Yes, to the closet clean out! And I think most larger groceries here in the US have the open produce. I was very excited to see the produce being grown and sold in the store. Just think of how less transportation and land is used doing it this way. And in the US we have a lot of contamination problems with our vegetables. I would imagine it would cut contamination down, as well.
Depending on the size and the chain, some stores in the US have huge veggie/fruit selections, some not so much. That store and its hydroponic garden was awesome to see!
I'm so impressed with the recycling room at your place! I live in a more rural area and our recycling center cannot take most things and it's so sad to throw away a lot of things 😭
We don't usually use rhubarb in Spain. And of course we have a LOT of fruit and vegetables, not expensive as we produce them not only for our country but for others as well, so we eat a lot of them as part of our Mediterranean diet. Alcohol, well if you ever have been in Spain you know part of our socialising is meeting for a "coffee" (coke, beer, wine whatever ) at the end of the day with friends. I don't have alcohol at home but maybe white wine and I would be burned at the stake if I mixed ANY wine with ice cubes or any other fruits. Only allowed mixing for wine is Sangria, and you know that is not a real wine drink but something you do for outside parties in summer time. Reality is, the older you get the wiser you become so.... being away from sangria if I can manage it (best wine won't be used to do it) 😉😉😉
I love this!! When we were still allowed to travel, the most exciting part for me is going to a regular grocery store in the country i'm visiting!!! So this feeds that wanderlust 😆
I’m still so happy you started this vlog channel. It’s just so wonderful getting to see Sweden through your eyes and experiences. Your grocery store looks awesome! I love how checkout is setup. Seems so easy, convenient, and fast! Also, we use rhubarb in the US, but it’s not very common. I’ve really only ever had it in a strawberry rhubarb pie, which is SO yummy. 😋🥧🍓💕
In the US YES we have open table food just like that depending were you choose to go where I live in northern Santa Rosa California and we have a lot of fruit stands were its from fresh farms in the area I feel very fortunate to have a lot of these around.
Yes. Most US grocery stores have open produce areas where you can choose your own produce. I will say that your store has more of a selection than many stores and the displays are so much prettier.
I think that your grocery store is more technology based then ours here in the US and definitely like that they are using hydroponics with in the store as well. We have nothing like that where I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I very much enjoyed your Vlog. Have a great day!
I would buy almost anything NYX (the way a lot of people in the US do with Elf) not so much because of the price but because I have faith in the formulas and its SO easy to get.
You said you wanted to know about grocery stores...I'm in west central Florida. We have an Amish family that started a chain of grocery store here that have an incredible array of loose produce. All the usual stuff, plus unusual things like moondrop grapes, jackfruit, dragon fruit, carambola, fresh turmeric & ginger root, dozens of varieties of apples and (of course) citrus. Every March, I get a couple of flats of strawberries and make jam or just slice and freeze the fruit for later. They also have a large variety of specialty jams, local honey, raw dairy products from a local dairy, etc. One of my favorite places to shop.
I love closet clean outs! I went back and found one you did awhile ago. I thought I heard you say you bought some pants in Minneapolis. Did I hear that right? That's my city!
I and my mom did a closet clean out before the start of our renovation but I think there'll be another when we unpack everything - there's so much stuff! So a declutter would be good for motivation and inspiration:)
Love to see a closet declutter! We seem to have a few different stores to buy groceries from with that "target" format here in the Midwest US. Our regional grocery store, Meijer, is pretty good about contacting local farms and bringing in local produce to the stores. We call the "kitchen paper," paper towels. It's so fun to see the differences in language when it comes to naming things. Never thought of them as kitchen paper before, but they are. We used to have bulk candy bins like yours around here, but Covid kind of got rid of the last of those in grocery stores in my area. You would have to go to a specialty candy shop to buy out of bins like that now. Oh, and many of the grocery stores around us now have apps that we can download to our phone that allow us to scan the product as we put them into our carts. You can pay from the app with a registered credit card or take the phone to a register and scan a provided barcode on your phone app and pay with cash or gift cards. One less thing for the stores to disinfect after someone uses it.
The rose face mask is divine. Like you just picked roses from your garden and stuck them on your face. And I really love how soft it makes my skin feel. Perfect for after or the morning after a long day of full complexion products.
