Armys later learned that that reporter had been hired by another entertainment company to specifically go and ask such nasty questions 😒 but BTS, Namjoon and Yoongi especially, are just top notch at the whole media stuff, it's fascinating!
I remembered that fiasco in twitter. Problematic company lol. Also I love how BTS writes the questions, they're the one of only few (as far as I have observed) artists that take down notes and gives different answers to presscons/interviews like this

Yes, it's true, other company was trying so hard to sabotage BTS's new comeback, they hired this problematic reporter with strong desire to destroy the mood between organizational process of BTS. BTS were as always calm, professional and they knew their rights, being mature and educated about "inner life" in BigHit, they hold off all attacks perfectly.
I'm really proud to be their ARMY and always will be.

Joon really does have all the qualities of a great leader! Patient, communicates well with his brothers/members, has integrity, humble, understanding, willing to learn/make changes, empathetic, clever and he knows when to be firm. He's just an amazing person! 💜💜
I agree that Namjoon is a great leader and suga said it again in the latest talkshow interview. I like that suga reminded Namjoon that he is very much appreciated by everyone that he is the leader and they would not have come this far without him. 💜 He is a great role model even at such a young age.

I felt kinda bad that they didn't comfort Jin, maybe because he's the oldest and is often seen as a strong positive person, they felt like they didn't need to . Or maybe they did but it wasn't shown on the show, it just made me feel so sad like knowing, seeing for myself that Jin was so down about it.
Love jin to bits but the problem was he was wrong here. He could have taken the advise and fixed it instead he didnt take tae srsly and took it on his ego. He admitted it too if uve seen the whole thing.
it wasn't even a big deal, friends, family everyone fights. Whats important is how u handle it and jin instantly apologized. Tae should've just accepted it tho but he was hurt so they hashed it out later that night.

We don’t know for certain if Jin was comforted or not. We only see what was filmed and that itself is edited. We don’t know if RM or someone else said something to Jin and maybe no camera was on them at the time or for whatever reason it was caught on film and they chose not to add it in for whatever reason. We only probably see about 5-20% of the actually recorded footage and 1% of everything that is actually going on.
They all have said again and again Namjoon has 3x the work they all do along with him writing songs and also if they need it help out the members with their songs and do it without a reward or expecting any. They all say he’s the best Leader and why they are where they are and he’s been doing this at such a young age too.

Namjoon is a phenomenal leader. He's very attuned to his brother's and guides them on the right path with love and respect. I love how Namjoon and Yoongi handled that reporter with professionalism. I wish world leaders had Namjoon's leadership skills.
Its amazing how poised and mature RM is even since debut. He has a gravitas about him that makes it easy to point him out amongst the members that he’s the leader. You can tell this without knowing the group. He seems to lead with confidence without attitude or arrogance & his ability to be humble and apologize when he’s wrong has earned him the respect from the group. It’s just obvious he values the well being of the entire group not just himself. Nico is right, more people in positions of power need to embody these attributes.
10:54 what happened here is that joon perfectly understood what the reporter was implying but like a gentleman he is he wanted to give him a way out and so he said "You wanted to know our inspirations? I think that was your question? did i understand well?" and the reporter could've said yes and get away scot-free but he decided to dig his own grave even further lmao

I have massive respect for RM because
1. It cannot be easy to keep 6 dudes in check especially on their early days when they were all teenagers including RM himself. But he did it well, yes? Yes.
2. Not being the oldest in the group, RM himself had said that it was hard for him at first because in their culture and a lot of our culture as Asian, age matters in how you approach things. Again, he did that really well and even earning the love and respect from the older members. Kudos to RM.
3. He also said that it was tricky for him because as a leader, he has to be the bridge between the company and the members. Again, he's able to balance this.
On top of all that, creating, producing songs with his kind of lyrics and quality level, plus the hours of work in singing and dancing and everything that they need to do as one of the most active bands in the world,....I just can't.... Phew, MAD respect for this man.

