Hi John. I truly believe Youngman was coming up for a cuddle or pat from you. He was looking at you the whole time. He was relaxed, strolled over, only to you, nobody else. Wow.

That horse acted like he wanted you to give him some love. Have you met this horse before? He acts like your his best buddy come to visit. It's really quite sweet. It might be your Soothing voice, the golf voice, you use when there are alot of people filming. I guess this horsie love is a mutual admiration with you. I can see that, your a good soul.

You are correct about the horsie withdrawals. I'm grateful it was a peaceful march (more or less) I hope their cause is successful. We have had much success and joy over the last couple of weeks amid the sorrows. I wish UK the best for all your people.
But I've missed the horses so much. They bring me peace amid the chaos. Also a good dose of your humor helps take my mind off the sadness hitting everywhere. Thank you for filming today I need this.

The sky looks so much nicer than yesterday sky during the Tommy R March.
QE2 tower looks amazing against what I call " London 💙 Blue" sky. An almost ombre sky blue at the top and fading down to the lighter misty blue towards the buildings. (Hope makes sense). But it makes the buildings and red phone boxes glow in the light, and casts amazing shadows of street lights, the signs ect.

@@maryholder3795 I've always lived in London and my late mother used to say that the sky always seemed to darken when an upheaval was occurring but would become clearer when that upheaval had pasted. I also began to notice that phenomenon as well... Coincidence or not... Who knows 🤷♀... By the way, I've had poems published in different anthologies over the years and recognise the people that have a way with words... Well done on such a well written comment. 💯

Young man wanted a closeup with the only channel that deserves it. If I was getting a photo and someone just came over and stood in front of me, they would get the short shift quick smart. The white line is all that is needed, people just need to use their eyes and have a modicum of respect. Youngman reinstating his presence and authority. I wonder if Monty gave him a wink.

I admire the twin lady troopers... they are always exceptional and it's a very difficult job to have people buzzing around you, staring at you all the time annoying you.. triggering the horses. It was a hard day. Normally the horse would clop around and fight... this one didn't give a damn and just walks out of the box. I hope these ladies hold on to these horses well when they act up; I know they are well trained and capable and I want them to be safe at all times.

Wow, didn't realise how crowded it was till the trooper attended to Youngman. I would find all that attention on me very uncomfortable but then I'm not a trained soldier!

Another great video John ty, would love to see someone clean horseguards buildings with a pressure washer, its such a beautiful piece of history, it just really needs a clean 😂 it would look amazing, its sad seeing it look like its in a state of disrepair in places, stay safe and keep on filming :)
Horse Guards is a Grade 1 Listed Building meaning it's of architectural and historical importance . 250 year old Portland stone cannot be pressure washed it requires specialist cleaning which would mean closing down .

Maybe it's just me but the thought crossed my mind the lady Trooper allowed Youngman to walk forwards to the line of spammers directly in front of her hoping they'd scatter ! I would find them intensely annoying scrutinizing my every move and hoping for something to happen so they can use it as a sensational caption on their videos ! Vietnamese spammer seems to have disappeared ! Your private conversation the other day regarding changes happening has I'm sure got all of us intrigued , I know I am 🤔. I wonder how long we'll have to wait without speculating too much 😀.

John, or any viewers from the UK, do you know whether that gentleman playing the steel drum the same gentleman who played the steel drum at the Natural History Museum near the ice rink a few years back?
The first time I saw him was in The BritBox series, The Lights Before Christmas - Luminous London, from 2021. He was playing Jingle Bells and that’s what got me into watching RUclips videos from London, I started watching Watched Walker and Mostly Walking.. And after seeing a clip of horse guards, and made me search for more, and that’s how I found your channel.
If you watch Young man again John that was just a slow walk towards you as if he wanted to come over to you. he is obviously so used to you lol

Big Ben really is stunny, aint it.
A waist high, flexible pole on each white line about a half meter or so from the wall would provide an unobtrusive visual barrier to most of the unintentional box trespassers. Flexible so when Young Man takes an unscheduled walk.
Public pavement anything like that will not happen 😊

To be fair, there are no signs warning people to stay out of the box. The white lines should be enough to say “do not cross”, but some people are oblivious. And many tourists don’t understand when the Trooper tells them to get back. 😊
They are allowed to use their own judgement as stated by the Officers and NCO's .