I remember your closet cleaning vlog two years ago! Show me more! I work for Walmart and our produce is open. That was a HUGE grocery store! I was just asking about the car.. 😁😁 That is an amazing recycling facility in your building. I have curbside pickup, but there's a lot they won't take. Glass and certain plastics.... 😳 I LOVE beauty and makeup. I also love life. Thank you for showing me a slice of yours. 💛
I call the dry cat food crunchies too. I call the canned meat gravy. My boy kitty was orphaned when he was teensie tiny and had to be fed with a bottle. When we started to wean him we had to mix his milk into his canned food to make a gravy type consistency that he would be able to eat with only his baby teeth. We don’t give him the milk anymore but we still call it gravy. He knows exactly what’s up when you say the word gravy. We will often call him to dinner by saying “it’s gravy time”. I often use gravy time on my husband to call him to dinner too. Lol
My dog has bad allergies too.( And no, it's not fleas. She has no fleas) She used to chew her feet & certain areas like a spot on her tail raw. Her eyes were red & watery, her nose was dry & irritated to the point of infection. She was so miserable. We started with allergy shots which didn't help & then tried steroids which turned her into a carpet slug who was always hungry. It helped her but completely changed her personality so we talked with our vet about alternatives. Eventually we tried prescription dog food that we buy from our vet & anti-itch meds. The Attarax helped a lot. She still needed to be on Apoquel & both meds combined with the Rx food really helped her. She's 16 now & going strong despite failing eye sight & hearing loss. Sometimes dogs need antihistimine relief just like people do for severe itching due to allergies. Wow, that grocery store is so futuristic & high tech & huge. I thought Costco was big & overwhelming...
Hatice is hard to pronounce because she's of Turkish origin, so her name is Turkish, not German :) but her husband is German, that's why her surname is Schmidt
Yes, you can pick your fruit and vegetables in the US supermarket and even in the small markets. I wish the recycling program here was as detailed as the one in Sweden. We just have, paper, the # 1, 2 plastic, aluminum and compostable materials. We do have drop off recycling stations in some stores for plastic bags and packaging, as well as makeup and oral care, but not directly at our home.
Yes they do sell raw food for dogs and cats here in the US. But recently there has been a link between antibiotic resistant infections in dogs and raw food! And yes you can pick fresh vegetables at US grocery stores. You can also buy a lot of items in bulk in a bag.
The grocery store nearest me looks pretty similar to yours. The piles of produce are a bit smaller, but for most things you pick the individual fruits and veggies you want. It also has some clothes, and some toys and games, books and magazines, and electronics. Oh yeah, I'm in a suburb in Texas, USA
I'm loving the Osea Ocean cleanser. I've always loved the Clinique cleansing balm with just a drugstore, lower priced cleanser, until I tried the Osea. My local grocery stores have large produce sections but I now buy from a local family business. They have better quality produce for better prices, and they deliver to your front door for free. You just place order by Thursay night & choose Sat or Sun delivery. Then each order you earn points you can save & trade in for free product. Excellent service, product & prices & it's supporting a small family business so a complete win.
I like the Elemis cleansing balm (though I have the regular, not rose) but the oil does melt a bit in the summer, probably why the container is leaking. If it’s an issue you can try tossing it in your fridge for a few minutes before use. We have open groceries too but I think not as much quantity as you. I saw you had like a huge pile of oranges for example. We have smaller bushels because we don’t buy as much fresh food I think and because we have a food waste problem where if it doesn’t get bought it just goes to waste in the trash. So grocery stores I think are careful to not buy what they know won’t be bought. That hydroplaning thing is cool though. I haven’t seen that here in US. Im so jealous that you have pre cut herbs. That would save so much time and effort on cooking. Yes to closet org. I love all organizing videos. I don’t know why, I’m certainly not organized myself.
Would love to see the closet clear out! And my pups also love duck (my youngest has allergies as well and duck doesn't upset his tummy). Most grocery stores here have open produce (even at Target nowadays). I love the little scanner thing you have there though, that's super convenient! We have self check out which is similar but we do it all at the end (although one of our big box stores has an app you can scan your items during your trip which is cool). Can't wait to see the next vlog, keep em coming! 😁
Oh, rhubarb is da bomb in a pie! Going to make one (at least, my mum is making one) for my birthday to take it to my workplace on Saturday to share with the girls because we're in a hell of a day (that's weekends for you when working in retail - constant hell, day in day out). We get lot of rhubarb in Finland and Estonia too and we ever grow some in our own garden, so my grandmum makes some jellies or jam out of them (I just love her blackcurrant jam, it's so~ delicious!). We have those bar code scanners is Estonia too, and it's so handy, especially when buying very much or wanting to avoid the lines; haven't any implemented in Finland but who knows, maybe they're be here soon also. Thank heaven's for the self check-outs, they're the best idea ever; it would be nice if clothing stores had them too but the mess would be more horrendous then, I have no patience for that kind of shi-. Would love to see a video about that "Lust for Dusk" because the palette looks very interesting for a neutral one, as well the closet clearing.