You know Namjoon takes his role seriously and he gets the respect and the admiration of all the members and they truly love and appreciate him. RM is the best!
Namjoon has a lot of responsibilities and stress. They all do, honestly. They take their craft seriously, they have true passion for what they do and they are conscious about what they put out for the fans. You'll hear in multiple interviews and clips how Bangtan is so proud to have Namjoon as their leader. Perhaps he was thrust into that position being that he was the first pillar of BTS and also the only one who could speak English, but he does it so well that I could not imagine it any other way. The guys respect him and frankly, I feel the company respects him as well. He may be a bit goofy and clumsy, our "God of Destruction" lol but he knows how to compose himself and handle situations with such poise and grace. It's so amazing to see the growth of the group and Namjoon's growth as a leader. He really is a great example to all on what that title means.
I love what Nico said about leaders in the Corporate world as well, comparing it to Namjoon's demeanor. I have two jobs...one is within a Corporation and the other is technically a Government job...at BOTH places and frankly all places I've ever worked, I always said and SAW that a bad leader/manager can ruin and breakdown a team, even a great team who seem solid and all.
There is an interview that BTS did recently on KBS where they talked about what they wanted to say to each other AND what they wished they could hear from each other...it's as per Bangtan, hilarious and adorable but also sweet and heartfelt. Of course one of the messages to Namjoon was how great of a leader he is...one of the things Namjoon wished to hear was Jin telling him "he is handsome". Lol it was so cute. Namjoon said that he would love to hear that from the most good looking member...to which I'm sitting up there like, "boi whatchu mean?! Every one of you is good lookin! One of yall say that to me so then my life would end but I would die in utter bliss"! Lol okay yeah, that was dramatic and extra but it was funny...right? Anyway... They really do have a bond and I feel the roles they each play and the respect they have for one another and the support they give one another have really been the key elements to that.

Namjoon is a thoughtful leader. He knows when to step forward and when to step back. And all of Bangtan handle themselves with class. And the respect the boys have for him is something to note as well. They have an amazing team dynamic, and they always check individual ego at the door.
Namjoon's leadership is why BTS is where they are. The whole group's positive attitude and philosophy is down to his example. His role cannot be overstated in my opinion.

The reporter was hired by SM. The French artist in question came out and said that he was actually quite honored that BTS was inspired by his art and that was the whole purpose of art, to inspire others. He was very angry that the reporter used him to cause a conflict with BTS without talking to the artist and getting his opinion first, and he reached out to BTS to say how he loved their music and he hoped he would inspire them more in the future. Mic Drop!
The reporter was actually affiliated with YG. He had a byline in an article for YG Life, a website that provides updates on YG Entertainment news.

That particular artist only said "THAT" because he was backpedaling after being so rude & cocky towards the boys about the whole thing, once he realized that there was no way he could mess with the boys & the whole backlash from ARMY that pretty much make their mission to call him out on his bs with receipts that proved that his own "original never seen before work" that was allegedly "plagiarized" was inspired by the last supper, dude was out here screaming "plagiarism" when he himself took the idea for his work from Leonardo da Vinci.
I like that with most of the questions helps Yoongi. They work very well together and help each other. I think they're airbags, very smart people and watching them is just incredible.
the part during Burn the Stage; this was something to see; Joonie coming in and telling them to squash it until later when it can be discussed w/ more time/care bc they had a job to do. While I always enjoy videos about Namjoon being the "God of Destruction", videos like this are my favorite. They show you the more serious side of of him, and make you realize just how invaluable he is as a part of BTS. Without him, the team may have fallen apart.

You are right Nico! As a manager in the corporate world who always has a team to lead, I get to learn A LOT from Namjoon about how I should go about things. MBA didn't teach me as much as he and Hobi did. It's worth noting that their music gave me strength in my teenage years and they still give me inspiration when I am an adult. 💜

the last clip with the journalist, I'm glad yoongi spoke up responded because RM can't handle every attack coming from every angle 24/7 in different languages, for almost 10 years now just because he's the leader. there's only so much a guy can handle and I'm glad he was supported in this instance by yoongi. I'm sure RM would appreciate if the members took some of the burden every now and then because it looks like he takes on so much psychologically/mentally for BTS because he's the leader

That burn the stage episode was when they went to Prudential Center in Jersey. We didn't even pick up on any of that tension when they came on stage. It was high energy all the way to the end of the encore stage. The professional level of these boys are on another level.

You could hear in that reporter's voice that he was super nervous to bring up this album issue, cuz he knew what tf he was doing and was even paid for doing. He was sent by one of the other companies (I think YG) to stir some shit up. This is one of the MANY examples older Army talk about when we say the industry always keeps trying to put BTS down, cuz they got big without the help of money, media play or favors with other companies. And they don't like that. Especially the big3 (SM, JYP, YG)

I really appreciate his leadership skills 👏RM was so young to take upon the leader role; I mean being a leader of group is a lot to take on especially at his age of what 16 or 17 yrs old. For me growing up most his kids his age were only thinking of having fun then thinking about responsibility that could easily could of messed with his head and confidence. But he is way stronger then anyone I've ever met in life.

Hi guys! Cheers! HAPPY 2022! I want to explain that in the third part when Nam Joon was explaining to the boys how to move on stage it was because the staff told Nam Joon that the stage was collapsing and he gave the instruction which side was the most dangerous so he quickly created the strategy of how strong or not they should move, which side was the right one, he really knew, if scare the members how to generate the least damage, no one would be hurt, the boys were calmed when he told them enjoy it because he knew it could show in their expressions. He is a great leader.
