhzomi. Another brother here in Ottawa. They both have lots of English lectures online. Best of luck, brother. Fi imam illah
Sallam, im sorry to watch person talk about imam hussain a.s and the way his wearing clothes? And way sitting has no respect... what world we are living now? Everything is changed.. should mosque people say something to him... i feel like rapper music... disrespectful to our mulla.
@@moonal3411 i thought so too. khadim imam al hussain a.s should dress more modestly. the host was wearing whats is more suitable for a khadim. not rapper style clothes.
Salam alaykum, I listened to all of this podcasts. I have a few points to make. It’s quite heartbreaking that you’ve chosen to throw your heritage mother tongue language away and keep just English. Yes English is important especially for the younger generation, but also keeping majalis in Arabic with respecting our elders is as important. The way you mention the older Arabic generation with disrespect isn’t respectful.
These lectures are amazing keep up the work inshallah - youth
Glad you like them!