This was the best yet! This looks like a BIG store with cheaper prices that we have in Wisconsin USA called ‘Woodmans’. I WISH it was that full of great candy and hydroponic veggies! We can/do pick our own fruits and vegetables in open bins like you. Thank you for this peek into the grocery and pet stores! Let’s get to that closet now! XOXO Heidi
In the Netherlands you actually have the fruits and vegetables out in the open as well. The store looks pretty much the same. In small towns they don’t have home stuff. I don’t know about big cities.
Things we don't have on the Big Island of Hawai'i: Seagulls, Sephora, and Recycling (just drinking cans and bottles) Things we do have: hot weather, lots of wild cats (wild chickens, pigs, goats) , farmer's markets everyday of the week with fresh fruits and veggies, and 2 Targets 😁
I'm glad you started this channel for your vlogs, it's a very different energy to your beauty reviews & I love it but I also love it's presented / recommended separately in my feed.
The intro music is the same as my favourite true crime channel (That Chapter) and I love these vlogs, so it seems appropriate to have both with the same music. xx
I have to say, I never was interested in vlogs until you started yours ! I love seeing your daily life videos on here, it's so calming and exciting to see life in Sweden ! Thank You for sharing with us Angie
Ooooh I looove the Ica Maxi! We usually go to the one in Karlstad when I am visiting my mom. We go to Karlstad next week because the weather turns a bit, now that it is so warm we are just by the lake in Gröcken. In holland you can also pick your fruits and veggies
Yassss a long vlogggg I've been waiting for this💓I love seeing the supermarkets from all over the world its so different everywhere haha we can choose our vegetables in our supermarkets but ours aren't this technological usually. Love from Turkey Angie you should definitely visit here sometime I'm sure you'd love it 💓💓
I love watching closet clean outs!!! It looks interesting in the stores, and yes some of our bigger stores have their produce out like yours. This has been so much fun sweetie!! Thank you so much for sharing with us, and I hope you have a Blessed day!!!
I love watching a closet clean out, for sure. I go to grocery stores where they have the produce set up like in your store, none that grow stuff in the store though, which I love! We need that here.
The Wal-Mart store has fruits n vegetables the same as your store, I have never seen in store grown vegetables anywhere in Texas .In the biggest grocery stores here there are maybe 2 rows of candy . Did the Apple juice have alcohol in it? I call my dry cat food kibble.Thank you for sharing Sweden, the pink eyeshadow was beautiful. For such a large dog he seem so careful and gentle.
That is an amazing grocery store! I love all the fresh vegetables and fruits and so cute how you can pick all the candies. I especially love how you can easily check out after scanning things. We have specific candy stores that you can pick candies and then get weight to purchase. We also have fresh organic fruit and veggie markets open in summer, but nothing I know of like yours. I hope we get these stores soon. I’m in upstate NY btw
It is so interesting to see pet brands I recognize in Sweden. I work for PetSmart, which is a big pet company here in the states, and I am like.. oh I know that. And that! And that. My doggo would also like those ducky treats. :)
I've found out Boxers are super allergy prone all 3 of mine have different kinds of allergies and some still surprise us lol poor babies swell up with hives and everything. We have to be super careful what kind of foods we give them and stuff we use around the house.
Oh! And the innisfree volcanic clay mask is awesome for normalist to dyrish skin 2-3 times a month to just get the junk out without dyring. I really like it and think its good value.
It was so interesting to see that grocery store. I love the section with all the ingrown vegetables! I think more places should do that! Here in South Africa we do have places where you can pick produce individually but the selection isn't as large.
So exiting to see vegetables grown and sold in store! In France we also have a rather big area of the store dedicated to fresh produce like veggie and fruit. I love your vlogs and I'm looking forward to seeing your next one soon 🙈
Your beauty room is a dream for me it would be my dreams come true also the way you have it set up is beautiful with all your perfumes on that beautiful stand it’s very lovely Angie .
Oh 😍 the candy isle looks like heaven...honestly I want it and at the same time I'm happy we don't have it in Slovakia because I would stop eating regular food 😅😂😂😂
I laughed at we enjoy buying alcohol more than drinking it. That’s been me during the pandemic. I bought all the things but keep sticking to my favorite. I think I’ll try the aperol spritz. Looks yummy. Also I like the Elemis balm. I’ve tried the naked (no scent) version. It’s to fun watching you!
I like a closet clean out. We do have fruits and vegetables on display in our grocery stores in U.S. I was wondering about if you ever have to drive anywhere in a car. Fun video.
Your vlogs make me smile. My husband puts his glasses in his mouth too and it drives me crazy! I had an Aperol Spritz with my BFF today. My favorite summer drink but I hold the soda 😆 Rhubarb is quite popular in the northeast U.S. and we love it with strawberries in 🥧.
I‘m kind of jealous of your recycling system 😄 I mean, it is kind of „normal“ to recycle as much as you can here in Switzerland as well, but it‘s not that common to have the huge bins directly where you live ^^ it‘s usually never really far away, but still 😊 we should have better possibilities to recycle plastic though imho. We have fruits & veggies out as well, rhubarb is well loved here, but costs a fortune 🙈 (ok, what doesn’t 🤣) I usually have a little more Aperol & only use Prosecco and no soda or lemonade with mine - maybe I‘m veeeery wrong here 😂 however, I like to see how stuff is (done) different around the globe 🤣 Thank you for taking us along ❤️
Its so fun seeing everyday things like grocery stores, pet stores, etc in Sweden.
Right?!?! I love seeing everyday things in other countries 🖤
He kinda shook his head when you asked do you want coffee 🤣🤣 adorable!
PS. Super cute couple! I wish the US would start growing veggies like Sweden. So much healthier!
A second blog this week? Yes! Thank you, Angelica.
It’s so cool that they grow stuff in the actual grocery store.
I just purchased the Lust for Dusk palette and I would love to see some looks from you!
Wow! I don't think I have ever seen a recycling place like yours in the U.S. !!! I wish we had a one stop place like that here.
I’m still so happy you started this vlog channel. It’s just so wonderful getting to see Sweden through your eyes and experiences. Your grocery store looks awesome! I love how checkout is setup. I really love seeing Sweden and everyone’s way of life there. 😊 I could watch these videos all day.
Yes. Most US grocery stores have open produce areas where you can choose your own produce. I will say that your store has more of a selection than many stores and the displays are so much prettier.
I love Tesla. He's a good son 😊💕
You're audio was great!

I would love to see a closet declutter!
Congratulations on 6k🥰
I'd be very interested in seeing the Lust for Dusk palette in a video!
I would buy almost anything NYX (the way a lot of people in the US do with Elf) not so much because of the price but because I have faith in the formulas and its SO easy to get.
That is so cool! Store grown produce 🌱🪴🌷
Your country seems way more advanced in the grocery store aspect 😂
30:14 is super cool, that should be the future. 33:27 yes, we do have large selection of loose produce available at most grocery stores.

I subsribed to Maggie's page even though I cant understand her bc i just loved her from your vlog 🖤
The candy section is really out of this world.
In Belgium we also have that type of supermarkets.

Oh my goodness Tesla in the beginning has my heart! I want to give him all the kisses! 💋

Yes please do a review on the dusk pallette by colorpop
Love the little quote on the shopping cart handle🥰
Thank you for sharing.
LOVE Rhubarb….lots of it in Scotland!!!!
The Elemis cleansing balm is beautiful and great at removing make up, a small amount goes a long way 😊
Closest clearout, yes please!! :)
I love those cut up spices in fridge wish I could find those
So exiting to see vegetables grown and sold in store!
Love those glasses, they look so cool and you can see you eye makeup so clearly 🤩
My one grandma used to make strawberry rebar pie 🥧 other than that i wouldnt know what to do with it or what its good for.. ur stores are so neat
Yes for the closet clearout👍
Oh the church bells sound lovely!!!😘
Your vlogs are the best, honestly 👑
I laughed at we enjoy buying alcohol more than drinking it. That’s been me during the pandemic. I bought all the things but keep sticking to my favorite. I think I’ll try the aperol spritz. Looks yummy. Also I like the Elemis balm. I’ve tried the naked (no scent) version.
It’s to fun watching you!
Yay for the closet declutter✨
So excited for a closet clean out! I love your vlogs. 😸💜💙💚
I like a closet clean out. We do have fruits and vegetables on display in our grocery stores in U.S. I was wondering about if you ever have to drive anywhere in a car. Fun video.
Yes closet clean out!!
Love closet cleanouts! That self checkout is amazing, wish we had that in Finland, looks so easy with the scanner.
Loved your vlog ! Nice grocery and pet store . My children have a hydroponics farm in their school this is so cool
I just got the Strawberry Milkshake palette and I am obsessed!
Yes to closet!
We have fruits & veggies out as well, rhubarb is well loved here, but costs a fortune 🙈 (ok, what doesn’t 🤣)
I usually have a little more Aperol & only use Prosecco and no soda or lemonade with mine - maybe I‘m veeeery wrong here 😂 however, I like to see how stuff is (done) different around the globe 🤣
Thank you for taking us along ❤️
